Secretary of State Mike Pompeo Goes On The Hunt For Leakers At The State Department

By: Terresa Monroe-Hamilton

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has had it with leakers in the State Department and he’s officially going on the hunt to flush them out and take them down. It’s about damn time someone did this. Frankly, if it were me, I’d gut the entire State Department and do a reboot with tough background checks and interviews. That’s probably the only way to ensure that you get rid of the traitors in our midst. Anyone who was an Obama acolyte should be already gone.

Recent media reports show that more classified and unclassified information is leaking out of the State Department and Pompeo is ticked, as he should be. Pompeo has his senior aides that he trusts researching who is up to no good under his command. A State Department spokeswoman, Heather Nauert, just recently held a public affairs meeting to go over the leaks. This came about after an article broke at the Associated Press reporting that Brett McGurk, who was a Special Presidential Envoy appointed under Obama, would remain on the job for another six months. That’s not acceptable and bears looking into. “There were a couple of articles that pissed off Pompeo,” a source familiar with the meeting told Axios. “One was an article about McGurk. Another about slow-rolling Palestinian funding.”

The investigation kicked off with State Department employees having their phones examined for leaking phone calls and texts. I would wager their email was also gone over as well. Remember, Pompeo was with the CIA and if anyone can ferret out leakers, it would be him. When stories started leaking about internal matters, he was shocked and took action almost immediately. Some of the leaks were discovered when reporters attempted to confirm information they received from overseas sources.

Now comes the whining from State Department employees to the media. Some of them ran to Axios and said that Pompeo’s response was heavy-handed and unwarranted. No, it’s the exact right thing to do. It’s what Tillerson should have done from the beginning and it is what John Bolton is also doing currently. He brought in his own people that he trusts to solve the leaking problem on his end. Pompeo is no fool and he won’t stand for this continuous leakage in the State Department. “They’ve gotten diplomatic security involved in the leak investigation — the internal security of the State Department — which is bananas,” a source told Axios. “These are the people who stand outside diplomats’ doors when they sleep overseas.” Sounds to me as though someone is afraid of getting caught and has something to hide.

Nauret made no bones about it with Axios. She said that the unauthorized release of information, whether it’s classified or not, is always a concern. “It can jeopardize ongoing operations and negotiations in which the State Department is involved,” Nauret stated. “Also, Diplomatic Security doesn’t ‘stand outside diplomats’ doors. DS is the security and law enforcement bureau for the entire agency. Their mission is to provide a secure environment for the conduct of U.S. foreign policy.” Well said and she put down that whining very nicely.

Another senior State Department official said that leaks on internal deliberations “have a debilitating effect on our prosecution of foreign policy.” That’s exactly right and they are a national security threat as well. “Most diplomats working on these issues support any effort to ensure our messages are appropriately controlled and coordinated through official channels,” the source said. And those that don’t are about to be purged.

Not only is this the right thing to do, it should be done in every agency and department we have. Others should follow the lead of Pompeo and Bolton. Those that are found leaking information should not only be fired, but prosecuted. Let these people know there are consequences for treacherous acts under President Trump and his administration.

Radical Georgia Commissioner Takes Oath of Office With Black Power Fist And Hand On Malcolm X Bio

By: Terresa Monroe-Hamilton

Nestled in the heart of northeast Georgia lies Athens-Clarke County. Georgia has elected a stone-cold racist, radical Marxist to office who took the oath office not on a Bible, but on Malcolm X’s bio while giving a Black Power Fist salute. Mariah Parker is 26 and a hip-hop artist. She won her race by just 13 votes last month. Every vote does indeed matter and shame on Georgia for putting a communist and a racist in office.

Mariah Parker with her right fist raised, placed her left hand on the biography of the controversial Nation of Islam leader who was gunned down in 1965. Parker’s mother proudly held the worn paperback as Parker took the oath of office for the Athens-Clarke County Commission. She then took her seat among the other commissioners. The vote was 638 to 625 and took place on May 22nd.

Parker is also a Georgia doctoral candidate in linguistics and is also known by her hip-hop stage name, Lingua Franca. “My platform centers around economic and racial justice,” Parker told the Red & Black. “The policies of this town have been structured, deliberately, to ensure that a certain class of people will continue to thrive and a certain class of people will continue to not.” So, it wasn’t that the voters weren’t told exactly what this young comrade intended. They either didn’t care or didn’t take it seriously enough.

Parker told the Flagpole that the local black community suffers from lack of resources. “The racists have all the money, still, so it’s economically advantageous to cater to them,” she added to the Flagpole, which noted Parker’s top priority as a commissioner is earmarking 30 percent of Athens’ contracts for black- and Latino-owned companies. Tell me how that isn’t racist? Not to mention Marxist. Well done Georgia… you really screwed the pooch on this one. And it wasn’t just one ‘progressive’ candidate either.

From OnlineAthens:

Kelly Girtz took a commanding lead early and held it in voting for mayor in Athens-Clarke County Tuesday.

Voters ushered in what looks like a new era for Athens-Clarke County on Tuesday, setting the stage for a radically different local government come January, led by the man at the top of the ticket: Kelly Girtz.

Girtz took a commanding lead early and held it in voting for mayor Tuesday. In unofficial results, Girtz got 10,913 votes, 60.4 percent, nearly double the 5,495 total for Harry Sims and far outdistancing Richie Knight’s 1,658.

Girtz, the candidate favored by local political progressives, will preside over an Athens-Clarke Commission with a decidedly more progressive look as well.

The new commission will be more representative of Athens, said District 3 Commissioner Melissa Link, who easily won re-election.

“It’s a real sea change,” said Link after cruising to a second four-year term.

The progressives not only won, but most with big margins. In two races where runoffs seemed likely, the candidate endorsed by the Athens for Everyone organization got more votes than two others combined.

“I was surprised,” said Russell Edwards, who turned back two other candidates for the District 7 seat being vacated by Diane Bell. He had prepared for a runoff, holding much of his campaign back in anticipation of another round.

