Watching this portion of president Trump’s State of the Union speech, I thought, “This destroys Democrats’, Hollywood and fake news media’s lie that says Trump is racist.” And yet, I knew these leftists would continue their evil divisive Trump-is-racist deception.
With the TV cameras on Alice Johnson, a tearful black woman, Trump said he was deeply moved by her story. In 1997, Alice was sentenced to life in prison as a first time nonviolent drug offender. Over the next 22 years, Alice became a prison minister. She greatly impacted many lives in prison and beyond; inspiring others to make better choices.
“Alice’s story underscores the disparity and unfairness that can exist in criminal sentencing and the need to remedy this total injustice.” “In June, I commuted Alice’s sentence. When I saw Alice’s beautiful family greet her at the prison gate hugging and kissing, crying and laughing, I knew I did something right.”
Of particular note is during the peaceful transfer of power from Obama to Trump, Obama told Trump the number one threat to the United States and her interests is North Korea. Notice that Obama never made any declaration regarding North Korea. Notice too that under Obama, the Sinaola Cartel, the narco-terror organization that killed thousands in Mexico and many in the United States, was not part of any declaration. But… Obama did declare a national emergency due to the socialist revolution in Venezuela and hence that has caused 3 million Venezuelans to flee.
Oh yeah… nothing from Obama either regarding the Islamic State and Syria or Iraq… or Russia considering Moscow’s intrusion into our 2016 election systems.

There is no issue that will more decisively spell the end of American liberty than that of amnesty for this country’s millions of illegal aliens.
Illegal immigration and the societal changes it will bring with it are more than an economic issue, a public health issue, a law enforcement issue, or even a national security problem — it is an existential threat to the survival of the United States as a constitutional republic.
It comes down to simple math.
For years, the generally accepted estimate of illegal aliens living in the United States has been around 11 million.
A study released by MIT’s Mohammad Fazel-Zarandi, a senior lecturer in the operations research and statistics group, and his colleagues, Edward Kaplan and Jonathan Feinstein, both from Yale School of Management, in September 2018 gave cause to re-visit that figure.
According to MIT’s Sloan School: “The research found that the number of undocumented immigrants living in the country is about 22.1 million, nearly twice the most prominent current estimate of 11.3 million. Even using extremely conservative parameters, the study estimates a population of 16.7 million undocumented immigrants, nearly 50 percent higher than the widely accepted population figure.”
If given citizenship and voting rights (which Hillary Clinton promised to initiate within a hundred days of taking office), 11 to 22 million eventual new voters will have a huge impact on future U.S. elections.
This fact is not lost on the left-wing activists in the United States, who seek to use the illegal alien population to secure a “permanent progressive majority” for the Democratic Party and their allies.
Communist Party USA (CPUSA) leader Emile Schepers wrote a paper on immigration amnesty for the party’s 2014 national Convention in Chicago.
“For decades, the CPUSA has been involved in the struggle for the rights of immigrant workers and their families. … A central focus has been gaining legal rights for the 11 million undocumented,” Schepers wrote.
“We call for progressive legislation which legalizes as many people as possible as quickly as possible. … We are for ease of access to U.S. citizenship.”
Former Illinois Congressman Luis Gutierrez was — for more than 20 years — the main champion of illegal alien amnesty in the House of Representatives. He is a former leader of the Marxist–Leninist Puerto Rican Socialist Party (PRSP) and an ally of both the United States’ largest Marxist organization — the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) — and the pro-China League of Revolutionary Struggle (LRS).
In July 2015, Rep. Gutierrez addressed the House of Representatives on the power of the Latino vote and the political left.
“If millions of people naturalize, become citizens, and if we add to that the million Latino citizens who this year will turn 18, plus all our allies in the African-American community, LGBT voters and younger voters, environmental voters, women voters, Asian voters, union voters … constitute a majority of Americans. Together, we are the New American Coalition that will dominate politics for decades to come.”
Gutierrez’s good friend, former SEIU International Executive Vice President Eliseo Medina, is the undisputed leader of the “amnesty” movement in this country. Medina is a long-time member of the DSA, a CPUSA ally, and was an informal adviser to former President Barack Obama on immigration and amnesty issues.
