Richard Disney, candidate for Assembly District #26 clearly stated his opinions on illegal immigration. Once again, Richard Disney illustrates a genuine confidence by running on his beliefs.

We have a system that allows business to pretend they unknowingly hire illegal aliens while social security office looks the other way, resulting in exponential growth of uncontrollable, illegal border crossings. The solution, we are told, is a “guest” worker program, under the notion that this is the humane way to “treat” people that have worked illegally for years. Nothing could be further from the truth. This is just another fabrication by the MSM, unethical businesses, politicians, and liberal hypocrisy.

The truth is, this is nothing more than institutionalized racism. “Guest worker” status will create a permanent supply of second-class non-citizens, essentially a slave class within US borders, while the Lear Jet Liberal Establishment looks the other way and dines on caviar. For the individuals and businesses that have made themselves rich off the backs of illegal aliens, this new “guest” worker program would suit them just fine, as their sleazy activities of the past would now be lawful. Legal immigrants, who have full and complete rights to pursue the American Dream, should be the only people that fill the ranks of necessary labor in a free society.

If we need to check inflation, then reform the INS and open the floodgates of legal immigration. The aliens currently in this country would have the minor inconvenience of going home, applying through legal channels, safely crossing the borders at customs, and proudly entering this country with an equal shot at the American Dream. Compared to the current choices between crossing the Sonoran desert to an illegal existence or entering the slave class under the guise of “guest” worker, legal immigration would provide the dignity, equality, and opportunity that American citizenship gives.
