Looks like a third victory for Muslim Brotherhood fronts in US federal courts in 2007. On Friday, a US Chicago Appeals Court overturned a 2004 lower court decision awarding $156 million to the parents of a 17 year old son killed by terrorists at a bus stop in Israel. The original suit brought under a 1992 law allowing US victims of terrorism to bring such actions for compensation was brought by Stanley and Joyce Boim, whose 17-year-old son David was shot and killed by gunmen while standing at a bus stop near Beit El in the West Bank. The three defendants were connected to Islamic charities who had funneled funds to Hamas, a Palestinian group officially listed by Israel, the US and the EU.