At the America’s Future Now! conference in Washington, D.C. on June 2, 2009, Medina addressed “progressive” attendees on the need for urgent illegal alien amnesty.
Speaking of Latino voters, Medina said: “When they [Latinos] voted in November, they voted overwhelmingly for progressive candidates. Barack Obama got two out of every three voters that showed up. …
“If we are to expand this electorate to win, the progressive community needs to solidly be on the side of immigrants. That we’ll solidify and expand the progressive coalition for the future. …
“[If] we reform the immigration laws, it puts 12 million people on the path to citizenship and eventually voters. Can you imagine if we have, even the same ratio, two out of three?
“If we have 8 million new voters who care about …. and will be voting. We will be creating a governing coalition for the long term, not just for an election cycle.”
Medina exhibits no compassion for the plight of illegal aliens or sympathy for families being torn asunder. Medina does not speak of a “nation of immigrants” or the “American Dream.”
This is all about hard numbers and raw power.
It’s very clear that the left wants illegal immigrant amnesty for one reason only — votes.
The 2012 Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney lost his election by around 2.5 million votes. President Donald Trump actually lost the popular vote by around 3 million ballots. He won by about 200,000 votes through the Electoral College. Thank God for the wisdom of the Founding Fathers who gave America a system to temper the dangers of raw “majority rule” and political dominance by large population centers and ethnic or religious blocs.
Many states with high illegal alien populations, such as Arizona, Georgia, Florida, and North Carolina are only marginally inside the Republican camp. Illegal alien amnesty would almost certainly send those states permanently “blue.” Virginia — once “red” — would also be lost for the Republicans. Even Republican-stronghold Texas is very vulnerable. Losing only one or two of these states would doom the Republican Party to minority party status, and eventual oblivion.
How can the Republicans hope to counter 10 to 20 million new Democrat voters, possibly as soon as the 2022 election cycle?
Today’s Democratic Party is no longer the party of Harry Truman or John F. Kennedy. It is now a party of the far-left. At least 30 percent of the current Democratic senators and Congress members have ties to the CPUSA, DSA, Freedom Road Socialist Organization, Committees of Correspondence for Democracy and Socialism, or other revolutionary organizations. Many Congress members also have ties to China, Iran, Venezuela, and especially Cuba.
Illegal alien amnesty would give the Democrats permanent control of the United States. This means a “one-party state” soon to be dominated by the far-left. Think California nationwide, with no hope of a turnaround.
No political party should ever be given permanent unchallenged power.
As British history statesman Lord Acton famously said: “Power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely.” “Amnesty” would give the far-left in the United States the absolute power they have so long craved.
Illegal alien amnesty is the left’s road to the American “one-party state.” For the sake of our children and grand-children, for the sake of the remaining free world, this cannot be allowed to happen. It must be fought with every fiber of our being by those who love liberty.
America, you must say no to amnesty.

1. The bill has language in it that actually restricts who can do immigration sweeps and deportations.
2. That 55 miles of alleged construction has many caveats to it including approvals or denials by the land-owners for any type of barrier. Further, there is a historic church and a butterfly sanctuary that is restricted from any barrier construction.
3. There is NO money for an additional 750 Border Patrol agents and there is NO money for 2000 more ICE agents.
4. Any construction of a border wall cannot use any of the prototypes offered to the Federal government.
5. The bill would prohibit DHS from detaining or deporting a sponsor, potential sponsor, or household member of an unaccompanied minor based on information shared with HHS. (This means that all unaccompanied themselves have their own sanctuary).
6. Detention for up to 100,000 illegals would require other options including wearing ankle bracelets or simply using a phone. This means essentially detention centers could be rendered obsolete.
7. A larger or perhaps a separate oversight committee/team will be established to manage all ICE activities.
Monica Elfriede Witt, 39, a former U.S. service member and counterintelligence agent, has been indicted by a federal grand jury in the District of Columbia for conspiracy to deliver and delivering national defense information to representatives of the Iranian government. Witt, who defected to Iran in 2013, is alleged to have assisted Iranian intelligence services in targeting her former fellow agents in the U.S. Intelligence Community (USIC). Witt is also alleged to have disclosed the code name and classified mission of a U.S. Department of Defense Special Access Program. An arrest warrant has been issued for Witt, who remains at large.
