1. It’s tempting to say she’s stupid. Sadly, I don’t think that’s the case.

   Contrariwise . . .

   She believes the REST of us are stupid.

   Although, you know, it occurs to me that there ARE political “theoreticians” who are convinced that if they just use a bigger hammer, reality will finally conform to the theory.

   Is it possible that someone so clever is being smart with bad data? We have a computer term for that kind of thinking: Garbage In, Garbage Out. The finest computing machinery in the world can’t give right answers if you keep feeding it crap.

   Sad, really.

   Maybe, just maybe, she has been fed so much crap at an early age that her computing machinery is destined to cough up the same wrong answers for the rest of her life.

   What would be sadder is if, for the rest of her life, she were allowed to impose her wrong answers on the rest of us.

   Let’s not, and say we did.
