Former SEAL Ben Smith on Obama Admin vs. Veterans: They’re using us – want us to do something (video)

Gulag Bound

The Obamunists have been engaged in psyops warfare against our military veterans for years now. It may have even began with the DHS under Bush. Why? (Don’t you know why?)

Video, “Former Navy Seal Ben Smith’s Warning to America! and Oath Keepers at World War II Memorial

“This can be absolutely planned and it’s a conversation topic. They want us to do something. They either want to diminish our voice, or our significance, or draw contact….”

“It’s like a cold civil war out there, for which way the country wants to go…. They’re using us.”

Please make sure you see the entire video and listen to the awake, aware, and alerted Ben Smith. And personally, I suggest:

And I suggest the Gulag category, “Neo-Marxism Planned Mayhem,” including our recent articles on this queer but tactical abuse of our treasured military veterans.

The Dishonoring of U.S. Veterans

By: Susan Knowles
Gulag Bound

This weekend marked the “Million Vet March” in Washington, D.C. The march was comprised of thousands of veterans, young and old, who simply had enough of the Obama Administration’s attempts to keep them out of memorials and other sites owned by the “people” of the United States and earned by the veterans who have served this country.

The crowd reportedly demonstrated and then physically removed barricades that had been ordered by the President to be erected around memorials following the recent government shutdown. The veterans were joined by several Republican Congressmen, including Senator Ted Cruz from Texas and Senator Mike Lee from Utah.

While the group remained peaceful, they were large in number. At some point, the veterans decided to carry the torn down barricades (cleverly renamed barrycades) to the front of the White House where they eventually stacked them against the White House gate. It was a show of frustration by these veterans and a statement to the President that the American people and not the government own the Vietnam Memorial, the Lincoln Memorial, the World War II Memorial and even the White House.

The crowd sang “God Bless America,” other patriotic songs and yelled “Tear down these walls,” a reference to the famous speech delivered by then Republican President Ronald Reagan to then Soviet Union President Gorbachev to “tear down this wall,” referring to the Berlin Wall.

Although, many of the demonstrators at this weekend’s march were elderly and non-confrontational, that did not stop this President from releasing the heavy artillery as a show of force against this unarmed and peaceful crowd. Surely anyone watching the mounted police, officers in riot gear, armored trucks and the like, could see that this was a shameful act of intimidation by President Obama. As you may recall, even though President Obama wanted this weekend’s group of veteran disbursed, he once welcomed Occupy Wall Street’s demonstrators and their long-term camping out in Washington, D.C.

In looking at videos and pictures of the veteran’s event, I was reminded of another shameful show of force against veterans; that of President Herbert Hoover’s use of military force against World War I Veterans in Washington, D.C. in 1932.

Approximately 10,000 veterans “bonus army” and their families descended upon Washington, D.C. to demand that the “bonus certificates” that they had received from the government, be cashed in for money. The government had previously promised that they would honor these certificates upon request. However, because of the Great Depression, the government reneged on its promise.

Even the Senate rejected these World War I Veteran’s demands. After congress adjourned for the summer, the cowardly senators left or sneaked out of back doors and through underground tunnels to avoid the veterans because they knew that their decision would be unpopular. Instead of standing in solidarity with the veterans, like Ted Cruz and Mike Lee, those members in the U.S. Senate in 1932 turned their backs on them.

Like President Obama, progressive President Herbert Hoover also took a stand against the military personnel who had served their country. He too called out the “big artillery” just like Obama, but in his day it was General MacArthur and Dwight Eisenhower. Also, in the ranks was General George Patton.

When the veterans refused to leave because they believed justice had not been served, 200 Calvary men along with 400 Infantry men with tanks, stormed the Washington Mall and tore down tents in their makeshift camps and destroyed their possessions. If that was not bad enough, MacArthur, ignoring orders from President Hoover took it upon himself to also burn down their shacks.

Like Obama, who allegedly retired for the evening during the horrific attacks in Benghazi on September 11, 2012, when four men, including a U.S. Ambassador, called for backup from this President, history also recorded another president, President Hoover, who looked out the window and with full knowledge of the destruction that was taking place went to bed. The American public turned against President Hoover after his disgraceful treatment of the veterans and did not re-elect him.

While President Obama’s acts this weekend did not equal those of President Hoover only history and time will tell whether Obama is willing to take more drastic steps as Hoover once did. Nevertheless, Obama’s recent show of force was equally as disrespectful toward a group of men and women who have served this country honorably.

When will the American public show their disdain against this President as the citizens of America once did against another tyrant president? Or, will history show that President Obama is immune from any condemnation for dishonoring America’s beloved veterans?

