Update On My Husband’s Cancer Treatment – 06/24/19 – Surgery

By: Terresa Monroe-Hamilton

The time for Garry’s first surgery is now upon us. He will go in at 6 am tomorrow for a colostomy. The surgery should take three or four hours and he will be in the hospital for three to four days. Dr. Wilson is one of the best out there at this kind of surgery and he will operate on Garry first thing tomorrow.

Garry’s red and white blood cell counts are now normal. He has lost more than 70 pounds. His color is good, so is his appetite. His attitude is very good although he’s apprehensive about tomorrow. So am I but I know he will come through this just fine.

Since this was scheduled, a few things have come to light. First off, since the chemo was stopped, Garry has steadily improved. There is still tremendous pain in the bathroom but otherwise, the pain falls off quickly. He has also healed some.

The radiologist is now saying there may not be a CyberKnife surgery on his lung for the tumor. There is an excellent chance the chemo will have taken care of it but they won’t know until another scan is done after the final three chemo treatments. Those treatments will start on July 15th and there will be one every two weeks for six weeks. After that (and if the lung tumor is gone), there will be one final surgery to remove the rectal tumor and seal off below. Surprisingly, the radiologist is now saying the original PET scan was not definitive on the lung tumor. I’m confused but relieved.

We now estimate that we will move back to Nevada in September or October barring any other problems. My wound is now officially healed after six long months, so I am good to go. Our oldest daughter and son-in-law will help us move back.

If you want to help Garry out, one of our daughters put up a GoFundMe page and we have already met our goal – she increased it by two grand to help with final medical expenses and moving. You can donate here. You can also donate on PayPal. My email there is [email protected] or you can use the link on the upper right side of NoisyRoom.net to get there. If you would like to donate some other way, email me at [email protected] and I’ll send you instructions.

Prayers are always appreciated and please pass this along to others on social media. As you know, I was banned on Facebook for being the editor of Right Wing News so I can’t post this there. It would be greatly appreciated. I want to personally thank all those who have given and prayed for us. It means more than all of you know. You were all there for us in our hour of need and I don’t know how to thank all of you.

Garry is going to beat this. He will survive cancer and go on to live many more years by my side. My prayers are being answered and I feel blessed over all of this. Say a special prayer that the surgery goes easy and well tomorrow for Garry – I will be by his side as always.

UPDATE: Garry came through the surgery just fine and is recovering in the hospital. Should be home in a couple of days.

How Many Countries Are Part of the World Communist Movement?

We are often told there are only six “communist” countries left—that is, nations ruled by an openly communist party.

They are China, Cuba, Laos, Nepal, Vietnam, and North Korea. If you define “communist” in the traditional Marxist–Leninist “command economy” way, there is really only one left—North Korea.

However, this approach is deceptive. It totally underestimates world communist power. It misunderstands what modern communism has become.

The real question is this: How do you accurately define the “World Communist Movement”?

The Path to Communism

Clearly, under the old definition—Marxist–Leninist one-party police state, incessant communist rhetoric, and a centralized command economy—communism is almost dead. But this definition ignores basic Marxism and fails to take into account the subtleties of Leninist strategy. It also ignores modern realities and the global balance of power.

Odebrecht Files for Bankruptcy Protection

By: Denise Simon | Founders Code

When a huge global construction conglomerate like Odebrecht ends up in a John Podesta email released by Wikileaks, one should take some notice, right?

Odebrecht, the Brazilian company that is synonymous with corruption, decided to file for bankruptcy protection on Monday after years of graft scandals and trials involving top Latin American businessmen and politicians. Founded in 1944 as a construction company, Odebrecht expanded into the chemical and energy industries to become one of Brazil’s largest conglomerates. It counts among its building achievements the Miami International Airport, the Lisbon metro, and Brazil’s Transnordestina railway. At one point, its global success was seen to have symbolized Brazil’s economic boom.

In part published in 2017:

Odebrecht has confessed to paying $98 million in bribes to the governments of Venezuela’s Hugo Chávez and of his successor Nicolás Maduro over the last decade. If the allegations are true, Venezuela has received the most bribes from the construction group outside of Brazil. Next on the list is Panama with $59 million for which 17 executives and former officials have been charged while President Juan Carlos Varela has been accused. Varela, who had been advocating for proposed charges to be filed, became implicated in February by one of the partners of Mossack Fonseca —the law firm at the center of last year’s Panama Papers scandal —who said Varela admitted to him he accepted bribes from Odebrecht, accusations Varela has denied. Peruvian authorities, similarly to Varela, had been taking aggressive measures to fight Odebrecht-related corruption involving $30.4 million in bribes until their own names became implicated. Toledo, as well as former President Alan García, are being investigated by Operation Car Wash while a third former president, Ollanta Humala, has been implicated by Marcelo Odebrecht himself, but he has not been named in the investigations.

Reparations: Democrats Scam And Insult Blacks Again

By: Lloyd Marcus

Cory Booker, D-N.J., left, talks with author Ta-Nehisi Coates, right, as he waits to testify about reparation for the descendants of slaves during a hearing before the House Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution, Civil Rights and Civil Liberties, at the Capitol in Washington, Wednesday, June 19, 2019. congressional hearing was held on a bill to study reparations for blacks as payback for slavery. Reparations is simply another worm Democrat presidential candidates will put on the hook of their fishing rods to catch black votes.

I am a black man who is proud, grateful, and understands how blessed I am to be born an American. My response to the Democrats’ reparations scam is, “Please stop!”. Please stop telling black Americans that we are crippled, inferior and are helpless children who can only succeed via government handouts, lowered standards, and special concessions. Just stop it!

The Civil War effectively ended slavery in 1863. After eight years of Americans making a black man the leader of the free world, Democrats are absurdly claiming blacks are suffering the negative repercussions of slavery and deserve a check. These people (Democrats) are evil, divisive, race-baiting and race-exploiting con artists.

In Maryland in the early 1950s, my late dad was among a handful of blacks who broke the color barrier to become Baltimore City firefighters. Despite humiliating racism within the fire department, Dad won “Firefighter of the Year” two times. Dad didn’t desire reparations or insulting lowered standards. All Dad and his fellow young black trailblazers desired was an opportunity to compete.

More Executive Action Against Iran

By: Denise Simon | Founders Code

Due to timing, it is assumed rather than a U.S. military strike campaign against designated targets as a result of Iran shooting down a U.S. drone, Cyber Command initiated a cyber operation. The Iranian Revolutionary Guard maintains control of the rocket and missile systems and they have been disabled as the U.S. response. Iran has confirmed the cyber-attack but also says it failed. Iran expected a response by the United States and in advance shut down several radar sites.

The United States has been inside several cyber operations in Iran for a very long time and was ready for a go order. Meanwhile, The US Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) is warning that Iran has been advancing their own cyber operations against select US targets. It is unclear what those targets are.

President Trump spent the weekend at Camp David while Secretary of State Mike Pompeo traveled to Saudi Arabia and to Abu Dhabi while NSC John Bolton is in Israel. Bolton has on his calendar meetings with the Israeli national security and atomic energy officials as the introduction of the coming peace plan proposal dealing with the Palestinians will be introduced in Bahrain.

Trump has signed yet another addition to the sanctions architecture on Iran. There is talk of sanctions relief if Iran is willing to negotiate on key topics including escalating uranium enrichment. So far, Iran has said they will not meet with the United States and will shoot down other aircraft if they impede Iran airspace. The FAA has ordered all U.S. commercial aircraft to reroute outside of the existing Iran airspace buffer zone.
