TEA PARTY EXPRESS II COLLECTS THOUSANDS OF LETTERS OPPOSING PELOSI HEALTHCARE PLAN

LEADERS VOW TO KILL THE BILL!

(FROM THE ROAD IN MONTANA) – Tea Party Express II: Countdown to Judgment Day (www.TeaPartyExpress.org) has stepped up a campaign during its national tour to defeat the proposed hostile takeover of the healthcare industry by the Pelosi/Reid led congress.

For the past week of Tea Party Express II rallies, citizens have been using provided tables, paper, and envelopes to write letters to their local members of the House and Senate – expressing their concern and frustration with ongoing encroachment into the lives of private citizens, and continued takeover of private industry by the Obama administration. So far thousands of letters have been collected, and will be hand-delivered to the politicians directly.

The effort is being spearheaded by Tea Party Express tour participant, Amy Kremer, who has been a lead organizer in the tea party movement since it formed in February. “Americans are furious over this. They are opposed to the government pushing socialistic policies, but don’t always know how to let their voices be heard. We are continuing to collect letters and will deliver them like a tidal wave to congress” said Kremer.

The Tea Party Express II is a 19-day, 7,000-mile journey across the country with a caravan of vehicles holding tea party rallies in 38 cities across America. The Tea Party Express is advocating for less government spending, an end to the bailouts, lower taxes, opposition to government-run healthcare and opposition to the growth in the size and intrusiveness of government in general.
