Fact: Illegal immigrants are taking jobs from Idaho citizens as the unemployment rate skyrockets to new highs in the worst recession since the Great Depression.
· A recent Department of Labor statistics study shows “there are no jobs Americans won’t do for ‘living’ wages.”
· Wage suppression and wage stagnation are part of the problem in the industries that hire illegal alien labor
Fact: The cost of social services for low-skilled illegal immigrants, including healthcare and schooling, is costing the citizens of Idaho over $200,000,000 per year.
Fact: According to recent polling, 73% of Americans want the number of illegal aliens in the country decreased, yet Congress refuses to enforce federal immigration law and secure our sovereign borders. (CNN/Opinion Research Corporation Survey)
Fact: The Obama administration and the Department of Homeland Security are gutting interior enforcement mechanisms.
· Except for violent criminal aliens, the detainment and deportation has ceased. Other crimes costing American families goes unpunished such as identity theft and fraud.
