trokoThe big night is here.

We’ve been living in Iowa for the last several months, watching intently as all the serious Presidential candidates court the wonderful people of the Hawkeye state.

We’ve attended meetings all over Iowa, met several of the candidates, and we’re off to the local Junior High to observe a  Caucus tonight.

Here’s my prediction for the vote tonight based on my contact with people on the ground, the weather forecast ( a mighty blizzard on the way) and a little bit of intuition.

  • Ted Cruz 29%
  • Donald Trump 22%
  • Marco Rubio 14%
  • Ben Carson 8%
  • Rand Paul 7%
  • Jeb Bush 5%
  • Chris Christie 4%
  • Carly Fiorina 3%
  • Mike Huckabee 3%
  • Rick Jantorum 2%
  • John Kasich 2%
  • Jim Gilmore 1%

I’m predicting a good win for Ted Cruz against Donald Trump, based on the momentum I’ve observed the last three days. Up for Cruz, down for Trump. Cruz’s ground game is by far the the best on the GOP side, which will be critical given the looming blizzard. Cruz’s enthusiasm factor has been growing strongly in the last few days. Dr. Ben Carson’s vote has largely collapsed towards Cruz. The same was happening with Rand Paul’s vote, but a very late endorsement by Senator Chuck Grassley may help him a little.

Let’s see if ‘m right. There is so much riding on this..not just for United States, but for every Western nation.

I hope Iowa voters  choose Cruz and the Constitution tonight.