“I was prepared for a runoff, but we ran a solid campaign,” said Tim Denson, who defeated Jared Bailey, the incumbent, and Danielle Benson for the District 5 commission seat. “I definitely thought winning outright was a possibility; I wasn’t shocked by it.”

Link trounced challenger Tony Eubanks, 1,238 votes to 514, while in District 1, challenger Patrick Davenport unseated incumbent Sharyn Dickerson 1,531 to 1,100, according to unofficial results posted on the Georgia Secretary of State website.

In District 5, Denson got 51.9 percent of the vote to win, tallying 1,198 votes against 567 for Bailey and 543 for Benson.

District 7 winner Edwards took 700 votes, more than Carl Blount (421) and Bill Overend (132) combined.

Ovita Thornton easily turned back Tommy Valentine for the District 9 seat that Girtz is vacating, 748 to 441.

In the special election for Harry Sims’ unexpired term in the commission District 2 seat, Mariah Parker narrowly edged Taylor Pass, 638 to 625.

Looks like Georgia should have heeded Trevor Loudon’s warnings.

Girtz and all of the six winning commission candidates had been endorsed by Athens for Everyone, a group Denson and others formed several years ago to advocate for a more progressive agenda in Athens. They also wanted to get progressive candidates into office. Guess who they are connected to? That’s right… Democratic Socialists of America.

The Root is thrilled:

Parker also takes her place in a burgeoning movement of black, progressive candidates who eschew neoliberalism and embrace the so-called radical politics of economic and social empowerment for marginalized communities, aka power to the people.

The tattooed Parker ran as an unapologetic left-wing progressive saying, “It’s time for bold, progressive leadership in Athens.” “They asked if they would like the Bible and I said no. My mother asked if there was a copy of the Constitution around. No,” Parker told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “I wanted Malcolm’s book. I think they saw it coming,” she said. Ya think?

Parker added that Malcolm X is her role model:

Having seen the transformation of someone who came through a difficult background to become vocal and push conversations on race in a radical way is powerful. Then he shifted course and saw race in a different lens as he got older. And the fact that he was arguably killed for his politics. These are things that I want to embrace.

Malcolm’s willingness to uneditedly speak about black people at large, are qualities that I want to embody. To speak out when I see things going wrong.

Per PJ Media, the issues page of her website demonstrate just how far left her ideas actually are. She advocates for fare-free public transit and seeks to add full sidewalks and bike lanes to every street in Athens-Clarke County. She pledges to push for “affordable housing” throughout the county, all while somehow keeping property taxes from going up.

Her question-and-answer session with Athens for Everyone reveals even wilder leftist positions. She favors a ban on single-use plastic bags and rails against the student apartments that have sprung up all around the UGA campus. She has declared war on the state policies that, in her own words, hurt “working women and LGBTQ communities– groups to which I also belong– as well as on Latinx, immigrant communities, and the disabled.” Discrimination and poverty are her largest pet issues, as evidenced by the closing statement in her Athens for Everyone interview:

Though my every policy position is oriented toward the alleviation of poverty, people of color have been purposefully kept poor by discriminatory practices and unjust economic policy, thus the end of poverty and discrimination are inextricably intertwined as my two most important foci as commissioner.

Which is ironic, because she is a racist that hates not only white people and the wealthy who have earned what they have, but police officers as well. When she speaks of discrimination, she is only referring to everyone who is not white. These are the leaders that the Democratic Socialists of America are pushing on Americans and if we don’t fight back, they will be our new Marxist overlords. “Power to the people!” my ass. More like, “Communism for all!”

Iranian Officials Admit To Facilitating 9/11 Attacks

By: Terresa Monroe-Hamilton

AP Photo/Gene Boyars, File

It sucks to have been right all these years. I was in Phoenix when 9/11 happened and I will never forget weeping as I saw the towers come down while almost 3,000 Americans perished that day. Now, in the cold comfort of knowing I was right when it happened, Iranian officials have now admitted to facilitating the 9/11 terrorist attacks on that bright, sunny Tuesday morning in September, 2001. They secretly aided the al Qaeda operatives who eventually went on to fly commercial airliners into the Twin Towers in New York City, according to new remarks from a senior Iranian official. This is a poke the American badger moment because we pulled out of the Iranian deal and in the mullahs’ arrogance, they are admitting the murderous truth. Why? Because war is coming between our nations and they don’t care anymore.

According to the Washington Free Beacon, Mohammad-Javad Larijani, an international affairs assistant in Iran’s judiciary, disclosed in Farsi-language remarks broadcast on Iran’s state-controlled television that Iranian intelligence officials secretly helped provide the al Qaeda attackers with passage and gave them refuge in the Islamic Republic, according to an English translation published by Al Arabiya. “Our government agreed not to stamp the passports of some of them because they were on transit flights for two hours, and they were resuming their flights without having their passports stamped. However their movements were under the complete supervision of the Iranian intelligence,” Larijani was quoted as saying. You do get that this admission is an act of war, right? I’m sure President Trump does, or at least he should. You can bet that John Bolton does.

The remarks represent the first time senior Iranian officials have publicly admitted to aiding al Qaeda and playing a direct role in facilitating the 9/11 attacks. The U.S. has long suspected and accused Iran of being part of the attacks. We have fined the Islamic Republic billions over it. That does not even come close to justice here. And do I need to remind Americans that Barack Obama and John Kerry gave billions to the Iranians and got nothing in return for it? They never meant to stop their nuke program or their terrorism… that money funded both and those two will never get the blood off their hands over it.

Larijani admitted that Iranian officials did not stamp the passports of the al Qaeda militants in order to obfuscate their movements and prevent detection by foreign governments. Al Qaeda operatives were also given safe refuge in Iran. I have said from the very beginning that was the case. I have also said we should have hit Iran rather than Iraq first. If we had, the world would be a lot safer today. “The Americans took this as evidence of Iran’s cooperation with al-Qaeda and viewed the passage of an airplane through Iran’s airspace, which had one of the pilots who carried out the attacks and a Hezbollah military leader sitting [next to] him on board, as evidence of direct cooperation with al Qaeda through the Lebanese Hezbollah,” Larijani was quoted as saying in the May 30 interview, which is gaining traction on social media.

