This week, “Dingy Harry” (as Rush Limbaugh likes to call him) hit a new low. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nevada) went on national television and celebrated job losses as proof of the success of the Obama-Pelosi-Reid dance with socialism.

Watch the video. It displays a man who has no grasp on the reality that the rest of us live in:

No, Harry, it is not “really good” that we lost 36,000 jobs. We The People were sold a bill of goods by you, the Democrat leadership in Congress, President Obama, and sadly even by President George Bush and the Republicans in Congress.

We were told we had to embrace a rush to Big Government. We had to endure out-of-control deficit spending. We had to give up the principles of a Free Market society and watch the government bail out companies, take over others, and impose their will, power and might in industry after industry. Now they want to tell us what kind of cars we can drive, lightbulbs we can use, and what temperature we must set our thermostat to at home – or else face fines and punishment from the government.

We’re losing our liberty.

Our nation sold its soul to a notion we knew to be wrong. And yes, even evil. We gave up what our nation was founded upon because of the excuse that we just had to do so to have things turn out right. It was a crisis, and betraying our founding principles as a people was the only way to save the day.

Not enough of us had paid attention to the words of Rahm Emanuel who had exposed for us all what was really going on: “You never want to let a serious crisis go to waste.”

And yet here is Senator Reid, telling us how we should all feel good about the loss of 36,000 jobs. Yeah right. You failed us, Harry. And worst, we as Americans failed ourselves the past couple of years. And we know it, and we’re determined as a people to do what we can to correct the errors that have taken place thus far. That is why there is this vibrant tea party movement.

And that is why we are coming for you. We’ll help you pack up your office, rent the moving truck for you. Whatever it takes. Because we’re letting you know that the time has now arrived for your retirement in politics, whether you wish it to be or not. It’s our choice – as We The People, the voters – and not yours. You’re so arrogant you genuinely don’t get that. But come Election Day we have a feeling you’ll start to understand much better.
