… I question the timing of the release of this report – it smacks of trying to scare people away from the Tea Parties. May I contend that it will do just the opposite. Be careful what you wish for guys. I truly believe we have traded one tyrant 3000 miles away for 3000 tyrants one mile away. Time for a political enema…

Face it, if you are a Conservative or a Libertarian, if you did not vote for Obama, if you value your second amendment rights, if you believe in sovereignty and The Constitution, if you go to Tea Parties, if you are against illegal immigration and shamnesty, if you are a Christian, if you are a returning veteran or if you are just a blogger who states their opinion, you are on a list at the government level. Sound paranoid? Read Michelle’s articles and read the DHS document. It makes it very clear. There are those who disagree with me, but it couldn’t be clearer that a shot has been fired across the Conservative bow…
Using lame excuses such as the recession to say that right wing extremism is gathering momentum is something to think about – could it be that Americans have had enough? That they are tired of taxation with misrepresentation and with big brother sticking their nose into every facet of our lives while sucking the life out of us with the aforementioned taxation? Could it be that Americans are disillusioned with their leaders and they are gathering at tea parties to make a peaceful statement? Do their numbers scare the politicians? I sure as hell hope so…

Barack Obama’s administration is basically telling law enforcement that the potential enemy to this country and law-and-order are individuals who are pro-life, want the U.S. border secured, and believe in state’s rights. And it gets even worse: the DHS report says military men and women returning from Iraq and Afghanistan should be perceived to be a potential threat. How dare Obama and his administration attempt to tarnish the noble, honorable and selfless service of our brave troops!
A great viewpoint on this whole thing can be seen over at Power Line: Watch Out For Those Crazy Right Wingers! It is a cool, legal point of view that points out the inconsistencies in the assessment. The conclusion is the same as mine, it is a political hack job. Lest you forget, this is not the first time this has happened and certainly won’t be the last.
