The Re-Education Camps We Call Universities

By: Cliff Kincaid | Accuracy in Media

The totalitarian attitude on campus hit me in a very personal way on March 30 as I was sitting on an airplane at Reagan National Airport on my way to Albany, New York. I was informed that a campus debate I was scheduled to participate in later that day had been cancelled. I was told to get off the plane and go home.

I believe this is the first time on a college or university campus that a left-right debate has been cancelled because of objections to one side of the debate.

It appears the totalitarian left is so determined to crush the conservative point of view that it had to be suppressed even when a leftist was on the same panel.

My debate opponent, Jeff Cohen, the founder of Fairness & Accuracy in Reporting (FAIR), was taken aback. It was as if the far-left censors on the campus of theState University of New York (SUNY) at New Paltz didn’t think he could hold up his end of the debate.

AIM Editor on Cavuto—on Media Double Standard

Accuracy in Media

Accuracy in Media Editor Roger Aronoff was a guest on “Cavuto Coast to Coast” on April 8 on the Fox Business Network. The topic was how the mainstream media are covering the 2016 presidential candidates.

“It’s a complete double standard,” said Aronoff. “The questions that are asked of Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders just pale in comparison to the treatment that [Ted] Cruz and [Donald] Trump get, and just in general.”

As we have reported, news media elites lob softball questions to Democrat candidates, staging love-ins which provide favorable free coverage for their campaigns. Meanwhile, this same news media have practically nothing but criticism and derision for the Republican candidates.

“Her numbers are so high on [untrustworthiness], as are Trump’s,” said Aronoff. “But, again, it’s always emphasized about Trump and the Republicans, and how unlikeable Cruz is.”

The Panama Papers Scandal Ensnares Hillary Clinton

By: Terresa Monroe-Hamilton

Democratic Presidential Hillary Clinton Campaigns In Pittsburgh

Hillary Clinton is being caught up in the Panama Papers scandal and the Mossack Fonseca leak. Among the information released are revelations concerning Russia’s biggest bank and their connection to the Podesta Group as their lobbyist in Washington, DC. That’s right… Podesta. The CEO, Tony Podesta, is well known within the DC beltway among movers and shakers and he has strong ties to Hillary Clinton. Tony founded the firm in 1998 with his brother John, who is formerly a chief of staff to President Bill Clinton. Next, he was counselor to President Barack Obama. John Podesta is the very definition of a Democratic insider. They are power brokers within the Democratic Party.

The Podesta Group registered with the federal government as a lobbyist for Sberbank, Russia’s largest financial institution. Three Podesta Group staffers were on the registration: Tony Podesta, Stephen Rademaker and David Adams. The last two were former assistant secretaries of state. It should be noted that Tony Podesta is a big-money bundler for the Hillary Clinton presidential campaign, while his brother John is the chairman of that campaign and the chief architect of her plans to take the White House this November.

You might wonder why Sberbank (Savings Bank in Russian) would engage the Podesta Group. As I understand it, they supposedly wanted help with their image. Russia is not exactly known for being honest and untainted when it comes to corruption. More to the point, the Podesta’s were tasked with helping to get sanctions lifted from Russia that were imposed after their aggression in the Ukraine.

This indicates that the Russians have a very good grasp of American politics and that they are seeking to use fellow Marxists to accomplish their goals while providing a facade of respectability. It’s also easy to understand the allure of Sberbank’s money and the Podestas’ greed. That Sberbank or the Podestas wound up in the Panama Papers should be of no surprise to anyone. I would have been surprised if they didn’t. We are talking Russian mobsters and ill-gotten money here.

No, Larry Wayne Lindsey was NOT ‘turned away’ from the Colorado state convention

Larry Wayne Lindsey burning his GOP Registration

Larry Wayne Lindsey burning his GOP Registration

It appears that Trump supporters who have rallied behind Larry Wayne Lindsey have been schlonged.

Lindsey became an overnight sensation after the Trump Report Drudge Report highlighted a video of the wannabe Trump delegate burning his Republican party registration after pro-Cruz political insiders cast him aside. The trouble with Larry’s story is that it is a big fat lie.

Larry did not attend the county caucus, which is where he needed to go in order to get elected as a delegate to the state convention.

Crista Huff, a Republican activist in Colorado writes:

“On Saturday, April 9, 2016, a man named Larry from Douglas County, CO slandered Douglas County (CO) Republicans on Facebook. In that Facebook post, Larry claimed that he went to his neighborhood caucus meeting on March 1st, at which a precinct captain named Jan Morgan had threatened him about being a Trump supporter, with the implication that Trump supporters would not be allowed to be delegates to the April 9th State Republican Assembly.”

After some digging, Crista “learned that this ‘Jan Morgan’ person is not a precinct person in District 3, and might not exist at all…” She writes,

“On Sunday, April 10th, quite a variety of Douglas County caucus attendees, delegates, and Republican Party volunteers were interviewed, to determine exactly what took place. The paper trail was examined, from Larry’s caucus meeting, and from the Douglas County Assembly. None of the gentleman’s story holds water…”
