Greens are basically “reds” in disguise.

Derek Wall is a British economics lecturer and writer. He was U.K. Green Party Principal Speaker from 2006 to 2007 and made a bid for the party’s deputy leadership earlier this year.

Derek works with greens globally including Cuban activist Roberto Perez, former New Zealand Green MP Nandor Tanczos and indigenous leader Hugo Blanco.

Derek is a founder of the Ecosocialist International and Green Left.

Derek believes we must have social justice and ecology and that climate change threatens us all.

Derek also claims that in 1995, his campaigning helped prevent the execution of US death row prisoner and convicted cop killer Mumia Abu-Jamal.

Here’s dear wee Derek speaking at the Coalition of Resistance Conference, November 27, 2010.