From al-Arabiya:

Despite that, Larijani, who is the secretary of the judiciary’s so-called High Council for Human Rights, which is accused by international human rights organizations of violations and cover-ups, in Iran, confirmed that al-Qaeda members were in permanent contact with Iran’s intelligence ministry and that they used Iran in their flights to Afghanistan and other countries.

Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the architect of the 9/11 terror attack, previously alleged several highjackers transited through the Islamic Republic to Afghanistan because Saudi passports were rarely stamped.

These remarks could possibly serve as further confirmation of the 9/11 Commission’s findings on Iran’s involvement in the attacks.

According to the Washington Free Beacon, who broke the story, the U.S. government has not formally commented on the interview, but did highlight it in an official tweet from the State Department’s Arabic-only Twitter page. The leaders in Iran are consummate liars, but this has the feel of bitter truth. The question is, does Iran feel lucky with President Trump at the helm and Mattis leading the military? And will we at long last cut the head off the Iranian snake and be done with them? Boy, I hope so and soon.

First Cuba, Now China? US State Dept. Reports An American Falls Ill After ‘Abnormal’ Sounds

By: Terresa Monroe-Hamilton

It’s happened again… this time in China. An American government employee who is stationed in southern China is now showing signs of possible brain injury after reporting disturbing sounds and sensations, the State Department said on Wednesday. This is eerily similar to incidents out of Cuba. When they first started happening in Cuba, I said that it was some type of weapon, probably from the Russians or the Chinese and here we are. This employee is suffering now from the same ailments as the individuals in Cuba experienced. The question is… we removed most of our diplomats from Cuba over this, will we do so in China?

The State Department warning was issued through the United States Consulate in Guangzhou, a city in southern China. Americans were advised to seek medical attention if they felt similar symptoms. No other cases have been reported… yet. Someone is obviously targeting American diplomats and it is happening in countries that are unfriendly to us. They are using our people as guinea pigs. “A U.S. government employee in China recently reported subtle and vague, but abnormal, sensations of sound and pressure,” the health alert said. “We do not currently know what caused the reported symptoms and we are not aware of any similar situations in China, either inside or outside of the diplomatic community.” You can bet they know exactly what is going on here and aren’t saying.

The employee, who was working in Guangzhou, “reported experiencing a variety of physical symptoms” from late 2017 until April, Jinnie Lee, a spokeswoman for the United States Embassy in Beijing, said in an emailed response to questions. So, this has been going on for awhile in tandem with Cuba. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo told the House Foreign Affairs Committee on Wednesday that medical teams were heading to Guangzhou to address the issue. “The medical indications are very similar and entirely consistent with the medical indications that have taken place to Americans working in Cuba,” he said.

This does not bode well for our relations with China. Yesterday, North Korea wobbled on the summit meeting with President Trump. It’s rumored that China and Iran are behind the change of heart there. And now the Pentagon has disinvited China from an international military exercise over its militarization of islands in the South China Sea.

The American embassy in China was told today “that the clinical findings of this evaluation matched mild traumatic brain injury,” according to Ms. Lee, who said she could not reveal any more details to protect the employee’s privacy. Mild traumatic brain injury can show up as headache, dizziness, nausea, poor memory and a general foggy sensation. The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs did not immediately answer faxed questions about the ill American, but Pompeo said the Trump administration had asked the Chinese government for assistance in an investigation, “and they have committed to honoring their commitments under the Vienna convention.” Sure they have, just like the Cubans did.

The Vienna convention requires that countries protect diplomats stationed in their nations. Of course, everything is ruled by plausible deniability, isn’t it? So far, our government is not accusing the Chinese of foul play here. But I think it is pretty clear they are suspected of it. Americans already bristle at dealing with communists… this isn’t going to assuage anyone’s trepidation over trade, military dealings or sovereignty. Both countries where the attacks have taken place are communist.

In late 2016, diplomats posted to the United States Embassy in Havana began complaining of hearing strange, wrenching noises and suffering symptoms like headaches, dizziness and loss of hearing. A total of 24 Americans were confirmed as suffering from the attacks, most of them diplomats and some diplomats’ spouses. We still don’t know the cause, but I contend it is sonic weaponry of some sort. The United States has expelled at least 17 Cuban diplomats to underscore its view that Cuba bears some responsibility. Will we follow suit with the Chinese? Unlikely as they hold a ton of our debt. Cuba and China of course are denying any involvement… it’s the Schultz defense… “I know nothing!”

Senator Marco Rubio frequently dismissed the notion that Cuba could have been unaware of what American diplomats termed an “attack.” “The idea that someone could put together some sort of action against them, 24 of them, and the Cuban government not know who did it, it’s just impossible,” Rubio said in a Senate hearing in January. I could not agree more. Rubio also joins in my belief that Russia or China are behind these attacks.

Approximately 2,000 US employees are stationed in China. Diplomats based in the country are probably among the most closely watched by Chinese security services. The Chinese fear spies because that is what they do. The State Department is not taking chances. “While in China, if you experience any unusual acute auditory or sensory phenomena accompanied by unusual sounds or piercing noises, do not attempt to locate their source,” the notice from the consulate said. “Instead, move to a location where the sounds are not present.” Yeah, that’s not exactly helpful or proactive. I suggest they find the source and fast before it’s used on our military or an American population center.

US Air Force Jets Intercept 2 Russian Nuclear Bombers Off Alaska Coast

By: Terresa Monroe-Hamilton

The US danced in the skies near Alaska on Friday with Russia. Russian nuclear forces dispatch two strategic bombers into the air defense zone near Alaska and the aircraft were intercepted by American F-22 jets, the US Northern Command said. Two Tu-95 Bear bombers breached the 200-mile Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ) over the Bering Sea near the Alaska coast early Friday, said Navy Capt. Scott Miller, chief spokesman for Northern Command and the US-Canada North American Aerospace Defense (NORAD) Command.

