This is sad and totally wrong. After 11 years of dedicated service to AIG, AIG Executive Vice President Jake DeSantis penned this resignation letter to AIG CEO Edward M. Liddy in the New York Times today: Dear A.I.G., I Quit!. A man who did nothing wrong, who was betrayed by AIG and hunted down by ACORN and their thugs and railed against by the guilty politicians who actually were behind all the bailouts and massive debt. He wasn’t behind the shennannigans that were used to handle the credit default swaps at AIG. Now, after working for $1 for the last year and many hours of overtime, he’s had enough. Valid contracts are now being made meaningless by our corrupt politicians in direct violation of the Constitution.

Key excerpt:

After 12 months of hard work dismantling the company — during which A.I.G. reassured us many times we would be rewarded in March 2009 — we in the financial products unit have been betrayed by A.I.G. and are being unfairly persecuted by elected officials. In response to this, I will now leave the company and donate my entire post-tax retention payment to those suffering from the global economic downturn. My intent is to keep none of the money myself.

I take this action after 11 years of dedicated, honorable service to A.I.G. I can no longer effectively perform my duties in this dysfunctional environment, nor am I being paid to do so. Like you, I was asked to work for an annual salary of $1, and I agreed out of a sense of duty to the company and to the public officials who have come to its aid. Having now been let down by both, I can no longer justify spending 10, 12, 14 hours a day away from my family for the benefit of those who have let me down.

Tom Elia at The New Editor said it better than I ever could:

If it were up to me, Chris Dodd, Barney Frank, and Charles Rangel would be skinned alive on national television.

That’s exactly how I feel and how many other Americans feel. Hear, hear!

And don’t miss this one: Prescription for Poverty. All the smoke and mirrors and pointing fingers is just a distraction for a massive government power grab and a redistribution of wealth.

Key excerpt:

Barack Obama’s press conference last night claimed economic recovery is “inseparable” from a proposed budget that offers charity for none, malice toward many, and debt for generations to come.

And now onto fraud… Did you hear the FBI is gearing up for massive fraud because of the bailouts? Check it out: FBI: Stimulus, Bailout Will Lead to More Fraud.

And one of my favorite writers, Michelle Malkin, spells out all the nasty details and statistics connected to The Give Act and The Serve Act. Let me just reiterate here, my children and my grandchildren will NOT be forced into this. I don’t care what they do to us – the government can pound sand… Michelle’s article: To GIVE and To SERVE: The $6 Billion National Service Boondoggle.

Make sure you attend the nearest Nationwide Tax Day Tea Party. Read Newt Gingrich’s latest: Americans are TEA’d as well and get involved. We have got to get rid of these corrupt elitist politicians and take our country back. I fear time is very short to do so given the steamrolling towards Socialism we see in the current administration. Do it for your kids, do it for your country, do it for you… Get involved: The 9-12 Project.
