Looks like our bud Trevor over at New Zeal has been hard at it once again doing the journalistic work from New Zealand that American ‘journalists’ can’t be bothered with. Seriously, this guy is making the US media look very, very bad… And we are all for helping Trevor out with that!
For a long, long time on this blog we have railed against illegal immigration in the US. Not only is it a security risk, it creates a pervasive culture of slavery for illegal immigrants. It is very simple – America welcomes immigrants wholeheartedly – but do it legally and do it right…
What the Obama administration has in mind though is a whole new, huge voting class. In a ‘I’ll scratch your back if you scratch mine’ move, our government has made it painfully clear that they will grant amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants if they will just vote the right way, the Obama way. This not only violates the US Constitution and the rights of every legal American citizen, it undermines our whole election process. It is a massive power move of such magnitude, to even call it voter fraud and manipulation is to underplay the scope and breadth of the entire issue. 8 million votes would give the Marxist/Socialist/Progressive’s a stranglehold of power over the US that could be a liberty death knell in itself.

At the America’s Future Now! conference in Washington, DC on June 2, 2009, SEIU International Executive Vice President Eliseo Medina addressed attendees on why comprehensive immigration reform is an important issue for the progressive community to support, and how progressives can forge common ground on an immigration reform strategy.

Speaking of Latino voters, Medina said “when they voted in November, they voted overwhelmingly for progressive candidates. Barack Obama got two out of every three voters that showed up”
So I think there’s two things that matter for the progressive community.
Number one, if we are to expand this electorate to win, the progressive community needs to solidly be on the side of immigrants, that we’ll expand and solidify the progressive coalition for the future…”
When you are in the middle of a fight for your life you will remember who was there with you. And immigrants count on progressives to be able to do that.
Number two.
We reform the immigration laws, it puts 12 million people on the path to citizenship and eventually voters. Can you imagine if we have, even the same ratio, two out of three?
If we have eight million new voters who care about …… and will be voting. We will be creating a governing coalition for the long term, not just for an election cycle.
There you have the strategy. Fight for the illegal immigrants, grant them citizenship, then exploit their gratitude in the form of votes to create a “governing coalition for the long term, not just for an election cycle..”
Pretty clear huh? As vice president of the radical SEIU, Medina has been the US’s most effective immigration “reform” activist. His union, SEIU is also the major backer of the Gutierrez bill. Here you see a convergence in agenda’s between organizations such as La Raza, SEIU, the Obama Administration and many others… It’s the Marxist/Socialist/Progressive way don’t cha know? These guys are using Chicago politics brutally and they are playing for all the marbles in the game. Woe to those that get in their way. Big unions are making their move for ultimate control with the government in this country and they are moving at lightning speed to do it…

This is one more piece in an American chess match and the black king is trying to zero in on checkmate. Too bad that innocent Latinos are becoming pawns of an evil Marxist despot while creating a governing coalition for the long term.
