Patriot Prayer Rally SF
August 25, 2017
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Organizers of Patriot Prayer Rally SF official statement on cancellation of SF event at Crissy Field, Saturday, August 26, 2017
This letter is to inform the media, citizens, Nancy Pelosi, and Mayor Edwin Lee that the Freedom Rally scheduled at Crissy Field Saturday, August 26th, 2017 from 2pm-5pm, has been canceled by Patriot Prayer and the event organizers.
Although our rally was a peaceful event, we have concerns over the safety of people who wanted to attend. The security plan proposed by the Park Service and San Francisco PD fails to provide safety for people attending.
Their plan creates a situation where participants of the rally, and their opposition (Antifa/BAMN/BLM), will be forced to intermingle. We see this is an extreme safety issue. More details on this will be provided at our press conference held at the Alamo Park in San Francisco Saturday, August 26, 2017, starting at 2pm.
All media outlets are requested at the park for more details.

“I never thought I’d be having to prove daily I’m not a white supremacist…” Lindsay Grathwohl, speaker at Patriot Prayer Rally
A group called “Patriot Prayer” is organizing a “Unity & Patriotism Rally” scheduled for Saturday, August 26 at Crissy Field in San Francisco.
With absolutely no evidence, “just about every elected official who has spoken on the issue has labeled the Patriot Prayer a hate group.”
From the local CBS affiliate:
“I’m talking about racists, people who are white supremacists, white nationalists,” said SF Supervisor Sandra Lee Fewer. “People who don’t agree that we should be a sanctuary city, people who do not agree with inclusiveness.”
Supervisor Mark Farrell went so far Wednesday to issue a statement calling the Crissy Field demonstrators Nazis.
According to a local news source kron4,
Thousands of demonstrators are expected to take to the streets of San Francisco this weekend on both sides of the political spectrum.
This all stems from the right-wing group Patriot Prayer’s approval for a demonstration at Crissy Field.
As a result, groups have announced they will counter-protest.
As observed by Matt Vadum at FrontPageMag:
“Predictably, San Francisco’s hyper-politically correct mayor, Ed Lee (D), has denounced the scheduled rally for, in his words, being designed to ‘incite hate, bigotry and violence’ despite a complete lack of evidence that it is being held to promote hate, bigotry, or violence.
‘They will have their rally on federal land because the U.S. Constitution provides all of us the right to freedom of expression,” Lee huffed. “But as mayor of this city, I say: Any message of hate is not welcome.'”
One of the more vile responses to the Patriot Prayer rally has been of people bringing their dogs to “lay minefield of poo for rightwing rally.” According to the Guardian, “Dog owners are said to be stockpiling excrement to carpet the field.”
Counter rallies approved for permits:
- Peace, Love & Understanding – Civic Center
- Come Together – Castro
- Loved Up Mobile Dance Rally – Dolores Park
- Human Heart-Shaped Banner – Ocean Beach
- Calling All Clowns – Fascism is No Laughing Matter – Crissy Field
- Dog Poop Protest – Crissy Field
- RESIST Counter Protest – Crissy Field
- Flowers Against Hate – Crissy Field
- Bay Resistance Brigade Paddle-Out – Crissy Field
Why are some partisan politicians so overtly threatened by a peaceful group demonstrating their First Amendment Rights? Is it, perhaps, because if they allow dissenting speakers, others may question their carefully-cultivated narrative?
Inciting hatred and violence doesn’t belong in California. I’ve called on the park service to deny Patriot Prayer a Crissy Field permit. pic.twitter.com/b1ZgDB978o

Nancy Pelosi wants to ban Patriot Prayer Rally. Her rationale is that “[Y]ou can’t shout ‘wolf’ in a crowded theater. Makes sense.
From the Patriot Prayer Facebook invitation:
Before you accuse Patriot Prayer as being hateful, please find specific examples. You will not find any hate speech, you are being lied to by corrupt politicians. SF is supposed to be a safe haven for minorities. If this is true then please be respectful to the speakers we are bringing in. 3 black, 2 hispanic, 1 asian, 1 Samoan, 1 muslim, 2 woman, and 1 white male. There will also be an opportunity for an open mic for moderate Americans. Love and Peace is the only way to heal this country- so we ask that you do not use hate against us with the intent of fighting hate. We are here to spread a message of love.
SECURITY WILL BE ON LOCK DOWN.

