We are now in the final stretch in our campaign to defeat the Democrats’ RECALL campaign against Republican Senators here in Wisconsin.
We have just one last media buy we can place for our advertising campaign in this election. The purchase of TV ads must be made by 6:30 PM Eastern tomorrow – Monday.
Polls show that two races are absolute dead heats. If we win both, we will have stopped the Democrats from taking control of the State Legislature (and being able to totally block Gov. Scott Walker’s agenda). If we lose both, we will certainly have lost. And if we win one, and lose one, it will depend on whether there are any surprise results in the other 4 RECALL elections that take place around the state of Wisconsin on Tuesday.
Bottom line: If we lose then not only will we face the negative impacts in Wisconsin, but we will likely see politicians across the country not willing to take the tough stands that Gov. Walker has. No one will have the political will and courage because they will fear the reprecussions from the unions, the liberal special interest groups and the power of Barack Obama’s political machine.
So we are asking everyone – to give us whatever support you can for these final 24 hours. We have to give it our all. We have to win.
You can contribute any amount from as little as $5 to the maximum allowed contribution of $5,000. TV ads are running at the rate of about $125 – $500 per spot depending on the time of day in the Green Bay and Milwaukee markets (two of the most important in the state). The TV ad rates can run as high as $5,000 for ads to run during certain shows in Prime Time, but we have not yet bought any of these most expensive ads.
In other parts of the states ads average anywhere from $50 per spot to $200 per spot.
So if you can afford to make a contribution of $100 you can have the pleasure of knowing your contribution will help pay for 1-2 TV ads in various parts of Wisconsin ahead of Tuesday’s critical election.
