A repetitive mantra echoes through the halls of higher education. This notion and its woke faculty adherents are ubiquitous. They hypothesize that the USA (its form of government and the nation itself) is solely the product of unjust imperialism, indigenous genocide, white supremacy, capitalistic greed, and the systematic oppression of every person not born white, male, Christian, and heterosexual. In contrast, others see it quite differently. Could it be that we have been blessed with the greatest form of government ever devised by man? I believe it’s the latter. While we may freely acknowledge our many historic missteps, we may also take into account all of the corrective measures that have been enacted. What follows is a “baby and bathwater” type of question that subjective, self-hating, ideological talking points cannot satisfy. The intelligent answer requires objectivity and nuance, traits that are now sorely lacking in college classrooms and nearly every arena of public discourse. Assuming that no country has ever been perfect, what makes this imperfect country so great?

First and foremost, because our founding document proclaims that our rights come from our Creator, our intrinsic individual sovereignty is both recognized and certified; it is not bestowed or granted by some arbitrary governmental authority. That alone sets us apart from any (every) other nation. Second, the Constitution codifies many of our God-given rights and establishes limits on the scope and degree of federal power. Third, the three co-equal branches of government provide checks and balances against the abuse of federal power. Granted, abuses exist, but they do because of misguided officials and their corruption. The Constitution itself is not faulty; the fault lies with persons of dubious character who fail to conform to the terms and restraints of our Constitution, and to the intent of its literateurs. The fact that our Constitution is largely ignored today does not nullify its meaning, purpose, utility, and necessity; it plainly emphasizes it.

Our constitutional rights are often exercised collectively, but fundamentally, they apply to the individual. The radical movement striving to undermine our republic focuses entirely on the collective, with disregard and even disdain for the individual. Thus, the term “collectivism” serves as a general denotation for a cabal composed of many interwoven subgroups, each performing a specific, treacherous function, and sharing the common overarching goal of totalitarian rule. The collectivists are known by various monikers, including: Marxist, leftist, socialist, communist, progressive, liberal (in the contemporary vernacular), and others. Many, with a totalitarian bent such as Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Castro, and now the domestic American left wing, have been influenced by the writings of Karl Marx. They all borrowed from Marx, but he invented nothing. He wasn’t the author of the Communist Manifesto; all he did was transcribe it. The actual author is well known and may be a bit of a surprise to many. The origins of Marxism can be traced back thousands of years to another time and another world.

But wait, if Karl Marx isn’t the father of Marxism, communism, socialism, progressivism, etc., then who is? The blueprint for the left wing in this country is Saul Alinsky’s book titled: Rules for Radicals. And who did Alinsky dedicate his book to? “To the first radical in history (or in legend) who was so successful that he got his own kingdom.” You may have guessed it by now: Lucifer. Wokeness isn’t simply a nascent anomaly; far from it. It is the culmination of a cunning, long-term plan, Fabian in its nature and implementation. Beginning in the mid to late 1800s, Western European democracies, and our young republic especially, came under an insidious attack from forces dedicated to the usurpation and abolishment of our freedoms and liberties, and the imposition of authoritarian rule. Cultural stability is the primary target in this war on freedom, and it’s fought on multiple fronts. The attacks are social, moral, academic, economic, journalistic, and in certain cases, religious (to name a few), and they emanate from essentially every position of influence. For many years, and now especially, Lucifer’s mortal acolytes are bending every effort to establish his hegemony, one that will lead to a very mirthless, chthonic destination.

What then stands in their way? In relative order of importance: God, truth, faith, family, the male/female binary, order, unity, morality, personal responsibility, physical and intellectual vitality, common sense, self-sufficiency, and love of neighbor, community, and country. All of which are under attack by forces aligned with the sociopolitical left. Perhaps you’ve noticed. When these cultural underpinnings are ignored, forgotten, or deliberately forsaken, failure is the inevitable outcome. How did Lucifer plan to conquer? By dividing the subjects of the realm. And how will we be conquered? By division of course, and by the systematic abolition of every societal safeguard previously mentioned. Sadly, when unmindful pawns are brainwashed, they’ll relinquish these essential touchstones willingly, even enthusiastically.

But why would they? Because the socialists proffer a menu of new rights, most of which amount only to frivolous, taxpayer-funded, government-supplied entitlements and libertine peccadilloes. The Marxists would have you believe that providing for one’s self and one’s dependents is no longer necessary, because Big Brother’s gonna pick up the tab. This insidious fiction, the obvious pandering, and the pitiful mentality that results from it refashions solid, responsible, independent, freedom-loving citizens into mind-numbed zombies, dependent, shiftless, apathetic, and with an unhealthy sense of entitlement, thus very easy to control. Control being the ultimate goal.

At a point, well into the process, thoughtful observers are concluding that a game of sorts is underway. One that began quite unnoticed, many years ago, but one that surely involves us. All the while, “Black” had a master plan, and its execution continues unrelentingly, while (until recently) “White” reacted passively and acquiescently, if at all. As this strategic sociopolitical declension unfolds, a growing number of onlookers are awakened to this insidious scheme and its woeful consequences. We realize that inaction is not an option. When you’re in “check,” you either move with urgency or capitulate. And when your domain and its treasured heritage are about to fall to a malevolent aggressor, it’s better to know it than not to, and better late than never. We know it now. Meanwhile, nearly every building block vital to a healthy society has been removed one by one, not unlike a game of Jenga. If we fail to act, how long before it all comes tumbling down?
