Three supervisors in the murderous Fast and Furious GunWalker scheme have been promoted. P.R.O.M.O.T.E.D.

What do you do when you failed to silence some of those at the top that have perhaps implicated superiors (Department of Justice)? You learn quickly, promote two field supervisors who managed the program out of Phoenix, and the deputy director for the West and get them the heck to Washington D.C. – pronto. Stonewalling investigations depends on putting the mighty hammer of Obama justice on those who might hurt you. Once in the lair, Holder has more control over who answers subpoenaes and who doesn’t.

Fast and Furious – GunWalker

Pullout quote:

Until Attorney General (Eric) Holder and Justice Department officials come clean on all alleged gun-walking operations, including a detailed response to allegations of a Texas-based scheme, it is inconceivable to reward those who spearheaded this disastrous operation with cushy desks in Washington… ~ Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, member of Senate Judiciary Committee.

William Newell – Phoenix Division Supervisor

William G. McMahon – Deputy Director of West

Fox News:

The three supervisors — William Newell and David Voth, both field supervisors who managed the program out of the agencys Phoenix office, and William McMahon, who was the ATFs deputy director of operations in the West — are being transferred to Washington for new management positions at the agency’s headquarters, the newspaper reported.

I could find no photo of David Voth, but you might remember when the first whistleblower, Agent John Dodson, said when he raised his concerns about weapons going over the border with AFT assistance, the response was this:

If you don’t think this is fun you’re in the wrong line of work period! This is the pinnacle of domestic U.S. law enforcement techniques. After this the tool box is empty. Maybe the Maricopa County Jail is hiring detention officers and you can get paid $30,000 (instead of $100,000) to serve lunch to inmates all day. Read Voth’s letter here.

Sounds like someone Eric Holder will want to keep a close eye on, doesn’t it? Best way to do that is give Voth a promotion and park him near Holder’s desk in our Nation’s capitol.
