Rep. Jerrold Nadler, the laughable and communist Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, wrote that President Trump is a threat to the Constitution and should be removed from office, according to the committee’s 658-page report on the articles of impeachment resolution against Trump. The Democrats hate and fear Trump so much that they are going all-in on this sham impeachment to stop him from being reelected. There is not a candidate in their dugout for the 2020 election that has a chance in hell of beating Trump and they know it.

Nadler is simply adding fuel to the fire here. The left’s witch hunt against Trump has energized his base and unified the Republican Party in a way that could not have been previously imagined. You’ve got thousands showing up at Trump rallies when Uncle Joe Biden has trouble rousing a dozen people to show up and listen to his gaffes, watch his bizarre behavior and tolerate his senile rants. It’s just embarrassing for the Democrats and it will only get worse from here on out.

The report itself did not include any new allegations or any actual crimes. Instead, the Dems are claiming that Trump abused his office by soliciting the interference of Ukraine in the 2020 election and then obstructed the impeachment inquiry into his conduct. The transcript of Trump’s phone call proves just the opposite and the Ukrainian president himself denies any of these false allegations. Trump has not obstructed the impeachment inquiry into his conduct… quite the opposite. He has bent over backward to be transparent in all of this. The report is simply a regurgitation of the committee’s closing arguments for impeaching the president. They want him gone because they hate Trump, what he stands for and what he has accomplished. They want a soft coup but Americans won’t stand for it.

“This continued solicitation of foreign interference in a U.S. election, as well as President Trump’s other actions, present a clear and present danger that the president will continue to use the power of his office for his personal political gain,” the report states. Do you know who actually solicited interference in the election? Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. They are once again accusing Trump of what they are guilty of. In my book, both Clinton and Obama are guilty of treason themselves.

From Fox News:

“The report was released at 12:30 a.m. ET., and included a dissent from the committee’s minority that called the case for impeachment “not only weak but dangerously lowers the bar for future impeachments.”

“Trump is accused, in the first article, of abusing his presidential power by asking Ukraine to investigate his 2020 rival Joe Biden while holding military aid as leverage, and, in the second, of obstructing Congress by blocking the House’s efforts to probe his actions.

“The president insists he did nothing wrong and blasts the Democrats’ effort daily as a sham and harmful to America.

“Nadler wrote that Trump should be removed and “disqualification to hold and enjoy any office of honor, trust, or profit under the United States.”

“No Republicans have so far signaled that they will support the articles of impeachment, but a small handful of Democrats who represent GOP-leaning districts have said they may join Republicans in voting against them.

“The minority, headed by Rep. Doug Collins, R-Ga., the ranking member of the committee, wrote that the majority decided to “pursue impeachment first and build a case second.”

“The majority ignored exculpatory evidence but proclaimed the “facts are uncontested,” the minority wrote.

“The facts are contested, and, in many areas, the majority’s claims are directly contradicted by the evidence,” the Republicans wrote. They continued that “not one of the criminal accusations leveled at the president over the past year—including bribery, extortion, collusion/conspiracy with foreign enemies, or obstruction of justice—has found a place in the articles. Some of these arguments are just holdovers from an earlier disingenuous attempt by the majority to weaponized the Russia collusion investigation for political gain.”

“The Republicans also claimed procedural missteps by the majority by not allowing a “minority day of hearings,” despite several requests to Nadler. They called the denial “blatant” and “intentional.” They claim Nadler also refused a request to subpoena witnesses. They wrote that there was a complete absence of “fact witnesses” and the case rested with the testimony from four academics and another with a panel of Congressional staffers.

“The House is expected to vote on the articles next week, in the days before Christmas. That would send the impeachment effort to the Senate for a 2020 trial.”

For Trump to actually be impeached, it would have to clear the Republican-held Senate. That’s never going to happen. For him to never hold office again would require a separate vote from Congress. Don’t believe the lies you are hearing from the left. They would love for it to be true that the House voting for articles of impeachment means that Trump has actually been impeached and that he cannot run for the presidency again, but it’s simply not true.

There are three ways this could go now. Here is the deal in the Senate:

1. The senate could (and probably will) immediately vote to acquit President Trump and there will be no testimony from any witnesses. This would end the national 3-year nightmare and will ensure Trump’s reelection to a second term.

2. We could go through a full trial with Justice Roberts presiding and have a boatload of witnesses. This was President Trump’s preferred option but probably will not occur.

3. We could vote to acquit and hold a hearing after the first of the year on all scandals and include witnesses. This is the option I prefer, but again, McConnell is most likely simply going to push for an end to this through acquittal. This option would expose the dirt on the Bidens in Ukraine and drag Clinton and Obama into the mix as well but the Republicans probably will want this over with sooner than later for the good of the nation.

In their report, Democratic lawmakers contend that President Trump committed “multiple federal crimes” worth at least 20 years in prison. That is so outrageous it is just laughable.

According to Politico, in the 169-page report, Democrats allege that Trump committed the criminal acts of bribery and wire fraud, which are addressed under the remarkably vague first article of impeachment, “abuse of power.” The latter crime, they note, carries a 20-year prison sentence. But again, this is not included in the actual articles of impeachment because it simply did not happen and they can’t prove it.

These people have changed the charges against Trump over and over and over again. Now, this. It’s moronic in the extreme.

It’s so bad that Congressman Jeff Van Drew of New Jersey is now switching from the Dems to the Republicans because he’s so disgusted by this whole spectacle. And many Democrats feel that way too. They’re sickened by this evil charade as most of America is.

The report goes on… “Although President Trump’s actions need not rise to the level of a criminal violation to justify impeachment, his conduct here was criminal,” Democrats on the committee argue.

“The Framers were not fools. They authorized impeachment for a reason, and that reason would have been gutted if impeachment were limited to crimes,” they continue, specifically justifying their decision to not name specific crimes in the articles of impeachment.

Trump’s behavior, they add, “betrayed the people of this nation” and was indeed “both constitutional and criminal in character.”

Via TheBlaze:

“In the 18-page dissent, Republicans, led by Rep. Doug Collins (R-Ga.) slam the Democrats’ articles of impeachment as “vague,” “hyperbolic” and “misleading,” Politico reports.

“Republicans also slammed Democrats for not offering any articles of impeachment that allege specific crimes.

“While individual articles of impeachment have been passed against prior presidents that do not allege criminality, no president has been impeached solely on non-criminal accusations,” Collins writes.”

More:

“Since filing articles of impeachment last Tuesday, Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee have been sharply criticized for not naming specific crimes, failing to match the constitutional standard of “high crimes and misdemeanors.”

“Instead, after months of public criminal accusation, Democrats decided to file two vague articles of impeachment — abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.

“The “abuse of power” article, they have maintained, constitutes the highest crime and can include specific crimes such as bribery, but that argument has not been particularly convincing to Republicans.

“Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) later struggled to answer why “bribery” is missing from impeachment articles.

“Where is the crime? That’s what we’ve been asking the whole time,” House Judiciary member Rep. Mike Johnson (R-La.) said, according to Roll Call. “I think it’s an indication that they’ve committed political malpractice.”‘

Exactly. All their credibility is gone over this and frankly, all of them should be removed from office after this kind of totalitarian behavior has come to light.

The House is expected to conduct a floor vote on the articles of impeachment Wednesday. I think we all know how that will go. On to the Senate then… and we’ll battle it out on the 2020 political playing field. Trump already has this won, so brace yourselves with popcorn and snacks for the leftist tears to come.
