Persecution of Religious Minorities in Pakistan – Interview Prior to House of Lords Conference

As we wrote in a previous post, ICLA was recently represented at a conference in the House of Lords organized by the Pakistan Minorities Rights Organization. Unfortunately, we believe that the UK government does not care about the persecution of minorities in Pakistan. This is suggested by the UK’s:

• Continued endorsement of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) which seeks to bring Pakistani style blasphemy laws to the UK and the West.
• Willingness to provide aid that to this nuclear armed violator of human rights.
• Continued persecution of anti-sharia activists within the UK itself.
