I miss you so my Misty dear
But Mommie’s glad that you’re not here
to see your Mommie so upset
So I have not one regret
‘Cause you are in a peaceful place
And don’t have to see what we have to face

I truly know that you’re just fine
And just lit a candle on your shrine
That’s something that I always do
But now need a favor just from you
No need for you to shed a tear
But say a prayer for those down here
I now that God will hear your prayer
And understand how much you care

So please ask Him to bless this land
He sees it all–He’ll understand
And will listen to a kitty’s plea
To keep her homeland safe and free

Put your front paws together and softly mew
Like Mommie always taught you to
He heard your prayers when you were here
Now He’s with you, and so near
That you can lay down at His hand
No need for words, He’ll understand

Please ask his blessing on election day
Because we need to have our say
And save this land from desecration
By one we call Obamanation
