I’ve been looking at the candidates for weeks, swaying back and forth and I think I’ve finally had enough. It’s depressing… And infuriating… I ask myself – is this it? Is this the best we can come up with as far as candidates? That’s just sad. Here are some thoughts:

1. Romney – Big Progressive on the Right. Big government, big spending – no thanks.
2. Gingrich – Ditto, only worse.
3. Paul – Good on spending and the Constitution, but horrific on foreign policy and Israel.
4. Huntsman – Good on business, but another Progressive on the Right.
5. Perry – A Conservative – socially. Not on illegal immigration. Too much of a mixed bag. Not conservative enough.
6. Bachmann – Constitutionalist – would vote for her in a heart beat.
7. Santorum – Ditto, another good candidate.

The problem is that neither Bachmann or Santorum will get the nod from the GOP. They will almost certainly choose Romney. It is McCain redux all over again and that just pisses me off.

Zombie has written a great post at The PJ Tatler that shares my views. Read it all and vote.

Let me spell this out, I will vote for anyone over Obama. Because if Obama is reelected, as a Constitutional Republic, we will not survive another four years. The US will be toast if Obama wins. Period.

When Ron Paul does not get the nod from the GOP, there is a strong chance that he will break away to a third party. Many will follow Paul because they cannot stomach Romney, instead of voting for the GOP which is our best hope of unseating our tyrant in office. It will be a redux of Ross Perot and Obama will win. Please do not do this. There is far too much at stake.

How I wish that Sarah Palin and/or Alan West would run. Time is running short though and both have said they won’t. We need a hero guys. We need a warrior to save America. In the end, if I have to, I will vote for Romney. I will hate it with all my heart, but he is ultimately preferable to Obama. But each night I pray, that a good, Constitutional candidate that also cares about our military and Israel, will step forward. I suggest you all say a prayer, because things don’t look good right now. Everything is on the line between freedom and tyranny – heaven and hell.