“At approximately 10 a.m. eastern time, two Alaskan-based NORAD F-22 fighters intercepted and visually identified two Russian TU-95 ‘Bear’ long-range bomber aircraft flying in the Air Defense Identification Zone off the western coast of Alaska, north of the Aleutian Islands,” Miller told the Washington Free Beacon. He also stated that the Russian nuclear bombers did not enter sovereign US or Canadian airspace. That’s funny, because multiple sources say they came within 55 miles of the Alaskan coast. One thing is certain, the Russian bear is poking us, prodding our defenses. Miller stated that there was no unusual activity related to the encounter and there were no communications between the F-22s and bombers. Except the encounter itself was unusual, unless of course this is Cold War part deux.

The bombers were flying in international airspace and “flying according to international norms,” Miller said. “NORAD continues to monitor all air activity emanating from within and outside North American airspace,” he said. I’m not exactly comforted by that. Sorry. No further details were provided concerning the Russian interlopers. This is obviously part of a pattern of Russian nuclear coercion aimed at the United States.

“Putin’s Russia is in the nuclear intimidation business and is willing to burn a lot of unnecessary bomber fuel, not to mention the cost of refueling and additional maintenance hours resulting from the long flights just to make that point,” said Mark Schneider, a former Pentagon strategic weapons expert. “Threatening people with nuclear weapons is Russia’s national sport.” So true.

Just over a year ago, two Bear bombers flew inside the ADIZ near Alaska and were accompanied by two Russian Su-35 Flanker fighter jets. Just a note… Alaska is the home of the Pentagon’s strategic missile defense interceptor base at Fort Greely, Alaska, about 100 miles southeast of Fairbanks. It’s a prime target for the Russians if we go to war. US missile defenses irritate Putin and he is butt-hurt that we are globally deploying them to counter Russian missiles. Of course, we counter stating that our missile defenses are not targeting Russian forces, but are designed to counter North Korean ICBMs and future Iranian long-range missiles. In fact, they are meant as a deterrent to a number of enemies, such as North Korea, China, Iran and yes, Russia. The Russkies are not and never will be our friends.

Fort Greely houses most of the 44 long-range Ground Based Interceptors capable of knocking out intercontinental ballistic missiles. Other GBI interceptors are deployed at Vandenberg Air Force Base, CA. Bear bombers are equipped with KH-55 air-launched cruise missiles as well as two of Russia’s newer and more potent cruise missiles, the conventionally-armed KH-101 and the nuclear-tipped KH-101. They actually practiced simulated missile strikes against our sites in Alaska in June of 2012 as a part of a major strategic nuclear forces exercise.

Some of Russia’s recent flights have been protected by fighters and others have not. “Irrespective of this, my perception is that the bomber ‘combat patrols’ as Putin called them when he started them in 2007 are not realistic training for attack but rather nuclear intimidation flights,” Schneider, a former Pentagon official, said. Right… but I might point out they are one and the same in the end. “When you have nuclear-armed KH-55, KH-102, and nuclear capable KH-101 cruise missiles with ranges from thousands of kilometers to about 5,000-kilometers, it makes no sense to fly the bombers close enough to be intercepted,” he said. It does if you have a weak enemy and you need to test them on a regular basis to see what they respond with.

The reason Russian military forces conducted ADIZ intrusion flights is that if they stayed further away there would be no “intimidation effect” and probably no new coverage of the flights, Schneider said. Earlier this month, a Russian Su-27 fighter jet made an unsafe intercept of a Navy P-8 surveillance aircraft over the Baltic Sea. The Su-27 flew within 20 feet of the P-8.

Last week, it was revealed that the US is re-establishing its Second Fleet, responsible for the northern Atlantic Ocean, nearly seven years after it was disbanded as the Pentagon puts countering Russia at the heart of its military strategy. The reason for that is Russia in the Arctic and possible war.

“Our National Defense Strategy makes clear that we’re back in an era of great power competition as the security environment continues to grow more challenging and complex,” Chief of US Naval Operations Admiral John Richardson said last Friday. “Second Fleet will exercise operational and administrative authorities over assigned ships, aircraft and landing forces on the East Coast and northern Atlantic Ocean,” Richardson said. The command, which will be based in Norfolk, Virginia, will initially have 15 personnel and will eventually grow to over 200 people, officials said.

Keep telling us there’s no threat here. And they’ll do that until the first attack comes. With war on the horizon, that may be sooner than later.

Israeli Defense Minister Lieberman: ‘We Hit Nearly All The Iranian Infrastructure In Syria’

By: Terresa Monroe-Hamilton

The war between Israel and Iran seems to have begun and the U.S. is strongly standing by the Israelis, thanks to President Trump. Just a day after Trump announced we were pulling out of the catastrophic Iran deal, Iranian Al-Quds forces based in Syria reportedly launched rockets at Israeli forces in the Golan Heights. Israel responded with its most extensive military operation in years and what the IDF described as its largest strike against Iranian targets.

Israel’s unprecedented Thursday counter-strike on Iranian infrastructure in Syria, following the Islamic Republic’s own brazen rocket attack on Israeli military positions, brought the war-making capabilities of both Middle Eastern countries into stark relief as already simmering tensions begin to reach a boil. The pre-dawn barrage flattened Iranian military compounds, intelligence facilities and munition warehouses in Syrian territory.

Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman said at a security conference that Israel had launched a counter-attack against Iran’s Al-Quds forces that took out “nearly all” of Iran’s military infrastructure in Syria. They hit just about every facility after Iran launched 20 rockets at Northern Israeli military installations. It was an epic smack down. “We hit nearly all the Iranian infrastructure in Syria,” Lieberman told the conference, AFP reports. “I hope we’ve finished this episode and everyone understood.” I doubt that, but what isn’t in doubt is that Israel will preemptively fight back with all they have.

Thanks to communists such as Obama, Clinton, Kerry and Power, Iran now has a straight path through Syria to try and encircle Israel. Yesterday was a preview of Israel’s tremendous military presence and response. The strike followed what Israel reports were 20 of either Fajr or Grad rockets fired by Al-Quds forces at Israeli forces in the Golan Heights around midnight. The IDF says that four of the rockets were intercepted by Israel’s anti-missile system; the other rockets failed to hit their intended targets and no Israelis were wounded. Good news all around.