Glenn Beck-Blazing The Trail

By: Gerald Loeffers

Yes, it is time for a more lighthearted article after my last three heavy duty ones. This will be a happier article on our favorite self made man, self-admitted rodeo clown, recovering Jack Daniels lover — Glenn Beck. A man who is known by not only the enemies he has made, but by the lives of the many regular people he has touch and changed. A man who went from top 40 radio, to becoming the top rated number three spot talk radio host in the country and who left one uncomfortable gig at CNN to go to FOX NEWS. He then threw all his dice on the table to start up his own network, newsletter, publishing house, clothing line, speaking engagements and company… all within a short three year time period. So, let’s look at the son of a Washington state baker and the trials and success this funny guy has been through, as well as the lives he has touched on so many levels and let’s look at how fast his hair got so gray in the eight short years I have been a fan, lol.

The first time I had heard of Glenn, it was a total accident. I was going through radio station channels one day in 2006 and I found this one guy talking about him and his wife getting adoption paperwork done and how excited they both were about getting their little super hero. I noticed first off he had a different style. Let’s say that of RUSH or of G. GORDON LIDDY.
He had a more personal connection to his audience, whether it concerned a news story or a bit about his day to day life. Glenn was very different. Then I found out he was a Mormon who thought differently on many things and thought outside of the box, which was delightful. I enjoyed his biting wit and his satire of politics. MORON TRIVIA was always a good time. Then one day, I was at my favorite book store and there in one section was Glenn’s first book — THE REAL AMERICA. I had seen it before, but I never made the connection. These days, I have most of his books and can’t wait for his new one coming out next month.

Glenn Beck was born in Washington state. Sorry… I forget which town. His father was a baker who had a small bakery business in town. At age eight, he was taught the value of work by washing pots and pans at the bakery and watching his old man work his magic up front. Glenn has said that his mother had suffered from mental illness and committed suicide, so I won’t get more detailed than that out of respect. He had a pretty incredible grandfather, whom he looked up to and Glenn learned much from him and his values and strengths. It left a lifelong impression with Glenn that would help him out later in life.

Glenn, at the ripe young age of 15, wanted to work in radio. He was enamored with it, so he started on the low rung and worked his way up through many different radio gigs, all the way through the 1980 and 1990s. Glenn got married and had a couple of kids. He moved from one job to the next and during this time things were not going well. He had a drinking problem and experimented with cocaine at one time. He was a bit hard to work with. He talks about how he wasn’t a pleasant guy to be around in this stage of his life. Then something happened to Glenn. It seemed every other radio job he got was with this guy from Texas, who would be his future best friend — PAT GRAY. This guy was a Mormon himself and saw in Glenn the pain he was in. He tried many times to just help him out and let Glenn know he wasn’t alone as he felt. Then Glenn lost it all at once. The drinking was so bad, his wife divorced him. He had just lost a good radio gig and was in a crappy apartment — he was very desperate and was asking himself whether he should live or die. What could he do? And then…

Glenn had decided then and there to pick himself up and change things around, but it was a bit slow. That’s okay… you can’t really clean up over night. One time at a convention of radio broadcasters, as Glenn was at the bar, he saw a woman who would change his life for the better. All Glenn was thinking about… well, he said to himself: “I would like to ask her out. If she says yes, this will be my last drink.” They met there and he put his last drink down for the rest of his life. Then in early 2000, things were looking up for Glenn. He got a radio talk show going and he had converted to Mormonism. A couple of years earlier, PAT GRAY and STEVE (STU) BURGUIERE came to be his dynamic duo from radio to TV and RUSH had even had Glenn guest host his show at one time. How fun that was. Then in 2008, Glenn got a TV gig at CNN HEADLINE NEWS and being the conservative Republican he was at that time, we found out later from Glenn that that was a hellish experience and a black hole of despair for him. His time at CNN was the longest two years of his life and something else changed as well with him when Hillary spoke about being a 20th century “Progressive.” What was that? Even Glenn didn’t know at the time. This is when his started reading history and researching. It would change everything he thought he knew and would change his views years later down the road.

