DETROIT — A teenager convicted of killing a man, then beheading him and setting fire to his body in what prosecutors called a thrill killing was sentenced Monday to life in prison without parole.
Jean Pierre Orlewicz, 18, didn’t speak before being sentenced to the mandatory term.
“I am grateful that you are going away for the rest of your life, because in my view I believe you will kill again,” Wayne County Circuit Court Judge Annette Berry said.

What good is it going to do ?why would a kid like JP.pick a 6ft 210 pound man to attack if this was a thrill kill?.A boy who had no problems at schooljust plans to kill a man,does not make any sence This bully made monsters by threatening and bullied the kid .LIfe for a 18 yr old is unreal . yes what he did was wrong , maybne he could turn his life arounf by sharing this awful story ,and hows it changed his life. jail isnt the answer for this kid , i would love to write jp if any one cared to share his addy with me . he does not deserve to have a life sentence . i feel very bad for him, and his family , remember Dan was no saint either… nancy
i do not belive he would kill again. jp was pushed into something that became out of control and jp went to far with it . give the kids a break .teach them something good ,more then they will learn in jail my heart goes out to jp and alex
