Here’s an old FR thread with an even older booklet written in 1938. Called “The Revolution Was”, by Garret Garrett, a conservative writer back in the day.
Just like your cartoon (well, much longer!), EVERYTHING that Garret describes about FDR can be said about Obama. It is not that unbelievable when one figures that to a Marxist like Obama, FDR had the correct, and highly successful, model to follow. He just didn’t go far enough.