Iran, during the Syrian conflict, has been trying to secure a steady land corridor from its border to the Mediterranean to help Hezbollah – a terror group it backs in Lebanon – and Syrian dictator Bashar Assad. Iran has also stationed increasing numbers of its Revolutionary Guard unit in Syria to bolster its aims. “The use of the corridor is probably intended above all for the movement of troops to Syria to further assist in stabilizing the Assad regime,” it said. “However, at a later stage, or in parallel, the corridor can strengthen Hezbollah’s capabilities against Israel – and perhaps those of other Shiite militias currently stationed in Syria – and thereby intensify Iranian deterrence and the threat to Israel.”

It added: “The delay in operating the corridor is likely due not only to the continued fighting in some of the areas, but also to the Iranians’ fear of attacks on convoys by the United States and/or Israel, as well as by Sunni elements, the Islamic State, and organizations opposed to Assad.”

“If confirmed, the incident would be the first time Iran had sought to directly attack Israeli-controlled territory aside from an alleged attempted drone attack in February,” AFP notes. It undoubtedly won’t be the last. I say bring it and Trump will find a way to help Israel regardless of Congress. This fight is long overdue and I hope they wipe the mullahs off the face of the earth. No apocalypse for you boys and your Mahdi can go know himself.

In response, the Israeli military says it struck around 70 military targets overnight, a raid the IDF described as its largest assault on Iranian targets and the force’s biggest operation in years. According to a monitor, 23 enemy fighters were killed as a result of the strikes, while the IDF reports that all of the Israeli aircraft returned safely. I call that sweet and righteous revenge.

The bombardment led to immediate calls for restraint from Russia, France, Germany and Britain, while the United States put the blame squarely on Iran and stressed Israel’s right to “self-defense.” Germany and Britain joined the United States in denouncing the rocket fire they also said came from Iran, while France reiterated its “unwavering support for Israel’s security.” In a rare, if not unprecedented move for an Arab country, Bahrain backed Israel’s right to “defend itself” after the strikes.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Iran had “crossed a red line” and that the resulting bombardment “was a consequence.” And Netanyahu does not bluff. He keeps his word. Iran has made no comment other than to claim they have no installations in Syria, which is a bald faced lie as usual. “We know that comes from the Al-Quds force,” army spokesman Lieutenant-Colonel Jonathan Conricus said, referring to the special forces unit affiliated with Iran’s elite Revolutionary Guard.

As I understand it, Netanyahu had traveled to Russia and warned Putin something like this was coming and to get his people out of the way. A warning to Netanyahu… do not put your faith in Putin and Russia. They are your enemy. They are actively aiding Syria and Iran and will turn on you like a rabid dog.

“We don’t want an escalation, but won’t let anyone attack us or build an infrastructure to attack us in the future,” Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman said Thursday, calling it “a new phase” in their longtime rivalry. If the tensions between Jerusalem and Tehran lead to even greater armed conflict, however, Israel is ready to go toe-to-toe with Iran. “I say again — whoever hurts us we will hurt him 7 times more, and whoever is getting ready to hurt us — we will hurt them first,” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Thursday in a video statement. “That is what we did and we will continue to do.”

China’s Xi Praises Marxism As The Tool For China To ‘Win The Future’

By: Terresa Monroe-Hamilton

Chinese President Xi Jinping celebrated the birthday of Marxism by paying tribute to Karl Marx as “the greatest thinker of modern times” in a speech today seen as part of an effort so solidify his power against domestic critics. He hardly needs to do so. He is basically dictator for life now in China and rules with an iron fist. Between control of the military, social media and the implementation of things such as social credit scores, Xi is clamping down on China big time. He is implementing communism in all its brutish infamy.

Xi’s address at the Great Hall of the People in central Beijing was one of a series of events in China marking the bicentennial of Marx’s birth in 1818 in Germany. May 1st marked communist May Day in China and was celebrated across the nation. For those thinking that China is not truly communist and some odd mixture of Marxism and capitalism, let me disabuse you of that fallacy. It is communism and Xi wields all the power of Mao. And he’s just as brutal.

“We must win the advantages, win the initiative, and win the future. We must continuously improve the ability to use Marxism to analyze and solve practical problems,” Xi said beneath a massive portrait of the white-bearded Marx on a stage bedecked with scarlet and gold curtains. That is the ultimate place of honor for the communist. “Today, we commemorate Marx in order to pay tribute to the greatest thinker in the history of mankind and also to declare our firm belief in the scientific truth of Marxism,” he said.

Xi controls the Communist Party in China now and his detractors who are unhappy with him eliminating term limits are likely to find out the hard way that he is an emperor for all intents and purposes and his enemies are truly expendable. Xi is also general secretary of the ruling Communist Party, an official that is also not term-limited.

Marx’s work became the inspiration for communism, an ideology that aims for shared ownership of the means of production and the absence of social classes. It is idealized by the left. What it truly entails is subjugation of the masses. Wealth is only for a chosen few and freedom does not exist. China launched market reforms three decades ago, but the Communist Party keeps an iron grip on power. It is a sham… a Kabuki theater dance the West is all too willing to believe and romanticize. They won’t feel that way when war comes. Xi intends to rule the world, not only militarily, but through natural resources, economically, digitally, through artificial intelligence and any other way that matters.

The South China Sea

The White House warned Beijing on Thursday that there will be consequences for its growing militarization in the South China Sea, following reports of missiles being deployed to three of the country’s outposts in the disputed region. They have already created islands that are fully militarized that will control international shipping channels and are strategically placed for military purposes.

U.S. intelligence assessed that there is a high probability the Chinese military had deployed anti-ship and anti-aircraft missiles to three artificial islands during recent military drills on the contested sea. The move would mark the first reported Chinese missile deployment in the Spratly Islands, a series of small inlets and reefs that Beijing has slowly built into militarized, artificial islands to reinforce its claims. CNBC first reported the Chinese military had deployed the weapons systems to Subi Reef, Fiery Cross Reef and Mischief Reef, west of the Philippines, on Thursday, quoting a source with knowledge of U.S. intelligence reports. According to CNBC, the YJ-12B anti-ship missiles would be able to strike ships up to 295 nautical miles away from the artificial islands.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying said on Friday the deployment of “necessary national defense facilities” to the artificial islands were within China’s rights. “It has nothing to do with militarization,” she told reporters at her daily press briefing. “The U.S. constantly strengthens its military deployment in the South China Sea … they should consider the consequence of this. We think the U.S. should reflect on its wrong doing.” She said on Thursday China has “indisputable sovereignty” over the contested islands.

