A teacher has the right to defend herself against assault and battery. She had every right to hit the thug. Backing a teacher into a wall is assault. Look it up.

From what I can see from the cell phone video, the student was being the aggressor. He towers over her, he shouts and curses her, trying to intimidate her. Once she got him to back away by punching him, the voice of a female student defends the young thug. Disgusting. Good for this teacher!
