We’re Coming For You, Harry!
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) is running scared.
Falling increasingly behind in the polls, Reid appears to have stooped to a new low. Reports out of Nevada the past two weeks have centered around a bogus new “Tea Party” political party.
The fake “Tea Party” announced they would field a candidate against Harry Reid in the general election. Net effect: to split the conservative vote and ensure a win for Reid.
The Our Country Deserves Better Committee and Tea Party Express quickly denounced this new “Nevada Tea Party” as a complete fraud. None of the activists in the state’s true-blue tea party movement had any clue who these phonies were that came riding in to try and save Harry Reid’s political career.
We were quick to denounce this fake “Nevada Tea Party” – HERE.
But we’re going to overcome each and every obstacle and dirty trick that Harry Reid throws at us, and we invite you to join along as we fight back! And try as he might, we aren’t going to back down, go away or be defeated.
On March 27th we launch the “Showdown in Searchlight” kickoff to the Tea Party Express III: Just Vote Them Out tour with a rally in Sen. Reid’s tiny hometown of Searchlight, Nevada. You need to be there for this huge and historic event.
If you have not already made plans to go, we ask you to please do what you can to come. This will be one of the largest political events of the year, and we need a huge sea of people there to help us fight to “Defeat Harry Reid!”
You can also email us to ask if there will be a charter bus leaving from your city heading to Searchlight for the March 27th event. Just send us an email with your name, email address and city & state to: [email protected]
Harry Reid thinks he can pull a fast one on us and the voters. Now it’s time to prove him wrong!
Watch the Fox News & CNN reports on the big-time keynote speaker for the “Showdown in Searchlight” – Former Governor & Vice Presidential Candidate, Sarah Palin. See the Fox News & CNN news reports – HERE:
The rally featuring Gov. Palin (and another Tea Party Express rally in Boston, MA on April 14th) will be free and open to the public. Palin is participating in this effort for free as a tea party supporter and without compensation.
As we launch the “Showdown in Searchlight” effort, we will also be launching our 3rd wave of “Defeat Harry Reid” television ads. Polls show we are winning this fight with Reid’s numbers routinely falling lower and lower – but now we have to deal with a new fake “Tea Party” candidate to split the vote (a candidate many in Nevada is being set up by Harry Reid). Our goal is to raise $200,000 in this campaign to defeat Sen. Reid’s re-election bid.
And we only have until March 27th to raise it and go on the airwaves with our “Defeat Harry Reid” ads. Please make a contribution to this effort – HERE.
Fox News describes Tea Party Express III and the “Showdown in Searchlight” targeting Harry Reid as the most ambitious tea party effort planned in 2010:
We are going to need your support to ensure this campaign for constitutionalist conservative values is successful.
Please make a contribution to the Tea Party Express III effort. You can contribute as little as $5 up the maximum allowed contribution of $5,000. Remember – we need to raise $200,000 by March 27th. Time is ticking away, and we need your support now.
You can contribute online right now – HERE.
To help us make significant headway towards reaching our goal we need 461 supporters to make a contribution of $100 or more – CLICK HERE to CONTRIBUTE.

Concerns grow over China’s sale of US bonds; Evidence is mounting that Chinese sales of US Treasury bonds over recent months are intended as a warning shot to Washington over escalating political disputes rather than being part of a routine portfolio shift as thought at first.
