In 9 Days: Bart Stupak to Face Giant Blowback for Health Care “Sellout”
Congressman Bart Stupak (D-Michigan) received considerable notoriety for his decision to flip-flop on his stance regarding the health care bill passed by Congress.
And now Stupak will face the voters for his controversial decision as the Tea Party Express heads towards Stupak’s district with THREE tea party rallies in his district which will focus on ensuring his defeat in his re-election campaign for Congress.
Along with the rallies will be a coordinated TV and radio ad campaign targeting Stupak for defeat.
“Bart Stupak sold out his constituents by voting for that awful government-run health care bill. Worse, he sold out the Constitution. Congressman Stupak best call a moving company, because he’s going to need it, as his days in office are now numbered. We’re going to be handing him a pink slip and voting him out of office,” said Mark Williams, Chairman of the Tea Party Express.
The Tea Party Express will hold tea party rallies in Stupak’s district (including tea party rallies in Ironwood, Escanaba and Sault Sainte Marie on April 8th and 9th.

Tea Party Express III: Just Vote Them Out national tour kicked off this weekend in Searchlight, NV where one of the largest political gatherings in Nevada history took place. The Tea Party Express will hold 44 tea party rallies across the nation, featuring conservative speakers, singers, and entertainers. The caravan’s final stop is in Washington, D.C. for the Tax Day Tea Party on April 15th.
