The Black Robe Regiment

I thought a great deal about how I would wish all of you a blessed Christmas and New Year. It has been a tough year for so many of you out there. Many are scraping to get by and don’t know how in the world they will make it as prices and taxes sky rocket. Many are hungry, some are homeless… My heart is heavy with sadness for America during this unnecessary managed depression.

But despite the want and need, we need to remember that Christmas is not about presents and material items. It is about the King of Peace, who came so that we might be saved. His saving grace is our redemption.

This year our family did away with almost all presents. We have probably the most beautiful tree we have ever had and food, friends and family. For us, it is helping us refocus on our faith and why we are here. For me personally, it not only strengthens my deep, abiding faith in the Lord, but in the fight ahead. Light will conquer the darkness – good always wins in the end. But getting there can be very challenging indeed. I made a promise that I would fight this battle and lay down my life if need be and I will. This last year we lost an important battle, but the war is far from lost. It is in God’s hands and He always has a reason for the way things play out. My faith is stronger than ever in His guidance and in all of you.

So, as we turn to prayer and reflection, then to food and love, I want to take this moment to thank each and every one of you for supporting NoisyRoom this year and helping this Constitutional Conservative fight a fight that will be long and dangerous. I could not do this without all of you. You are a blessing to me and all of us here at NoisyRoom.

Take comfort in your family, your loved ones, your faith… As I write this, we have received about 8 inches of snow over the last week here in Northern Idaho. A silent, white miracle that blankets the pines, the lakes, the farm fields and all that is beautiful where we live. Know that were it in my power, I would personally help each and every one of you. You have my love and my respect.

Merry Christmas and a happy and blessed New Year! May this be a year that we take back America and our freedoms that are God-given.

Reagan, December 12th, 1985:

We do not know the exact moment the Christ Child was born, only what we would have seen if we’d been standing there as we stand here now: Suddenly, a star from heaven shining in our eyes, shining with brilliant beauty across the skies, a star pointing toward eternity in the night, like a great ring of pure and endless light, and then all was calm, and all was bright. Such was the beginning of one solitary life that would shake the world as never before or since. When we speak of Jesus and of His life, we speak of a man revered as a prophet and teacher by people of all religions, and Christians speak of someone greater – a man Who was and is Divine. He brought forth a power that is infinite and a promise that is eternal, a power greater than all mankind’s military might, for His power is Godly love, love that can lift our hearts and soothe our sorrows and heal our wounds and drive away our fears. . . . If each of us could give but a fraction to one another of what He gave to the whole human family, how many hearts could heal, how much sorrow and pain could be driven away.