China’s steady military buildup on the islands is reaching a “point of no return,” Collin Koh, research fellow at the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies’ Maritime Security Program, told CNN. “There is no way we can reverse all these ongoing additions, it will be up to China. They will decide whether they will deploy these systems or withdraw these systems. All we can do is manage it,” Koh said. The missile deployments are just the latest example of Beijing tightening its hold on the South China Sea in recent years, as the world’s attention focused farther north, on the Korean Peninsula. China’s “forward operating bases” now appear complete. The only thing lacking are the deployed forces. North Korea is a designed distraction.

Chinese Laser Attacks

Chinese military personnel are targeting American flight crews in the skies over the east African nation of Djibouti using a high-powered laser in what amounts to a new show of Chinese harassment of the U.S. military at a time of heightened tensions between the nations, according to Pentagon officials. Theese incidents bolster longstanding U.S. concerns about China’s decision to establish its first overseas military outpost close to the largest U.S. military base in Africa.

“These incidents are not surprising as they represent an act just short of war, but indicate gross, intentional negligence, as well as complete disregard for aviation safety and international norms,” said Trey Meeks, a principal at the Asia Group research firm. Meeks, a former pilot and Air Force colonel, had a previous assignment at U.S. Pacific Command. “I would certainly view it as harassment.”

From The Wall Street Journal:

There have been four incidents over the past several weeks at Djibouti, military officials said. Three involved the use of a military-grade laser that appeared to be coming from or near a logistics area of the Chinese base, those officials said. A fourth incident, as recently as two weeks ago, didn’t employ a military-grade device and appeared to come from a different location, but officials declined to specify where.

In one of the most recent, two American service members piloting a C-130 turboprop experienced minor eye injuries after being exposed to the laser beam, according to a Pentagon official. The pilots experienced dizziness and seeing “rings” after the incidents, and they are recovering, the official said.

Military officials also confirmed that there have been an undisclosed number of incidents involving lasers within U.S. Pacific Command, which encompasses the Pacific and Asia, where the U.S. and Chinese militaries have frequent encounters. But one official said that those laser incidents, while under investigation, haven’t been formally blamed on the Chinese.

Lasers are often used by saboteurs at commercial airports to distract or temporarily blind civilian jet pilots, typically as they are landing a plane and the potential for accidents is high, experts have said.

Devices that project laser beams have legitimate military uses, such as to help designate targets for aircraft, as target sights for hand-held weapons, or to temporarily blind advancing enemy troops in combat.

The military issued an internal notice, posted on the Federal Aviation Administration website, to warn pilots of the potential risks, referring last month to the laser used as “high-powered” and urging pilots to use “extreme caution.”

“The U.S. has notified airmen to exercise caution when flying in certain areas in Djibouti,” said Maj. Sheryll Klinkel, a Pentagon spokeswoman. “This notice was issued due to lasers being directed at U.S. aircraft on a small number of separate occasions over the last few weeks.”

“Lasers pointed at aircraft have the potential to cause serious harm to the aircrew and the surrounding area,” she said.

The attacks likely came from a nearby Chinese base. “The grade of the lasers are of military grade,” Maj. Klinkel said. “The reports by the pilots were that they came from the direction of the Chinese base nearby.” “Multiple intelligence sources report that China’s People’s Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) is suspected of operating a high-power lasing weapon at the base or on a ship offshore,” said a report in IHS Jane’s Defence Weekly. Lasers were used by the Soviet military during the Cold War to temporarily blind US pilots as well.

While Xi is honoring Marx, the Chinese military is attacking the U.S. with cyber warfare, lasers, hacking and intimidating us every chance they get. Communism and freedom are incompatible… sooner or later the U.S. and China will face off and things are seriously beginning to heat up.

Netanyahu Reveals Tons Of Evidence That Iran Lied About Its Nuclear Weapons Program

By: Terresa Monroe-Hamilton

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu gave a speech this afternoon from Israeli military headquarters in Tel Aviv and in it he revealed that Israeli intelligence had acquired tens of thousands of files, which, he said, proved that Iran had lied about its nuclear weapons program. Of course, Iran immediately trolled Israel calling Netanyahu the little boy who cried wolf and accused him of lying, but we all know who the liar is here and it’s not Netanyahu.

The Knesset — the Israeli Parliament — voted after Netanyahu’s speech on Monday in favor of a bill that would allow the prime minister to declare war with only the defense minister’s approval, in extreme situations. A declaration of war had only previously been done by the security cabinet.

The files are said to reportedly prove that Iran has been secretly continuing its program under the nose of international inspectors. Would any sane person out there doubt this for even a second? Netanyahu said that “100,000 files right here prove that they lied” and that “the nuclear deal gives Iran a clear path to an atomic arsenal.” It is believed that President Trump will pull us out of the Iranian nuclear deal and soon… this should give it a nice push. In fact, President Trump stated after Netanyahu’s press conference that he was right about Iran.

Netanyahu said the files that Israeli intelligence had obtained came from a storage facility for the files on the nuclear weapons program in the Shorabad district in southern Tehran. The Israelis managed to get 55,000 pages of documents and another 55,000 files on 183 CDs. The originals are now in a “very safe place,” Netanyahu assured anyone watching. I have no doubt of that and kudos to the IDF and Mossad for doing excellent work once again.

These files, he said, were full of “incriminating documents, incriminating charts, incriminating presentations, incriminating blueprints, incriminating photos, incriminating videos, and more.” He covered a sampling of these files, pointing out pictures and blueprints showing plans for the development of nuclear weapons. Netanyahu also pointed to Project Amad, a weapons program that Iran reportedly shelved in 2003, but which he said he now has proof that it has continued with the same personnel and research under the name SPND.

