The few GOOD parts of this bill, were lobbyed for through the entire process by the Republicans more than the Democrats, I’m sick of the Dem’s touting these few provisions that every one was in favor of, as their accomplishment. It was the other 2000 pages of corruption, bank busting costs and unconstitutional procedures, you know the ones you tried to hide through the whole process, that we objected to. Hell, I have diabetes, and arthritis, so I have a lot more skin in this game than you ever will, considering that we are paying for the best medical coverage in the world for you and your family, (which we all know that you and your colleagues admitted that you would,nt have given up if the rest of us ended up on a government plan) and will for the rest of your life. You had a perfect opportunity to create a bill that would save the life of Marcella’s mother and protect my ability to continue my insurance, etc. but you and your coharts had to turn this into a socialists tool. Don’t even think about giving me another round of talking points, I’ve watched this very closely over the last year, I’ve watched all the cable networks, in fact I recorded almost all of them, and as a lifetime Independent, who has no allegience to either party, I saw through all the particin bull, and listened to the facts, the numbers and the consequences, put forth by the Republicans, and verified by reputible experts, and professionals outside of congress. The Democrats had nothing but promises of HEALTHCARE FOR EVERYBODY, with no legitimate or even truthfull mechanisms to pay for it. If you are a progressive and you believe in a single payer, government run healthcare system, stop acting like a little mouse scurrying around in the shadows and own up to it, and if you’re not then I guess you’re just incredibly ignorant. at any rate, quit using little kids to try and advance your agenda, we both no that the provisions in your bill that would help Marcella’s mom and myself were also in the Republican’s provisions right from the start. but you continue to ignore that, trying to make the Repub’s into the bad guy, to make yourself look better. Let’s see if you can fool the historians.

Yep… we ought to be taking policy cues from a traumatized 11-year-old boy.
Actually, he lays out the Democrat agenda quite nicely…slams Beck for saying government ought not dictate charitable donations, making it sound like Beck—and by extension, conservatives—are greedy and never donate to charity. Of course, this tool fails to mention the fact that almost all effective charity comes from faith-based sources (i.e., churches, generally conservative by nature). Nor, of course, does he mention that those charitable donations go UP when people are allowed to keep their disposable income, rather than having the IRS seize it for the government’s disposal unit. If you listen, though, the whole sneering, condescending, ‘we-know-how-to-use-your-money-better’ tone of the true Democrat comes through loud and clear.
Also, Mr. Tool (D-Washington), please note that the ‘vitriol’ was not ‘directed at an 11-year-old who had lost his mother’, but at Democrat statists like yourself who use his ignorance and grief to ram unconstitutional legislation up our collective rectum.
Can’t wait for November, Jimbo. 11-year-olds don’t vote, so yuk it up while ya can.

If one uses 11 year old children as shields to hide behind, then YOU Mr. McDermott, make them casualties.
So what didn’t the highly vaunted system of medical care so pridefully touted by WA State catch Marcellas’ Mother? Where was his grandma’s community organized group when it came to insuring this little fellow’s mother didn’t fall through the cracks?
While cute and VERY trite, quoting scripture that you yourself have no faith in does very little for your cause.
Lose the bolo tie, you ain’t pulling off the charade.
