When Chris Coons stated at a debate in September 2010 in Wilmington, Delaware that there was little going on in Washington that he would change, he wasn’t kidding.

CHRIS COONS’ BUDDIES GAIN WHILE DELAWARE TAXPAYERS FOOT THE BILL:
Hurting the people of Delaware is old hat for Chris Coons.
The News Journal reported on 02/14/07 that, as New Castle County Executive, Chris “Coons voted to open a pension loophole that would have allowed County employees to buy into the pension system, or to transfer credit from other government services. He [Coons] saw to it that his buddies and top staff people — and all six of the new County Council Members and their staff — were grandfathered under that loophole which has, and will, cost [Delaware] taxpayers millions of dollars.”
CHRIS COONS VIOLATED A CITIZEN’S RIGHT TO PRIVACY AND HIS RIGHT TO FREE SPEECH:
Chris Coons was sued for using his County position to harass, defame and intimidate attorney Thomas S. Neuberger (Plaintiff), a Delaware citizen who was investigating government corruption.
Excerpts from the Judge’s opinion:
“Plaintiff claims that private medical information was made public in contravention of his constitutionally protected right to privacy and that his ability to engage in protected First Amendment activities has been chilled. As I must accept as true all well-pleaded allegations of fact, I find plaintiff successfully alleges actual and particularized invasions of legally protected interests.”
“First Amendment Retaliation Claims:
Plaintiff alleges that defendants published newspaper ads and released his private medical information to retaliate against him for his exercising his First Amendment rights in two ways: (1) by speaking to the media and public challenging government corruption and illegality; and (2) by filing lawsuits on his clients behalf challenging the same.”
“Fourteenth Amendment Privacy Right Claim:
The privacy right is “the right to be let alone – the most comprehensive of rights and the right most valued by civilized men. To protect that right, every unjustifiable intrusion of the government upon the privacy of an individual…must be deemed a [constitutional violation].”
On page 21 it states, “Individual Defendants claim they are entitled to qualified immunity for all of plaintiff’s remaining claims.”
Although Chris Coons unlawfully released and circulated Mr. Neuberger’s personal medical records, he successfully averted justice by getting off on “official immunity.”
CHRIS COONS’ PERSONAL GAIN FROM CAP AND TRADE: [1]
Chris Coons stands to make millions off of middle and low-income Delawareans through his wealthy family business (Gore-Tex) when, if elected Senator, he helps push through President Obama’s Cap and Trade legislation.
No wonder Chris Coons is Harry Reid’s “pet” and the President and Vice President are campaigning for him.

Chris Coons has proven he’s willing to make tough decisions. As New Castle County Executive, yes he raised taxes, BUT HE CUT SPENDING in his county’s budget. He reduced the local government work force to save money. This fact check even says that “Coons did inherit an administration that was digging into reserves to cover expenses.” Chris Coons did what he needed to do, for the long term, to KEEP New Castle County’s Triple A Bond Rating. Chris Coons has what it takes to be in the Senate. Chris Coons 2010! These partisan attacks won’t work.
By the way his idiot opponent Christine O’Donnell is just that, AN IDIOT!
Here’s what Christine O’Donnell HAS SAID she believes:
Being Gay is “an identity disorder”, believes that “evolution is a myth!” , she thinks that their are scientists who “have developed mice with fully functioning human brains.” Says that “condoms don’t work.” She said to Chris Coons that “when we (meaning America) were fighting the Soviets in the 80’a and 90’s we didn’t finish the job” (in Afghanistan). On top of that, she confuses Iraq with Afghanistan (and Chris Coons had to correct her). When she couldn’t name a recent Supreme Court case she disagrees with, she stupidly says “I’ll put it on my website.”I’m NOT misquoting her. O’Donnell has no record other then NOT THIS STUPID STUFF! Please Delaware Vote for Chris Coons in 2010!

It’s always good to see the kind benevolence of the Coons supporters.No matter what kind of machinations he conceives of to exert governmental control over the lives of citizens,no matter how he works to undermine the finances of the citizens he serves,it’s always’the other guys’ who are the problem.Sounds very presidential,doesn’t he?

Jake, re-write the facts all you want; no one is listening except the extreme Marxists, Socialists and Communists who support Coons.
Coons started with a $200 million surplus and spent it all, grew government, and nearly drove New Castle County into bankruptcy.
His remedy was to raise property taxes 54% and sewer taxes 64%. TAKE MORE from the hard working people of New Castle to cover his lavish and irresponsible spending. That’s the only solution Democrats enact.
The problem with Marxist socialism is that you eventually run out of other people’s money.
Coons forgot to read that memo.