Netanyahu stated, “We’ve known for years that Iran had a secret nuclear weapons program called Project Amad. We can now prove that Project Amad was a comprehensive program to design, build, and test nuclear weapons. We can also prove that Iran is secretly storing Project Amad material to use at a time of its choice to develop nuclear weapons.” He presented Iranian documents in Farsi that describe plans for Project Amad to build five nuclear weapons with a yield of 10 kilotons each. “That’s like 5 Hiroshima bombs to be put on ballistic missiles,” he explained.

Netanyahu says the files prove four verifiable things:

  • Iran lied about never having a nuclear weapons program.
  • Even after the deal, Iran continued to preserve and expand its nuclear weapons for future use.
  • Iran lied again in 2015 when it didn’t come clean to the IAEA as required by the nuclear deal.
  • The nuclear deal is based on lies.

All of which is true and brutally obvious. This speech came just a day after Netanyahu met with newly sworn-in Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. After the meeting, Pompeo said that he was concerned by Iran’s “destabilizing and malign activities.” I’m sure he is, I know I am. Pompeo also said that the United States remains “deeply concerned about Iran’s dangerous escalation of threats towards Israel and the region. Iran has only behaved worse since the deal was approved.”

The timing of the speech is very interesting as well:

The Syrian army confirmed that Sunday that several military bases in northern Syria were struck in an attack blamed on Israel by the Hezbollah-affiliated newspaper Al Akhbar…

The explosions following the strike registered as a 2.6 magnitude earthquake by the European Mediterranean Seismological Center, but the weapons used did not cause the quake. Over 18 people were killed and another 60 were wounded, Sky News Arabia reported citing regime media…

According to some reports the target in Hama, an army base known as Brigade 47, was an underground missile production facility and depot for surface-to-surface missiles funded by Iran and built with the help of North Korea.

Hot Air continued:

That’s an awfully big boom, suggesting that the strike did indeed hit a weapons depot of some sort. Israel reportedly informed the U.S. and Russia after the attack that if Iran uses Syria to stage attacks on Israel, the IDF and IAF will hit back at Iran itself. What’s the connection, if any, between the missiles targeted last night and the nuclear news Netanyahu is set to reveal today? Does he think those missiles were meant to carry nuclear payloads, giving Iran the ability to launch a nuclear attack on Israel from two fronts?

And what does this mean for U.S. negotiations with North Korea? Bad enough that Pyongyang had a hand in helping Iran build the missiles that were targeted, but the White House tearing up a nuclear treaty it had agreed to with a foreign power just a few years ago and taking a newly hostile stance isn’t going to give Kim Jong Un confidence that any deal he reaches with the U.S. will be solemnly followed by Washington. Stay tuned.

This deal has been a massive mistake from the beginning and everyone knows it. Obama gave Iran everything they wanted and more, including billions of dollars for nothing in return. It was beyond a ‘mistake’. It was treasonous. It paved the way for Iran to have nuclear weapons and to fund terrorists across the globe. President Trump has until May 12th to get us out of this disastrous deal and start dealing with Iran as the enemy they are. War drums are getting louder and we are close to all out war with the mullahs at this point.

I heard this afternoon that Iran is in fact about to pull out of the deal themselves. “The Iran nuclear deal is no longer sustainable for Iran in its present form, without regard to a US exit,” Araghchi stated Monday, according to the Iranian Students News Agency.

In a phone call Sunday, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani told French President Emmanuel Macron that Trump had already “violated” the nuclear deal by “criticizing” it. Rouhani claimed that the criticism created “fear and ambiguity” and hurt Iran’s economy. That’s insane and a monstrous lie. Trump has repeatedly criticized the deal and with good reason. Trump has said that the deal was “insane. Ridiculous. It should have never been made.” That’s exactly right.

As my friend Denise Simon said this afternoon, “Now we understand the visits to the Trump White House from foreign leaders. The timing of the Netanyahu speech, hours after a suspected Israeli strike that likely used bunker-busters capable of hitting Iran’s nuclear facilities, after Secretary Mike Pompeo’s visit and days before Trump’s May deadline is certainly interesting.”

“When Secretary Mattis spoke to Congress last week regarding Iran, the wars drums are beating due to Iran, Hezbollah and Israel. Newly confirmed U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo just left Israel and has departed Jordan, his last stop bound for home to his office to which he has not yet visited since his confirmation as Secretary of State. The discussions were the presentation Prime Minister Netanyahu was about to deliver to the world about Iran and the nuclear program shrouded in lies.”

Pompeo on Sunday ratcheted up the Trump administration’s rhetoric against Iran and offered warm support to Israel, and Saudi Arabia, in the standoff with Tehran. “The United States is with Israel in this fight,” Pompeo said. Let’s hope President Trump does the right thing here and scraps the Iranian nuke deal.

‘Operation GhostSecret’: North Korea Is Intensifying A Global Cyberattack

The North Koreans were involved in a suspected widespread cyberattack last month that hit Turkish banks. The attack was much broader in scope than at first thought and the data theft has hit 17 countries, including the United States and Australia. Other countries include the United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, China and Russia, among other countries. They stole information on critical infrastructure, telecommunications and entertainment organizations, researchers say.

“The campaign is extremely complicated, leveraging a number of implants to steal information from infected systems and is intricately designed to evade detection and deceive forensic investigators,” McAfee wrote in a report. The group uses hacking tools that are associated with the cyber espionage group Hidden Cobra — the name that the US government uses to describe North Korea’s state-sponsored hackers.

The campaign is called Operation GhostSecret by cyber researcher McAfee. North Korean hackers have evolved beyond their traditional focus on military secrets and cyber provocations. They have expanded their net to include sensitive information from a wide range of industries. That info includes critical infrastructure, telecommunications, healthcare, higher education and other data troves. McAfee, which released the report on Wednesday, didn’t name the affected organizations, but said most of the attacks were in the Asia-Pacific region. The hack occurred between March 14th through March 26th.

McAfee says that the attack is ongoing and active. It’s also very hard to tell exactly what was taken. Files could have been deleted, stolen or they could have studied various networks for future attacks. “They’re in your network. They’re learning about you, understanding how you operate,” said Raj Samani, McAfee’s chief scientist.