It started in 2008 when the Republicans were against it but the Democrats were for it.
The whole project was underway and President Obama ponied up federal dollars for the project… like $3.8 billion which Governor Newsom refuses to pay back to ‘Donald Trump’. Hummm, it is not President Trump’s money, it belongs to the U.S. taxpayer. Hello… border wall?
It is important to note that the California governor canceled the high-speed rail over the voters of California under Proposition 1A.
The whole mess from the beginning was full of corruption and much of that fraud sits on the desk of California Attorney General Becerra. Swell…
Remember, the first Federal installment occurred under the Obama regime with a $2.5 billion investment under that pesky American Recovery and Reinvestment Act… $2.5 billion to be exact.
But after spending $3 billion of the fed’s money and $7.8 billion from California bond sales and revenue from the state’s infamous cap-and-trade taxes, Cal HSR has failed to lay a mile of track over the initial 32-mile section of flat San Joaquin Valley farmland.
Rather than demand the money back from Tutor-Perini/Zachry/Parsons, its project and construction manager (PCM), Cal HSR recently voted to extend the term of the contract by 6 months and to raise the price from $34.2 million to $40.2 million, an 18 percent bump.
The move is even more extraordinary given that Cal HSR admits that the professional service contract was “based on qualifications of PCM and its 25 staffing resources, as opposed to low bid.” That means Tutor-Perini/Zachry/Parsons employees, even if they worked exclusively on Cal HSR, are each being paid an average of $240,000 for the next six months of work.
Cal HSR told the Fresno Bee that the delays were due to extended environmental impact reviews and the protracted pace of acquiring 822 parcels of mostly farmland, either through negotiated purchase or suing under eminent domain. More details here.
With a price tag so far of $77 billion, Governor Newsom is somewhat equivocating on the whole thing. Seems there is no plan on paper or a timetable. Further, there are all kinds of lawsuits when it comes to environmental impact, evaluations and where if any, a rail system would continue in that state. California, with the funding of the high-speed rail, also committed at the same time to electrifying commuter lines from San Jose to San Francisco as well as modernizing community development and station planning. This is a state that has a major homeless problem not to mention housing issues mostly due to land use restrictions and Silicon Valley employment.
The term, “weaponization,” was also used by NATO’s
top commander in Europe, Philip Breedlove, to describe what the Russians and
Syrians were doing in the Middle East with the Islamic refugees there.
Germany’s Angela Merkel welcomed them, destabilizing Europe. Here, President
Trump campaigned for office on the basis of stopping this flow into the U.S. Objectively
speaking, Merkel and not Trump has been serving Russian interests.
The popular reality TV show, “Border Wars,” on the National Geographic Channel, captures the determined efforts of U.S. Customs and Border Protection, ICE, DEA, the U.S. Coast Guard and local law enforcement to keep our nation safe. They fight terrorism and apprehend drug smugglers. The process of intercepting people entering the United States illegally is another mission they have. These illegal aliens have become a weapon of war, just like in the Middle East. A Border Wall would be another line of defense.
It’s not like we didn’t already know that but actually, it is worse than you think. This report comes from the University of Illinois at Chicago… ruh-roh. Remember that Chicago and Los Angeles mayors are Democrats… oh yeah… Barack Obama lists Chicago as his hometown… but he never really goes there and there is corruption all over his presidential library too.
With matters like the conspiracy of the Olympics in Chicago and the whole Tony Rezko thing… the beat goes on.
Oh yeah, just for fun, you may want to read up on Operation Greylord, corruption in the Cook County judicial system.
The prison holds an estimated 400 inmates, the worst of the worst, including convicted al Qaeda operatives, Terry Nichols, Robert Hanssen, Dzhokar Tsarnaev, and Vincent Basciano.
