I watched to Glenn Beck yesterday on Fox and couldn’t agree more with him – I feel great in the morning until I see the news. Then, a total sense of unreality hits me, vertigo ensues and an impending sense of doom lowers itself into my collective thoughts for the day. In a word, it sucks…

I looked at the stock market this morning and at the moment, it is roughly up 115 points. CNN is running headlines such as:

Why taxes will need to go up Yeah, it’s always taxes. How about being fiscally responsible and cutting pork and irresponsible spending?

Manufacturing index up for 6th straight month Really? The people aren’t seeing it…

Housing rebound continues, barely Uh, actually, housing prices have declined about 18% this year. Mortgage applications just hit a 7 month low as well.

Job market shows signs of life Is that a fact? With Fox quoting Depression era stats on unemployment? Get real Beavis…

Now mind you, the first thing I heard on Fox this morning is that shocking unemployment numbers just came out. Up to 26.8% in the farming communities of California and the auto communities of Michigan. Well done Obama and our new government! That’s the kind of change that bankrupts a country. You can bet, those figures don’t count those not applying or who have run out of unemployment bennies as well.

But according to the media, everything is great! We are in the clear! Gee, wonder how Americans feel? Doubt they feel that way. What we feel here in my household is that we are in the beginnings of a depression and that the country is galloping towards civil unrest.

Jobs are disappearing all over, stores are closing and families are wondering just how they are going to make it. During all this, Obama is shoving socialized health care and cap and trade down our throats. If those go through, that’s it folks. America is toast – get ready for the ride of a lifetime, because I guarantee ‘interesting times’ ahead for Americans and that is assured change you can believe in.

America is down the rabbit hole. What is happening and what we are being told by the media and government don’t bear even the slightest resemblance to each other. Americans aren’t stupid – they know this and tensions are mounting every where you look. Stop and ask people on the street – you might be surprised that you are not alone in your fears. Unfortunately, a pill won’t fix this. It’s going to be rough and scary, but like getting in shape the pain will be worth it. Time to clean house politically and financially – America, take your freedoms back from our corrupt leadership. July 4th and Tea Parties are a great place to start…
