Let a man be known by the counsel he keeps…

President Obama would have us believe that he spent 20 years in Jeremiah Wright’s church, but he never noticed the Marxist theology or the blatant hatred towards America, Jews and Caucasians in general. He verbally threw the Reverend Wright under the political bus, but is still lifelong friends with him and taking his counsel. Black Liberation Theology is the basis for Wright’s sermons and you better believe it is an ideology that Obama embraces wholeheartedly – just not out in the open.

Many have commented on the obvious lack of church attendance by the first family over the last year. This gives the impression they are adrift spiritually and worse yet, either have no faith or are hiding their true spiritual leanings. But never fear, New Zeal has a new post detailing Obama’s new minister and his beliefs as well as further background on Jeremiah Wright and his interesting connections and history.

The Reverend Jim Wallis

Meet the Reverend Jim Wallis – a leader of American “progressive” Christianity. Rev. Wallis has served on Obama’s White House Advisory Council on Faith-based and Neighborhood Partnerships, or “Faith Council” since 2008, but he has a very personal relationship with Obama that goes back for many years. He is a staunch supporter and defender of Obama and especially Obama’s outreach to Muslims.

New Zeal looks at Rev. Wallis’ history and background which makes for very interesting reading. Here are some highlights:

• He is a political activist first and foremost, using the Christian faith as a political vehicle.
• Wallis went on to join and then lead the militant Students for a Democratic Society, at Michigan State University.
• After College, Wallis went on to attend Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Illinois where he joined with other young seminarians in establishing the community that eventually became Sojourner.
• Meanwhile, many of Wallis’ old SDS comrades had founded a new Marxist organization with some older Communist Party veterans , patriotically named, the New American Movement. In 1982, NAM, in turn, merged with the Democratic Socialist Organizing Committee to form Democratic Socialists of America.

  The new organization took penetration of organized religion very seriously, immediately forming a Religion and Socialism Commission.

Barack Obama and Jim Wallis are Marxists/Socialists with over 25 years of ties to the Democratic Socialists of America. Wallis shares a common ideology with Obama and fervently believes in the redistribution of wealth. It is fair to say that Wallis is one of the most prominent radicals in the US and is now the spiritual adviser to the President of the United States.

Let’s also not forget the tactics of the left attacking Glenn Beck who is one the most popular conservative leaders in the US and who has risked it all to expose Obama’s Marxist ties. Beck pointed out exactly what social justice is and to watch out for it. Wallis was very quick to attack Beck. Don’t fall for it… Beck is a good man of faith and the left and Wallis are twisting his words and trying to smear him. A very typical tactic of the thugs in this administration and by Marxists in general.

Jim Wallis is connected to some of the most radical people in America. He is pushing the ideology of social justice, which is Marxism wrapped in a shiny religious wrapper and it is poison.

Obama will be remembered for his choice of counsel and not warmly I might add… His chickens are certainly coming home to roost.