The harder that North Korea is hit with sanctions, the more dangerous their cyberwarriors get. They are definitely targeting infrastructure systems and stealing money, according to cybersecurity specialists who track the regime’s behavior. The more menacing tactics are amplified by Pyongyang’s improving coding skills and swift mobilization, these people say. Because North Korea is already isolated politically, they are unafraid of repercussions for their actions.

McAfee doesn’t officially identify nation-state cyber units as culprits. But in their report they say they have a “high confidence” that Operation GhostSecret is the work of a North Korea-linked hacking operative known as Lazarus, based on similarities in malware and infrastructure. Lazarus was to blame for last year’s WannaCry ransomware attack and the 2014 Sony Pictures hack. North Korea has denied involvement in those attacks, but the evidence of the source of the attack is solid.

In early March, McAfee identified cyberattacks on Turkish financial institutions and government groups that deployed a “Bankshot” implant that embedded malicious files in Microsoft Word documents sent to victims via an email attachment. Computers were infected if users downloaded the attachment. That was just the first stage of the attack however. The broader assault grew beyond the Bankshot implant and used other types of malware. McAfee researchers classified the various malware under a single operation because of similarities in coding and capability, as well as the attack’s timing.

One of the additional tactics was a variant of a wiper tool that had a more than 80% similarity to the one used in the Sony Pictures hack, said Christiaan Beek, McAfee’s senior principal engineer. The updated wiper tool, which can delete files on infected computers, wasn’t a direct copy of the prior version, but rather a new, hybrid variant, McAfee said. Another malware implant, observed broadly with Operation GhostSecret, helped cover the hackers’ digital footprints with encryptions, McAfee stated. They are saying that North Korea is carrying out attacks with impunity.

In January, researchers from the US cybersecurity firm Recorded Future said a hacking campaign targeting the South Korean cryptocurrency exchange Coinlink employed the same malware used in the Sony and WannaCry attacks. The attack was attributed to the Lazarus group, which has been conducting operations since at least 2009, when it launched an attack on US and South Korean websites by infecting them with a virus known as MyDoom. For those out there that want to dig into the technical facts, here is a link to McAfee.

The truth of the matter is we have been involved in a world war on the cyber battlefield for some time now. North Korea is increasing their attacks and are not to be trusted in the least. But don’t forget the Chinese, Russians and Iranians are also all attacking the US and each other. Looks like a world war to me.

Oliver Stone Compares President Trump To A Demon At Iranian Film Festival

By: Terresa Monroe-Hamilton

Oliver Stone just went to the Islamic Republic of Iran for the Fajr International Film Festival. While he was in the country where his son converted to Shiite Islam in 2012, he referred to President Trump as the demon “Beezlebub,” more commonly known as “Baal.” He not only pictured Trump as Satan, he also basically called America the Great Satan. The Iranians must have been elated over this.

It’s ironic he would label the US and our President in those terms in a country that is the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism. A hellish Islamic theocracy that is looking to bring back the Mahdi and bring on an apocalypse. The Mahdi, to many Christians, is the Anti-Christ.

Stone told Iranian reporters at a press conference on Wednesday that while he once compared George W. Bush to John Wayne, a more apt comparison for Trump is “Beelzebub,” another name for Satan. He got that almost right… “Beelzebub” is a demon and guess what? His origins are in the Middle East, right about where Palestine is.

The media of course is praising Stone for his honesty. The Hollywood Reporter said that the radical leftist director is “demonstrating a solid knowledge of regional politics as well as Persian history.” Stone didn’t seem concerned about Iran’s history of promoting terrorism in the region. Instead, he was more than willing to trash American foreign policy in the Middle East and threw in some disparaging comments about France’s Emmanuel Macron, who recently met with Trump, just for the hell of it.

Stone referred to the war in Iraq as a “proxy war.” He also said that US foreign policy since 9/11 is a form of “creative destruction” with the reckless goal of regime change, “no matter how disastrous the invasion of Iraq was.” Perhaps Mr. Stone should move to Tehran and be one with his terrorist buds. He won’t be missed. “We made a mess out of Iraq, Syria, Libya, but it doesn’t matter to the American public,” said Stone. “It’s okay to wreck the Middle East. … It doesn’t matter who is president — Bush, Obama or Trump, the US will break any treaty” to promote its own interests. That is very close to treason in my book.

Stone whined about Trump and Macron wanting to revise the catastrophic Obama-era Iran nuclear deal. He said it shows Macron is a man “without much sense of history or memory of the great traditions of France,” and one who clearly wants to revert back to French colonialism. Stone, a vocal critic of US foreign policy over many decades, accused President Macron of mimicking one of his predecessors Nicolas Sarkozy, who “wants to stand alongside the Americans as a sign of French power.” “This is a return to the colonialism and imperialism of the old France. This is what President De Gaulle swore off with the Algerian War in 1958-9 when he called it quits,” he said.

“Mr. Macron has to learn that he cannot be an imperialist.” He didn’t say Macron should kneel before his Islamic overlords, but he might as well have. President Trump and Macron disagree on the Iranian nuke deal and it looks at present as if Trump will pull us out of it entirely. Good. They did mention a new deal, which I hope and pray does not materialize.

Asked if he would consider producing a film focused on the Islamic State, Stone said that while it’s a “very good idea,” he cited political “blocking forces and controversies” that would try to prevent him from telling the story of ISIS “honestly.” You have got to be freaking kidding me. That’s out there for even Stone. Of course, he has a lot in common with John Kerry, whose daughter married an Iranian as well. And remember, this is the guy who made a movie that tried to lionize the traitor, Edward Snowden.

Stone also addressed the “ridiculous story” that he wanted to make a film in 2007 about then-president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, but was rejected because the president considered the director a representative of the “Great Satan,” which is how Iranian leaders generally refer to the US.

I wonder if Stone himself has converted? It sure sounds like it. His allegiance seems to be with Iran and not the US these days, that’s for certain. He is now not only a communist, but an Islamist as well. It’s a twofer.