Joaquin “El Chapo’ Guzman, Sinaloa Cartel Leader, Convicted Of Running A Continuing Criminal Enterprise and Other Drug-Related Charges
Joaquin Archivaldo Guzman Loera, known by various aliases, including “El Chapo” and “El Rapido,” was convicted today by a federal jury in Brooklyn, New York of being a principal operator of a continuing criminal enterprise – the Mexican organized crime syndicate known as the Sinaloa Cartel – a charge that includes 26 drug-related violations and one murder conspiracy. Guzman Loera was convicted of all 10 counts of a superseding indictment, including narcotics trafficking, using a firearm in furtherance of his drug crimes and participating in a money laundering conspiracy. The verdict followed a 12-week trial before U.S. District Judge Brian M. Cogan. Guzman Loera faces a mandatory sentence of life imprisonment at his sentencing scheduled on June 25.
Acting Attorney General Matthew G. Whitaker, U.S. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen, Assistant Attorney General Brian A. Benczkowski of the Justice Department’s Criminal Division, U.S. Attorney Richard P. Donoghue for the Eastern District of New York, U.S. Attorney Ariana Fajardo Orshan for the Southern District of Florida, Acting Administrator Uttam Dhillon of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), FBI Director Christopher Wray, Executive Associate Director Derek Benner of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and Acting U.S. Marshal Bryan T. Mullee of the Eastern District of New York, announced the verdict.
Many times I have commented that today is tectonic. Geopolitically, I believe current events are similar to eras when the Soviet Union dissolved in 1991 or the ascension of the US as the primary global power in 1946.
The EU is in shatters. It is increasingly apparent that this grand project is failing and this uneven and over-ambitious expansion has weakened, not strengthened, the EU. The euro is potentially both an economic and political failure.
In fact, iconic globalists such as Soros, Merkel, and Macron have all lamented and warned about the potential imminent failure of the grand experiment of a common government and currency.
A major reason for the demise is unbridled immigration that has startled most voters, a bureaucratic state that is tone deaf to its constituents, and wealth inequality at levels not experienced in several generations because of the socialist dogma that surrounds policy.
Parts of the US Democratic Party are attempting to emulate the EU in its passionate view about immigration, green energy, and socialist agenda… an agenda that is manifested in the Green New Deal. The GND has been endorsed by 70 House members, eleven Senate Democrats and at least five Democratic presidential candidates; far from the amount however needed to push through the proposal.
Will this ringing endorsement be their death knell or the event that catapults them into history as ones who dramatically altered society?
It is widely accepted that Europe and the EU no longer carry the global clout that they once carried even ten years ago. The clout has shifted to India and China. The reason is simple; the lack of growth. The Eurozone 2019 growth outlook has been cut to an anemic 1.3% rate from 1.9% in December. Economic output in the Eurozone was lower in 2017 than it was in 2009 according to the WSJ.
During the same period GDP grew by 96% in India, 139% in China and 34% in the US as per the WSJ. As the EU economy lags, Europe is becoming more divided politically, enabling Brexit type events to occur.
Is this a good path to emulate?
Commenting directly about the energy aspect of the GND, currently, only 17% of US power is from renewables despite massive subsidies that make this power affordable. The WSJ writes that without these subsidies solar costs remain about 20% higher than natural gas and wind is two thirds more expensive.
The bigger problem, however, is that wind and solar do not provide reliable power so backup plants that burn fossil fuels are required, a redundancy that is expensive even with subsidies.
The WSJ writes Germany receives 29% of its power from wind and solar and 38% from coal, making Germany’s electric rates the highest in Europe thus slamming growth and its competitiveness.
The GND is radical. If passed, it will change American society, at best making it noncompetitive by soaring energy costs and massive debt to achieve such goals.
Throughout our history, socialism has entered into the narrative, only to be silenced by overwhelming electoral losses, the result of our can-do culture and society.
Will such occur again today or is the proverbial nanny state about to take upon completely new dimensions?
The above is an observation of a possible event that will forever change the markets and society.
Some write the US follows Europe. If this was indeed the case every Republican would champion the GND for as noted the European grand experiment, which the GND is partially based upon, is on the verge of a spectacular failure.
Radically changing topics, markets staged a moderate advance on hopes of a budget deal and trade optimism.
Last night the foreign markets were up. London was up 0.37%, Paris was up 0.26% and Frankfurt was up 0.16%. China was up 1.87%, Japan was up 1.34% and Hang Sang was up 1.16%.
The Dow should open flat ahead of trade optimism and the belief that the government will not be again shuttered. The 10-year is unchanged at 2.69%.
