Teachers start at $60,000. + benefits. They rise in pay scale even if they do a bad job. One of two things hapnd. w/the lottery money here in Ca either it went into the fund for Lottery itself or went to schools who gave themselves huge raises. What does your Superintendent make, what does your average teacher make, check it out, go to school board meetings, make them tell u! Why is it that our kids can’t read and write while ta’s get raises.