The Mayor’s Response:
Please see the below statement by Bill Roller, National Coordinator for the Constitutionalist group, 2 Million Bikers, standing for the 1st Amendment.
“The 2 million bikers involvement in to rallies came after an event that was posted on the news on March 4. And in that news broadcast, it showed Antifa coming in and beating up old veterans, striking women, and pushing around children. After seeing how Antifa had acted before, when they didn’t like speakers coming to the college, their actions showed us who they really were.On March 4, there was a rally in support of Trump. Now it is not illegal, to rally support behind a fairly elected president. However, Antifa came in for the sole purpose of shutting them down and driving them out. This sickened us in our stomachs, and as a constitutionalist group, we intervened in rallies to follow, to allow freedom of speech on both sides. The truth of the matter is, that if it had been the other way around, we would have been standing on the other side. Now on April 15, there was another rally in Berkeley and this time we were present. It was Antifa who had came in trampled down police barriers, and moved into incite violence. They had the intent of shutting them down, and driving them out of town, as they had done previously.Even FOX News had covered the story incorrectly. They had covered the story as a left rally “show your taxes” for Trump and that we were the aggressors coming in. Nothing could be further from the truth. Now there are several American groups who have been awakened, and do not desire to see the United States become part of a global community, nor a communist/Marxist society. They come to these events, prepared to defend themselves and others however the news states that they come geared up for the purpose of a fight. The truth is they come geared up for the purpose of defense. In Charlottesville, Trump was right, there was good people there. They had came for a rally that was advertised on social media, and prepared for the same usual aggressors to show up. It took one individual, who showed up for other purposes, to label the whole group.FOX News had also got the story wrong. Now Breitbart has put out an article stating that white nationalists are going to be attending a rally in San Francisco that there were two groups, and listed the names of “patriot prayer” and “two million bikers”.In this article the author states that the white nationalists will be rolling down 101 with flags on heading to the rally in San Francisco. This is a twisted story, and the flags displayed coming down Highway 101 are that of a post by the California Valley Patriots, and was for a PGR funeral for LCPL Lenin Priego. Also the fact of 2 million bikers had never committed to going to the rally at all. As a constitutionalist group, we always verify the constitutionality of an event before we sanctify it.This type of reporting, along with politicians like Nancy Pelosi, Ed Lee, and others calling out that white nationalists will be having a rally in San Francisco. The local news channels had stated that a white nationalist militant type, gun toting group would be now attending. Can you find out in the end of the segment that the group they are talking about are the “OathKeepers”.This group has been to several rallies and are composed of previous military veterans, and law-enforcement. The oath that they keep is to support and defend the Constitution of the United States of America. All of this fake reporting is going to be cause for a huge amount of Antifa and other left protesters to come with the purpose of inciting violence in order to drive out the bad people as label by the false narratives. In every event that I have been app, it was the Antifa group that came in and started the violence. At that point every man has a right to protect himself and others. This is what is going on. This irresponsible reporting is only serving the cause to demonize the good people who want to stand up for the constitution and the United States of America.I was very shocked when I saw a supposed conservative group like Breitbart labeling constitutionalist as white nationalist. It has only helped the left’s agenda to demonize those standing up for America, while Antifa gets no denunciation or push-back or label as the local terrorist group that they are.”
If you can support the patriots in Crissy Field, please do so. There is a particular need for people to attend who can document events. This is necessary because the mainstream media will lie and if there is violence, it will be blamed on the Patriot Prayer group. Document everything.
