The following is a statement from an LGBTQIA2S+ activist: Transgender is an umbrella term used to describe individuals whose gender identity or expression does not match the sex they were assigned at birth. If you’re listening to the woke with a critical ear (and you’d better be), did you notice this not-so-subtle misuse of the word “assigned?” “Sex assigned at birth” implies that some random person’s arbitrary assessment led to their subjective opinion, followed immediately by an uninformed and unauthorized obiter dictum. Rubbish! If the obstetrician overseeing the birth of your child isn’t qualified to correctly recognize the sex/gender of your newborn, then who is?

Your sex was not “assigned” at birth. It was, in fact, “identified” scientifically and quite correctly by a trained healthcare professional. The layman is also quite capable of making such biological determinations with unerring accuracy. Ask the proud grandmother, she’ll know. And I wouldn’t bet the farm against her expertise in this department. Or you can take the radical, transgender word of the woke instead. It goes like this: Your new baby’s sex will remain unknown until it reaches the age of self-awareness. In the course of time, your child will
determine its own sex and gender-based entirely upon a notion, with zero regard to the definitive physical characteristics. Until then, I reckon you can skip the pink and blue layette themes and nursery decor motifs, in favor of the new woke palette of gender-neutral tones.

This is beyond foolishness, it’s transgender linguistic malpractice, cleverly crafted to advance their nonsensical theory. The male/female binary is the preeminent and most highly consequential element to discern upon your baby’s miraculous advent, among the slightly less (but still very) important factors like ten fingers and toes, and nascent good health in general. I’m reminded of the joyous proclamations of, “It’s a boy!” and “It’s a girl!” when my children were born. If woke transgenderism has rendered these cherished declarations obsolete, then what is the new, gender-equivocal, alternate declaration to be at the moment of birth? “It’s alive!”? Where have I heard that before?

We all use first-person pronouns (I and we). We don’t go out of our way to choose them, but their utility is universally accepted without regard to how one identifies. Second-person pronouns refer specifically to “you.” I can call you “you” without a qualm or offense, whether you’re gay, straight, trans, or something else. It’s not so much that “you” is a word we choose, but rather its ubiquitous, daily use simply follows a long-established precedent, and why shouldn’t it? First and second-person pronouns are implemented by the speaker or writer. They identify you and me in a totally neutral way, and as such, they are not subject to illegit transgender manipulation, not yet anyway.

Our ordinary use of pronouns is more of a benign routine, than a subjective choice. But contrary to that, woke transgender theory asserts that (starting now) we should handpick our own pronouns, even though we never have before. Third-person pronouns have always been and will always be determined objectively (not subjectively) and solely by the observer. Based primarily on visual (and other) cues, third-person pronouns have always been the exclusive purview of the observer to decide and NEVER chosen by the subject himself or herself.

With very few exceptions, the outward male/female evidence is obvious to all observers, and thus, third-person pronouns are categorized accordingly. Self-appointed pronouns, especially when they’re imposed on others are frivolous, narcissistic, utterly impractical, and a daft ploy advanced by agenda-driven radicals. Who decides and declares, “She’s got a ticket to ride?” John and Paul do, not the nameless “she.”

In the misguided transgender world, one’s thoughts, emotions, imagination, and pronouncements are the determinates of reality. Thus, (quite incorrectly) you are what you think you are, feel you are, imagine yourself to be, or say you are. Never mind what God, nature, your own body, and Grandma have to say about the matter. This concept extends even further to include the dubious claim that a person’s gender can actually change as frequently as one’s thoughts can change. Woke dogma dictates that a person can be (or change back and forth from) a man, a woman, both, or neither at any given time with no regard to their actual sex/gender. Confronted with this utterly harebrained and categorically unconvincing hogwash, is it a surprise that reasonable people find such a notion to be rather far-fetched?

Speaking objectively and scientifically, you are what you are with no regard to your thoughts, feelings, or preferences. Even Popeye understood this fundamental concept: “I am what I am, and that’s all what I am.” There are only two sexes. Male and female, both determined 100% by biology. It’s common sense and altogether compatible with science to acknowledge this “one or the other” binary. One’s sex and/or gender (the two words are synonymous and can be used interchangeably) are as immutable as one’s age, eye and skin color, or DNA. Sex equals gender and vice versa. Both are biologically intrinsic, congenital, and permanently fixed characteristics. Period!

There’s no such thing as sex/gender transition. In order for such a transition to take place, the DNA (present in every cell of your body) would have to be changed from XX to XY or vice versa. Puberty blockers, hormones, and cosmetic surgery may facilitate lifestyles that do not conform to biological reality, but they do not alter reality in any genuine capacity. You can’t make a Ford into a Chevy with a few spare parts, and you can’t make a woman from a man, or into a man by any means. Those who actually believe such transitions are possible (or real) are laboring under a gross misconception. That statement may be interpreted in two ways. You’re welcome to take it any way you wish.

Thus, an important line has been crossed, not to be confused with the moral line. Over the years, a clutch of outré lifestyle modes and behaviors, once considered immoral by a broad public consensus, has been normalized to one degree or another. This includes various nontraditional lifestyles and all manner of behaviors that would have been considered somewhat deviant a few generations ago. Highly subjective opinions are formed regarding the relative acceptability or impropriety of these controversial social bents. In today’s Western societies, the line of morality is drawn more by individual conscience and personal choice, than by mores, laws, or clergy. Consequently, the moral line that was once clear is now fuzzy, and at times, scarcely visible. But that blurry boundary is not the line of which I speak.

