Meet Kevin Jennings – the new ‘Safe Schools’ Czar. I read quite a bit about Mr. Jennings last night and did not like what I found… I’ll leave that up to you – so let’s get with today’s latest Czar profile.
Kevin Jennings, appointed by President Obama to be assistant deputy secretary of education in charge of the Office of Safe and Drug Free Schools, is founder of an organization dedicated to promoting pro-homosexual clubs and curricula in public schools.
Jennings founded the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN), an organization that is a prime force behind the creation of “gay-straight alliance” clubs in high schools–and some junior highs–around the country.
Mr. Jennings unabashedly promotes his pro-homosexual agenda and GLSEN supports the following:
Creates ‘Gay-Straight Alliances’ in public schools.
GLSEN publishes a manual called “The Jump Start Guide” to instruct teen (and some pre-teen) students in how to form the alliances.
The guide, which can be found on the GLSEN Web site, specifically instructs students in the tactics of homosexual activism.
Part Seven of the guide is devoted to teaching students about “transgender issues” and the need to be “trans-inclusive.”
Part Five of the guide, titled “Examining Power, Privilege and Oppression,” instructs students in GLSEN’s definition of prejudice.
“Adultism,” the guide tells students, “is characterized by ‘disrespect towards the intelligence, judgment, emotional life, leadership, or physical being of young people.’”
This subject is heavily discussed in Part 6 of the guide, which deals with “Creating Youth-Adult Partnerships.” This part of the book also instructs the school-based alliances on how to conduct workshops on adultism for adult groups with which they wish to partner.
The GLSEN Web site also includes a list of recommended books involving homosexually themed material for use in classrooms.
Dubbed the new ‘gay’ Czar by many, Kevin Jennings is not only a proponent of the homosexual movement, but was also the Assistant Deputy Secretary, Office of Safe & Drug Free Schools at the Department of Education. Key excerpt from The Traditional Values Coalition:
At this same GLSEN conference, Jennings told his fellow gay teachers that they must teach kids to accept homosexuality “before the children have a chance to be prejudiced by their parents and churches.” What he calls prejudice, we call biblical morality and decency.
He admits that he wants gay teachers to violate the moral values of parents and of church teachings on the evils of gay sex acts!

Twenty percent of people are hard-core fair-minded [pro-homosexual] people. Twenty percent are hard-core [anti-homosexual] bigots. We need to ignore the hard-core bigots, get more of the hard-core fair-minded people to speak up, and we’ll pull that 60 percent [of people in the middle] over to our side. That’s really what I think our strategy has to be. We have to quit being afraid of the religious right. We also have to quit — I’m trying to find a way to say this. I’m trying not to say, ‘[F—] ‘em!’ which is what I want to say, because I don’t care what they think! [audience laughter] Drop dead!” — Jennings speech to Marble Collegiate Church, March 20, 2000. Jennings also wrote the foreword to Queering Elementary Education which advocated using gay literature and essays in reading, writing, and talking. Obama friend and unrepentant domestic terrorist Bill Ayers wrote a glowing endorsement on the back cover of this book.
Well, well… Look, it’s our old friend Bill Ayers again. He seems to really get around and influence the majority of the Obama “in” crowd.

No Safe Haven For Straight Kids
With Kevin Jennings running the Office of Safe and Drug-Free Schools, we can expect an all-out attack against parental rights, free speech, and religious freedom in our nation’s public schools.
Jennings will make schools safe for gays, drag queens, and children with Gender Identity Disorders, but no public school will be safe for straight kids, Christians, or anyone with traditional values.
Kevin Jennings is a threat to our nation’s children and should be fired.

Here’s how one Hayward, California teacher made use of GLSEN’s resources: During a celebration of National Ally Week, she passed out cards produced by GLSEN to her class of kindergartners. The cards asked signers to be ‘an ally’ and to pledge to ‘not use anti-LGBT (that’s lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) language or slurs. This is nice, but how do you explain to a kindergartner what a lesbian is?
In Jenning’s new position, he will be responsible for:
Promoting the health and well being of students in elementary and secondary schools, and institutions of higher education;
Suggesting policies related to violence and drug prevention;
Advising the Education Secretary on the formulation of comprehensive school health education policy; and
Administering the Department’s programs relating to character and civics education.
I’m sure there will be no conflict with Jenning’s new position and his agenda as well as his anti-religion stance… Right… This appointment comes as no surprise to most of us – Obama has openly supported the homosexual agenda from the beginning. But, as a parent, I can’t help but scream that this has no place in our lower schools. We do not want our children brainwashed into sexual and political agendas from Kindergarten on virtually creating a village of zombie children who will further state-sponsored agendas and sacrifice family values for those dictated to them in the classroom and in textbooks. Evidently our President and his elite corps of Czars are saying screw the Constitution and freedom of religion, speech and any other rights that get in the way of their viewable and hidden agendas… They are doing it for the children don’t ya know… It’s beginning to sound a lot like the Hitler Youth to me.
In a Twitter message on May 30, 2009, Sen. John McCain said this of the Obama administration:
“Obama has more czars than the Romanovs — who ruled Russia for 3 centuries. Romanovs 18, cyberczar makes 20.”