Well, as all things at CNN ended, Glenn got an offer from FOX NEWS, which was an easy thing to decide on. This is where Glenn got serious with the history of America and of the world. He focused on cycles of history and where we are now. He looked at all politicians with a different eye than in times past and noticed that both parties had the same problem, but were offering the same ideas at different speeds. In 2009, I started to do my own history reading and thanks to Glenn, I have so many books on different subjects, I could almost start my own history class. Glenn experienced a funny part of his life when he went on tour with his friend BILL O’REILLY — THE BOLD AND FRESH tour. This showed more and more that Glenn was changing his political views on the Republican Party and their Progressive viewpoints. My personal favorite was his UNELECTABLE show, where he talks about the bull crap candidates think you want to hear and not what you need to hear. Then we found out later that FOX NEWS wouldn’t let Glenn talk about certain subjects or say certain things. That’s like, wow! He drove FOX NEWS crazy with that. Then there was Glenn’s incredible RESTORATION events in DC, ISRAEL AND DALLAS. The usual media decried them all as failures or that Glenn was just crazy. What was true with all these events, is that they brought more people from all walks of life together. More so than our divisive president could ever think to do and the media is also afraid of this. They should be. Now they are losing their viewership faster than a falling rock.

Three years ago, Glenn made the biggest, and I think scariest move, for anyone who could have just played the comfortable gig at FOX NEWS. He stayed there for a long time and played it safe. But Glenn would say later he was being told to “PLAY THE GAME.” You know… take your pound of flesh and then you have dinner with these same people — no harm, no foul. Glenn wouldn’t play the game; he wasn’t there for that. So, as his time with FOX and his contract was running short, he started his own network. As he was planning to leave FOX, he was getting his resources ready to start an Internet broadcast service for news, talk radio, children’s educational shows and other programing — but all on his terms. With his own money and shouldering a few sleepless nights, GBTV was born with plans to expand. This service started out slowly at a reasonable price. I had signed up for GBTV until my last computer crashed. But with my new computer, I am a year long THE BLAZE PLUS subscriber and happily so. The change and unbridled hutzpah of Glenn these days is great! I mean, he’s still funny as hell (Sorry Glenn… I can’t help saying that, but you are.) and the fact that he’s getting 19 million views at THE BLAZE web site and 10 million subscribers to THE BLAZE should scare the media and I am glad about that too. Glenn has been accused of being a Republican operative. I find that funny, because like me, he has changed in so many ways and he is more Libertarian on most issues. Glenn also has an incredible charity group called MERCURY ONE, which does disaster relief, feeds the hungry and does other volunteer work in the service of our fellow men and women. Part of the way he supports MERCURY ONE is with his clothing line, 1791 SUPPLY CO. They carry American made jeans, t-shirts and western shirts that are designed like PAUL NEWMAN’S OWN FOOD line, which pays for his charity foundation. What a great idea!

Glenn has been a tremendous influence on me. I have failed at a history podcast radio show that I was keeping up and running. Well, it was a good 13 week run, lol. Much to the displeasure of my parents, who don’t understand that things are changing around them and one cannot simply ignore it and wish it away. Glenn is always telling us to do our own research and homework; find out for ourselves what is really going on. The more I learn, the more I know what I DON’T know, if that makes any sense. So, are you just going to stand there and do nothing, or are you going to do something to help someone else? Are you going to teach what you know, pass on an idea or maybe mow a lawn at a monument during a convoluted government shut down? I will say that right now, Glenn Beck has walked the walk and talked the talk and has proven that one guy can make the media and politicians shake in their boots and at the same time, bring hope to traditional America… reminiscent of the one he grew up in and the one we as a united America have to work to keep.

Is the Obama administration America’s refining fire?

By: T F Stern
T F Stern’s Rantings

While listening to Rush Limbaugh’s radio program today there was a comment made which rang true in my mind. He talked about a previous caller who said that something about America didn’t feel right. Rush went on to explain his thoughts on the matter.

“I’ll tell you exactly what it feels like to me. You tell me if this isn’t close. It feels like we’ve lost a war to a communist country. It’s almost like there’s been a coup. There’s been a peaceful coup. The media has led this coup, and the Democrats have taken over with popular support. We’re getting policies and implementations and things that were never, ever part of this country’s design and founding.”

The idea occurred to me, almost at the same moment, far too many Americans have little or no understanding of God’s divine intervention here in America. Providence’s hand permitted a small band of farmers and volunteer militia to beat the most powerful army in the world.

Steven Alan Sampson’s thoughts, as recorded in the Christian Statement, mirror my own beliefs.

“As a rule, Americans are ignorant of history. We are at a loss especially when it comes to recognizing the Lordship of Jesus Christ in our own country’s history. The thought that Jesus Christ is Lord over America is enough to trigger all sorts of outcries about civil religion and heresy. But if Jesus Christ is not Lord, who is? Think about it. Then think about this: If Jesus Christ is Lord how does He exercise His sovereign rule over the earth? Does He use the institutions He established to govern our affairs? Does He use Nations? Magistrates? Churches? Families? If so what is our responsibility in each of these areas of government?”