There is another line, a more important line that must never be crossed. This essential line is composed of truth, reality, and rationality. Woke transgenderism is an unreal, irrational lie, and by virtue of that, it must not be countenanced. We can debate the relative merits (or faults) of various other social topics all day long with clear heads, rational minds, and especially with valid words that are unambiguously defined, supported by a broad consensus, and a posteriori. But the woke, transgender myth has gone too far. It goes one step beyond and thus crosses the indelible line of demarcation that divides rational truth from the deceitful verbal realm of mendacious propaganda.

I’m talkin’ about the vital, essential nature of objective truth, juxtaposed against the illegitimate lies proffered by radical trans activists.

Transgenderism is a very different animal, the kind that Orwell warned us about. Its leaders are bent on imprudently ignoring reality and setting it aside. Transgenderism has an agenda dedicated to the circumvention of reality, by way of a false theory advanced by counterfeit language. For those brave souls who answer the calling to point out the senselessness and dangerous implications of transgender theory, an intellectual and linguistic minefield of dubious pseudoscience, made-up nonsense words, illegitimate redefinitions, vaguely ambiguous un-definitions, illogic, outright lies, and delusions awaits you. Not to mention the sting of woke scorn and cancellation. “It is what it is” might sound trite and cliché, but it must never be replaced with “It is what it isn’t.” Let’s save the moral arguments for another day. But as for this insidious lie: “Men can become women and women can become men,” we will not surrender one inch on this ideological battlefield.

The woke would have us accept the transgender lie hook-line-and-sinker, or at least dismiss the theory as just a passing fad and a bit of harmless, gender-bending frivolity. But should we? Should your concerns be assuaged when your adolescent daughter comforts you with these words, “Don’t worry, Mom, it’s only foreplay.” Or is becoming alarmed an overreaction when your government says, “Nothing to be concerned about, it’s just a little socialism.” One thing leads to another in all of these instances. Ask Karl Marx or the pregnant teenager. Just as socialism is one rung on the ladder to communism, transgenderism is also an intermediate step. The psychological destabilization of many “useful idiots” is one purpose, but the chief target of this insidious mind game is those who refuse to acquiesce to it (that’s us).

We think in words. Without words, reasoning would be impossible. One way to impede rational thought and derail reasoning is to control the language. Ushered in fortysomething years ago, “political correctness” was (and remains) a Trojan Horse, bred to limit speech, control our language, and thus, inhibit our ability to think. Who decides what you can and can’t say under PC’s assumed hegemony? The woke, political left, that’s who. The same activists have cunningly redefined, undefined, and shaped pretend words to advance a woke, trans theory that is inarguably more preposterous than persuasive. Consequently (and by necessity) it is advanced by a deliberate perversion of language. Transgender manipulation of language is (by design and intent) a deceitful form of gaslighting. Better keep your wits about you.

Notice: This article is not judgmental of you, your mental and emotional processes, your lifestyle preferences, or even your behavior(s). So, don’t mistake this candid statement of truth as some scurrilous “ism” or “phobia.” If you identify as something other than your biological sex, regardless of your preferred form of gender expression, that’s your affair and your prerogative. It’s a free country. Therefore, live however you want, and love whomever you want. Nobody’s stopping you, it’s your right as an American. It’s your life to live, and almost
all of your countrymen are quite pleased to live and let live. To echo (without endorsing) Aleister Crowley and his credo: “Do as thou wilt.”

Notwithstanding, one would be wise to recognize that besides all of the personal, relational, copulatory, and other “perceived” benefits of gender nonconformity, there is a predictable downside to taking a walk on the wild side. Unfavorable reactions to nonconformity are quite natural. Thus, the push-back and negative consequences for transgender peccadillos have evolved organically. And it should be pointed out that whether your gender identity and amatory manner by which you amuse yourself and others are mainstream or avant-garde, plain
vanilla or rainbow sherbet; it should come as no surprise that such personal matters are just that… personal and of little interest to others.

Go ahead, be whomever you need to be, but depraved gay pride parades, drag queen kindergarten story hours, costumes that are at once flamboyant and distasteful, and all manner of odd behaviors alienate otherwise neutral observers. Many of the freakish outward trappings, affectations, and gender-bending antics somewhat common to the LGBTQI2S+ community are not conducive to positive public relations. Thus, woke, narcissistic transgender irreverence is routinely met with disdain and remonstrance by many who view such things as radical and unsavory. Consider the calamitous ad campaign launched by Bud Light beer featuring a revolting image of a fruity, femininized male.

Frankly, your neighbors don’t really care how you identify, whom you love, how you love, what your preferred pronouns are, or how you put your pants (or panties) on. All of that is your self-directed, idiomatic tendency (or compulsion), your arrangement, your choice, your responsibility, and therefore… It’s your business and none of ours. And if it’s all the same to you, we’d really prefer it remains that way. Keeping such personal idiosyncrasies to oneself has always been (and will always be) both a dignified and advisable option. I’m just sayin’.

Tolerant, fair-minded transgender naysayers can accept that others think and live differently, but we will never buy into it. And for good reason, because the concept of transgenderism is both radical and nonsensical. One major objection to transgender theory espoused in this treatise is the disingenuous manner in which transgender activists have sought to alter the language. The truth can (and does) exist all by itself, but expressions of verity cannot exist without clear word definitions and unadulterated language. Without which, truth, logic, and reason will atrophy. If the truth is left unguarded, our republic may suffer a similar fate (the apparent goal of the trans movement).
