As many of you know, I started BlackFive to counter the media’s slant on our military and to highlight the good that our military men and women do every day.
For the last few months, I’ve been working with David Bellavia and others on a project with a simple mission “to protect and promote the reputation of America’s Warriors.” We decided to start our own foundation in order to continue that mission.
The Warrior Legacy Foundation is now live.

On Memorial Day, six years ago, my friend gave his life to save a convoy of soldiers and two journalists. It is fitting that, this week before Memorial Day, we are talking about continuing the fight to protect his (and all vets) legacy. The mission is simple enough to convey, but we’ll need everyone’s help to succeed
Spread the word far and wide. Our warriors sacrifice for us every day so that we may be free and live the American dream. Take a moment to remember them and to thank them. That’s the very least we can all do…
