In late May of 2010, Wellesley, Massachusetts public middle school students took a field trip to the Islamic Society of Boston Cultural Center – a controversial Saudi-funded mega-mosque run by the Muslim American Society of Bostn. There, the students were separated by gender and the boys were asked to join the Muslim adults in their prayer. Several of the public school boys took part.

You’re going to a mosque and you didn’t know that there was going to be some sort of religious activity taking place? Didn’t the people who were in charge of the field trip already know that this prayer would take place as part of the itinerary? Hindsight is always 20/20 but perhaps someone could have found this out ahead of time and given people the choice to opt out. Or is this being narrow-minded and bigoted? I can only imagine that a lot of teachers as well as students were too uncomfortable once the prayer started to do anything but participate. What an awkward situation to have to be in.
Actually,it’s not as shocking or outrageous as you would at first think. These Muslims are merely doing what gullible and “tolerant” people permit them do do. They have never made it a secret that their #1 objective is to convert or conquer “infidels” everywhere.
What is most shocking and totally outrageous is the fact that we are so stupid as to allow this type of maneuvering in our midst, and the fact that were this incident (only 6 months ago) the subject of a Christian church gathering, we would have seen a vocal and seething mass of “secular progressives” immediately rally to their sacred cause of separation of church and state and scream it from every roof top and courthouse available. But a Muslim mosque founded and frequented by known terrorists and Jew haters, are free to proselytize all they want. I believe Dennis Praeger seems to be correct. Liberalism may indeed be a mental disorder.
WHY AREN’T THOSE PINHEADS IN THE ACLU GOING AFTER THESE FOLKS? BECAUSE THE NAME OF “JESUS CHRIST” IS NOT INVOLVED. WHEN THE NAME “CHRIST” IS INVOKED THEY ALL LEAP LIKE FROGS.
I presume this public school has also taken field trips to Christian churches, where the kids learn to pray as Christians do?
And trips to Synagogues and Hindu places of worship and Buddhist temples? Complete with instruction in the proper modes of prayer for those faiths?
Because if those field trips are not *also* happening, then a First Amendment federal lawsuit would seem to be in order, as this is a government institution introducing bias in favor of a selected religion.
