Iowa. Romney.
It’s already underway. The systematic destruction of the competition. Welcome to John McCain redux. Romney’s going to be the nominee, and you’d just better like it, bubba. The machine is in full play.
Will Iowa be the stopgap between the GOP establishment combine (including Karl Rove, Roger Ailes, K Street, et al) saving us from a Romney certainty?

Tonight — A look at Iowa with Emerson College cub reporters on the ground who will be calling in with their reports about Bachmann, Gingrich, Santorum, Paul, Perry, Romney. And the Occupiers.
Also… our Capitol Hill Insider Elizabeth Letchworth of GradeGov: POTUS is going to raise the debt limit again before Congress comes back in January.
Hi Techquad – I don’t care for Newt or Mitt because they are both Progressives on the Right. Having said that, I will vote whoever the Republican Party puts forth. There’s no way I will vote third party. Obama must not be reelected – our Constitution and Republic will not survive another four years of Obama.
The point is McCain was a pussy cat, and this is a real cat fight.
We need a stronger candidate to do the battles of the election. The stronger and more vigor from a candidate, the more others will join him in electing Senators and Congressmen to both houses. (Ladies too, P/c)
Election Primaries bring out the best and worst of a person, his / her background and etc.
The mistakes of the past are in every human, and the how did I recover and how quickly the response, that is the question.
Newt has the strength, the moral courage and the knowledge to get a job done. His past has shown him to be a leader. Don’t bring a knife to a gun fight…remember hearing that lately, but we are in the silly season, picking a leader.. If Newt is not selected, my second choice is Mitt, not that I really want him, but he is far better than Obummmer.
One who must be respected world wide and project the power of the office, in a timely manner. Obama dithering is a shame this country will face for decades.
We need to take another look at Newt. Art Lauffer’s endorsement is ‘right on.’ I prefer a surgeon who has already succesfully preformed a heart transplant, than one who says he can but actually, never has done one.
Romney has questionable positions on:
1. Obamacare…”an exemption for every state”…. ? Why, so he can make improvements to this socialistic entitlement?
2. Taxation… “reduce corporate and individual taxes’…? Instead of revamping and wiping away many old exempemptions.
3. Immigration… “Securing the border”. YES. “e-Verify”. Yes. ? How will we really deal with those who have been hear 20-25 years?
