Today, we learn that the Obama administration has asked that charges of election day voter intimidation against three members of the New Black Panthers Party for Self-Defense be dropped. Now, we ask why?

According to a Washington Times editorial:

One of the defendants, Jerry Jackson, is an elected member of Philadelphia’s 14th Ward Democratic Committee and was a credentialed poll watcher for Barack Obama and the Democratic Party when the violations occurred. Rather conveniently, the Obama administration has asked that the cases against Mr. Jackson, two other defendants and the party be dropped.

On Nov. 4, 2008, I published a post about what I described as “tryouts” being held for the Civilian National Security Force being touted by then-presidential candidate Obama. That post, featuring the video above, highlighted the blatant voter-intimidation actions of the three men.

Take a look at the video above and decide whether you think the charges should be dropped. I think you’ll agree with me that the answer is a resounding “NO!”
