As we reach the most critical stretch of the Tea Party Express III: Just Vote Them Out effort, it’s amazing this movement continuing to grow.

Our crowds keep getting larger and larger, and the media coverage keeps getting better. And now we’re launching an array of TV and radio ad campaigns to defeat the worst tax-spend-bailout Members of Congress.

A lot of people see the great rallies, but don’t quite understand all the work that goes into these events and this national tour. It’s a morning-noon-night initiative. Our staff doesn’t go to bed before 4:00 AM or 5:00 AM and we’re up by 7:30 AM or 8:00 AM – just a few hours later. It’s exhausting.

All of this caught up to me the other day, and two trips to the hospital later I’ve realized that we have to remember that none of us are superhuman, and there are limits to how far we can push the human body. While there are so many incredible and inspirational memories I will take with me from Tea Party Express III, here’s one evening that I’d just as soon forget:

I’m fine now. Tired, and run down, but feeling a lot better.

So why would I push myself too far and run my body down to the point that I’d experience severe breathing problems, combined with dehydration and lack of sleep?

Because I love my country, and I am absolutely terrified at what might happen if Obama-Pelosi-Reid get their way.

The problem of course is there is so much to do. So many fronts we must fight on. When we organized the “Showdown in Searchlight” event we had our staff and volunteers up all night the days before working to make the effort a success – and sitting in Budget moving trucks with the cold, biting wind numbing our hands, noses and ears each time we stepped out to guide cars and RVs into the rally site at 2:00 AM, 3:00 AM, 4:00 AM, etc…

And now we’re planning a massive sweep through Michigan, including 5 tea party rallies in Bart Stupak’s district (the sellout who betrayed his constituents and the Constitution by securing the bloc of votes to pass ObamaCare) and the launching of a $100,000 campaign to “Defeat Bart Stupak.”

Our team here at the Tea Party Express can’t do it alone. We need more help. The biggest priority we have is to turn out huge crowds in Bart Stupak’s district in Michigan. We have national media coming to cover these events – we must once again turn out tea party supporters in huge numbers.

You can find our schedule – HERE.

Find a way to get to our rallies in Stupak’s district in the Upper Peninsula or northern Lower Peninsula of Michigan. And in these next couple of days, please help spread the word.

Post news of the events to message boards. Send out notices of the rally dates, time and locations to your email lists. Again, all the information can be found here: http://www.teapartyexpress.org/tour-schedule-3/

There is strength in numbers, and right now we need you. And I know we can count on you for your continued support. We’re not going to give up. We’re not going to accept anything other than “victory” in our fight to take our country back. And a trip or two to the hospital certainly won’t silence my voice – and I trust you have the same determination and commitment to this cause as I do.

If you can’t make it out to these events April 8th – 10th, then please make a contribution to our $100,000 campaign to “Defeat Bart Stupak.” You can contribute online – HERE.

If you prefer you can make a contribution of as little as $5 to the maximum allowed contribution of $5,000 to our headquarters:
