Amid the Van Jones’ resignation over the weekend, Dear Leader’s minions seem to have shifted into attack mode and are aggressively assaulting conservative blogs, Glenn Beck and other patriots who believe in the Constitution. We were hacked last week, but slapped the trolls back down. For more on the attacks, check this post out: Prepare for Liberal Backlash Against Conservatives! We have only begun to fight, so giddy-up folks – time to take a stand and fight even harder.
I know many of you already know that Wikipedia can be doctored and at times, is used as a propaganda tool. Dr. Melissa Clouthier brought to my attention this weekend a wikipedia entry on the number of Czars per president. At first blush, it appears that President George W. Bush had more Czars than President Obama. But look more closely:
President’s name – In office – Number of “czar” jobs – Number of appointees
George W. Bush – 2001-2009 - 35 – 45
Barack Obama – 2009 – 32 – 34
The first glaring point is that Barack Obama was just put in office this year. President Bush was in office for eight years. Instead of counting a position once, they counted each person appointed to that position. While Obama has a couple of Czars that have the same title serving concurrently, Bush’s Czars served one after another.
There is also the point as to what the term ‘Czar’ means. Different people define it as different things. On this blog we define it as any individual with excessive governmental authority or power, whether senate confirmed or not, who reports primarily to the President or his cabinet. Many say a Czar is any person appointed by the President with excessive governmental authority or power. This is something we will get into at a later date and try and come up with a common definition that is uniformly applied. For now, we won’t contest who is being labeled a Czar and who is not, but rather the way the numbers are being skewed.
For instance… This poorly vetted page is listing that Bush had three Aids Czars – all with the same title:
AIDS Czar Director of the Office of National AIDS Policy
Evertz, Scott 2001-2002 Pres appointed
O’Neill, Joe 2002-2003 Pres appointed
Thompson, Carol 2004-2006 Pres appointed
These three served one after another – look at the dates. Whoever did this page on Wikipedia is counting them as three separate Czars. Creative accounting much? There’s more – and I’ll list them separately for President Bush – most served one after the other, there are one or two that left almost immediately after having been appointed (this is typical in politics – things shuffle all the time):
Budget czar Director of the White House Office of Management and Budget
Daniels, Mitchell E. 2001-2003 Pres Nominated, Senate Confirmed

Clarke, Richard A. 2001 Jan – 2001 Oct Pres. appointed (held over from Clinton administration)
Downing, Wayne 2001-Nov to 2002-Jun (New position), Pres. appointed
A position is just one position. To count all holders of that position over the tenure of a President is disingenuous to say the least and at worst twisted political propaganda. Conservatives had their issues with President Bush, but we are dealing now with the current President and his current Czars. Stop blaming Bush and start cleaning out our Marxist government before our Republic becomes a thing of the past!
So, let’s count Czars one more time shall we? On this blog, we are showing in actuality that Obama has 56 at last count. We count on Wikipedia the following (we can actually count over here with no propaganda spin):
Obama 32
Bush 29
And there are a number of those that are counted as Czars for Bush that I question as even worthy of the title ‘Czar.’
If you are going to spin the wheel of Czar propaganda, at least be honest with the numbers. Someone will check. I seriously doubt that the One’s defenders will check though and the left will try and rewrite political history once again because it is to their advantage to do so. This blog will keep writing on the current administration’s Czars and their fascist agenda. You don’t need propaganda when you have the truth and facts to back it up.