In spite of the recorded thoughts of those who acknowledged God’s hand in our founding to include preserving us against insurmountable odds there are far too many who ignore or dismiss the work of providence in our victories as well as sustaining us through other ordeals.

Students are no longer taught certain aspects of our history, for example they never hear important facts about the Battle of Long Island in public schools because these young minds might learn of God’s divine intervention, providence’s influence which permitted Washington and his troops to escape certain death and a premature end of the Revolutionary War.

Nothing short of a miracle permitted their escape from under the nose of the British who outnumbered and out gunned the militia; but a miracle is exactly what happened.

“Washington did not need to shoot the British the next morning; he just needed to get the hell out of Brooklyn with enough of his army to continue and win the war with. This fog provided him with precisely the time and the cover he needed to successfully sneak all 9,000 of his men into Manhattan while the British sat back and reminisced about this jolly good London weather. It was like Washington shouted, “Cover me!” at God, and God had complied like (the) world’s greatest buddy cop. There was not a single loss of life, and Washington was the last one to leave Long Island … immediately after he snatched his whole army and the Revolution straight out of the British Empire’s back pocket.”

We hear about “deniers” as if it were some kind of pandemic which only affects weak minded malcontents. There are man made global warming deniers, 9/11 deniers, Obama birth certificate deniers and so on.

I’ll take it a step further; add to that list of deniers folks who deny God’s divine intervention in the creation of our constitutional republic. What was the line used by Steven Alan Sampson, “The thought that Jesus Christ is Lord over America is enough to trigger all sorts of outcries about civil religion and heresy”? Modern scripture, which many deny as relevant, supports the idea that Jesus Christ truly is the Creator mentioned in our founding documents.

“And for this purpose have I established the Constitution of this land, by the hands of wise men whom I raised up unto this very purpose, and redeemed the land by the shedding of blood.” Doctrine and Covenants 101: 80

George Washington, in his Farewell Address, casually mentioned, as if it were common knowledge, a nation of individuals tested and victorious because they held, for the most part, similar religious beliefs and social graces which support liberty.

“The name of American, which belongs to you in your national capacity, must always exalt the just pride of patriotism more than any appellation derived from local discriminations. With slight shades of difference, you have the same religion, manners, habits, and political principles. You have in a common cause fought and triumphed together; the independence and liberty you possess are the work of joint counsels, and joint efforts of common dangers, sufferings, and successes.”

In our day we find ourselves mired in an economy which spirals downward toward total collapse, corruption at every level of government to include the highest offices where Marxist communists have infiltrated even the White House, threatening to destroy all we hold sacred and chipping away at the very foundations of our constitutional republic.

How could this have happened?

In a lesson by Lorenzo Snow, former president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, he reminded us that God protects His people.

“In many instances … where the destruction of the people of God seemed imminent, and there appeared no way of escape, … suddenly there arose something or another that had been prepared for their salvation to avert the impending destruction. We find this in the case of the Israelites when led by Moses. When they came to the Red Sea, and the Egyptian army in their rear threatened their destruction, there seemed no way of escape, but at the very moment when deliverance was required, behold, it appeared and they were delivered [see Exodus 14:10–25].”

Elder Snow went on to explain the challenges yet to come.

“So it has been and so it ever will be with us. Notwithstanding our difficulties may appear very great, yet there will be means provided for our escape if we ourselves perform the duties incumbent upon us as the children of God.”

“First we should know that we are the people of God. … It is our business to step forward as did Esther, and be willing to risk all for the salvation of the people. In undertaking her task, Esther said, “If I perish, I perish.” [See Esther 4:3–16.] … But the people of God will not perish. There will always be a ram caught in the thicket for their deliverance [see Genesis 22:13]. …”

If we are to survive, much less prosper as a nation, we will need the help of our Creator. He expects us to follow His commandments and live according to the examples set forth in readily available scriptures. Such a simple formula and yet it is the answer to our ever growing list of challenges.

Christians are laughed at and scorned by the statists among us. Within our government there are those who now teach that Christians are to be considered a terrorist threat; anything to discredit people of faith, God’s people. These are the most dangerous of all “deniers”, those who deny God’s hand in our affairs and go about destroying the foundations of faith in others.

We need to stand firm in our testimonies of the Gospel, live our lives in such a way as to deserve God’s divine intervention in these perilous times. The darkest clouds which seem to have blotted out the light within our nation’s capital are a test of our faith and resolve. Let us rise to the challenge as we’re tested by the Refiner’s Fire once more.
