RASMUSSEN: TARKANIAN NOW CLEAR TOP OPPONENT VS. REID 50%-36%; TARKANIAN ONLY CANDIDATE WHO IS NET FAVORABLE

Today’s new Rasmussen Reports survey contains more confirmation that Republican Danny Tarkanian is in the best position of all GOP primary candidates to defeat Harry Reid.

  • Lowden 48% (second consecutive drop in this survey)
  • Reid 36%

Favorability (strong fav/strong unfav):

  • Tarkanian 20%-10%
  • Lowden 8%-9% (net negative)
  • Reid 23%-47% (net negative)

A recently released Mason-Dixon survey of the GOP primary shows currently conservative Tarkanian now leads the establishment-backed candidate Lowden.

  • Lowden 26%
