Does anybody have any idea what power or authority these “czars” will have? Or what “checks and balances” are set up to avoid misuse of any such power? Or what they’re paid and who has the power to allocate the funds for their salaries? Or who determines what their appropriate function is and makes sure their activities are limited to that function alone?

I have a LOT of concern about the Executive Branch delegating power to minions who don’t have to answer to “We the People”.

How long are we going to put up with this socialist BS? There must be some strong leaders somewhere that can rally the people before it’s too late. Do we just let the bullies kick us to the curb and take what we have spent our lives to develop? What a mighty roar there will be when the “sleeping giant” awakens! I concur with Alan G. I re-read the D of I a couple of weeks ago and recommend everyone should read or re-read it, then think about what Obama is doing. Our Founders must be turning over in their graves.

I too found this site via the Anchoress, and I would like to thank Noisyroom for this list. I knew the czar thing was way out of hand, but did not realize it was this extensive/bizarre. A person might shrug off one of Obama’s appointees, but when you look at them all in totality and see the consistent strain of socialism/marxism and bizarre concepts that they have espoused, I find that this administration is getting awfully scary.
