New information obtained by and reported in Jennifer Griffin’s FOXNews article today, says sources on the ground the night of the “Islamic terrorist attack” on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, state that several urgent requests for military back-up were made by them, from the CIA annex, one mile away, beginning after the first shots were heard at 9:40 p.m. local time.
According to them … “U.S. officials” denied all of their requests.
In fact, during what would turn out to be a series of attacks over seven hours, these same ‘officials’ also told the CIA operators–twice–to “stand down,” and not go to the aide of Ambassador Stevens’ team.
But, the character and honor of ex-Navy SEAL Tyrone Woods, could not suffer this ‘official’ reticence any longer, and he voluntarily ‘disobeyed’ their commands, left his post at the CIA ‘annex’ compound–and sped to the Consulate in answer the terrified cries for help they had been receiving from Ambassador Christopher Stevens.
Later that evening, fellow ex-Navy SEAL Glen Doherty, who was a member of the Global Response Staff (GRS) in Tripoli, joined Woods after he returned to the CIA annex.
These sources report that the CIA team was in constant radio contact with their headquarters, while at least one member was on the roof of the annex manning a heavy machine gun; then, mortar fire begin hitting the CIA compound.
It was further reported that the security officer had the mortar’s position ‘painted’ with a laser sight on the target, and repeatedly requested fire from a Specter gunship, whose mission it is to provide airborne firepower to Spec Ops teams involved in intense firefights on the ground.
The attack on the CIA annex lasted more than four hours, which many believe was enough time send air support from Sigonella Air base, just 480 miles away in southern Italy.
Griffin also reports that two separate ‘Tier One’ special operations forces, including Delta Force operators, were ordered to ‘wait.’
In the end, Woods and Doherty were killed by an enemy mortar attack at approximately 4 pm local time, where although the first round landed outside the annex–the three following rounds found their target.
Griffin reports speaking with sources familiar with Special Operations, who stated that this seven hour attack ‘window’ represented more than ample time for U.S. military back-up to arrive from nearby bases in Europe, and destroy all of the enemy attackers.
So, it appears as though Woods and Doherty likely sacrificed their lives that evening, in an attempt to ‘buy time’ for a ‘rescue mission’–which was ‘denied’ three times over six hours by the Obama administration, because he was busy campaigning and entertaining in Las Vegas.
As a result of these new troubling new developments, Charles Woods, the father of Tyrone Woods, decided to ‘break his silence,’ contacting Glenn Beck and holding an on air telephone interview, as reported in Jason Howerton’s article in The Blaze yesterday.
Woods wished to ‘recount’ his experiences with President Obama, VP Biden and Hillary Clinton, at the coffin return ceremony, about a month ago at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland.
As to his assessment of President Barack Obama’s behavior toward him at the ceremony, Woods, a long time judge with thousands of trials and decisions of guilt under his belt, relayed this:
When he finally came over to where we were, I could tell that he was rather conflicted, a person who was not at peace with himself. Shaking hands with him, quite frankly, was like shaking hands with a dead fish. His face was pointed towards me but he would not look me in the eye, his eyes were over my shoulder.
I could tell that he was not sorry. [His ‘demeanor’ indicated] He had no remorse.
Then he recounted a ‘disturbing’ dialog from Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, after she apologized to him for his loss, declared that the U.S. would:
[M]ake sure that the person who made that film is arrested and prosecuted.
In reference to the feeble anti-Muslim YouTube video that Clinton and the Obama administration paraded around for two weeks as the ’cause’ for the Benghazi attack.
When she said that, I could tell that she was not telling me the truth.
Finally, and as usual, Joe Biden could not have been more disgusting toward Woods, when he approached the grieving family, and in a ‘loud and boisterous voice’ (which no doubt echoed throughout the entire hanger) said:
Did your son always have balls the size of cue balls?
To which Woods rhetorically asked:
Are these the words of someone who is sorry?
Now, you be the judge.
Sir, think this through. One seal is firing a machine gun. It would make sense for the other seal to be using a rifle or a grenade launcher. What does he do? He paints the target with a laser. Put it together. THE AIR ASSETS WERE ALREADY IN PLACE. We know at least one drone was overhead providing video. Guess what, there was another drone with a hellfire.
This is not a story about the president refusing to send help (which is true). The scandal is the president denied permission for the drone OVERHEAD to take out a designated target. And this mortar crew is what killed the Seals. THAT IS THE STORY.
