GSA Inspector General’s Report: Obama Admin. spending like royalty

The hypocritical irony just keeps flowing from the White House to the point where I am certain that the Chicago Gang, the “White House,” and Jay Carney have no credibility left whatsoever, when trying to “spin” negative facts into pluses for President Obama’s reelection campaign.

The “eye” of the latest perfect storm hit today, with President Obama giving a speech before 900 editors and publishers after The Associated Press’ annual meeting, wherein he attacked and demonized the second annual budget produced by Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI), according to a FOXNews article today.

“It’s a Trojan horse. Disguised as deficit reduction plan, it’s really an attempt to impose a radical vision on our country,” Obama said. “It’s nothing but thinly veiled social Darwinism.”

He went on to say the plan is “antithetical to our entire history.”

On Monday, before the speech today, when the text of the speech was released, Congressman Ryan’s spokesman, Conor Sweeney, wasted no time in returning fire:

“For four years the president has refused to honestly confront the most predictable economic crisis in our history.”

“Instead, he has accelerated the nation toward this looming debt-fueled crisis with reckless budgets, always accompanied by partisan speeches that seek to divide the nation, in order to distract from his legacy of broken promises.”

“If he thinks there is no political price to pay for this total abdication of leadership, he is due for a rude awakening.”

President Obama’s indictment of the House Republican’s budget seems incredibly audacious, especially as his Administration has never passed a budget, and their own financial legerdemain has been a certified failure.

And, this past month is no exception.

Next up, President Obama’s elder daughter, who is just 13 years old, was caught in full spring break mode, hosting 12 girlfriends on a junket to Oaxaca, Mexico, ala Paris Hilton, except that hers included the full protection of 25 secret service agents, as well as local Mexican law enforcement–no doubt because the U.S. State Department has warned all Americans to stay away from 14 out of 31 of Mexico’s states due to drug cartel violence, according to a March 19th Daily Caller article.

Since the March 19th Agence France-Presse article, it appears that many of the news outlets that picked up the story and pictures have since scrubbed it, according to research by the Daily Caller, including The Huffington Post, International Business Times, The Australian, The Telegraph and Global Grind.

One blogger postulated that the trip cost more than the average American earns in a lifetime.

Yesterday, President Obama took it on the chin again, when Solar Trust for America–another California green energy start up he championed–declared bankruptcy, just a year after having received $2.1 billion in conditional loan guarantees from the Department of Energy, which Energy Secretary Steven Chu described as, “the largest amount ever offered to a solar project,” according to Joel Gerhke’s Washington Examiner article yesterday.

Finally, the monthly grand prize winner is the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA).

The GSA manages all government property and entities around the country, through 12,554 employees and a $20.9 billion annual operating budget–presumably with an eye to austerity.

Accordingly, it is incredible that upper management ‘self-planned’ their annual convention with such opulence that it rivaled Simon Cowl’s (creator of American Idol) 40th birthday party.

When it was all said and done, their own Inspector General reported that they had spent a whopping $820,000 wining, dining and otherwise pampering their top 300 employees ($2,733 pp) at the M Resort Spa and Casino–located in Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s hometown of Henderson, Nevada, according to a FOXNews article today.

The report lamented…

“As the agency Congress has entrusted with developing the rules followed by other federal agencies for conferences, GSA has a special responsibility to set an example, and that did not occur here.”

In the end, Martha Johnson, GSA chief, could not save her own job, even after sacrificing Public Buildings Service Chief Robert Peck, and her own top adviser, Stephen Leeds.

Ms. Johnson included these parting words in her resignation letter…

“I feel I must step aside as administrator so that the agency can move forward at this time with a fresh leadership team … Collectively, the people of GSA now must review, repair and rebuild.”

Seems like a perfect prescription for President Barack Obama and his Administration too.


Common sense: WROL-The Neighborhood Crisis Plan

Hello my NoisyRoom friends! How are you? Today, let’s look into the neighborhood you live in and your neighbors that are around you… do you really know any of them? Do they know you? Did you give them a house warming welcome when they moved in? We are going to talk about some basic rule of thumb ideas for a neighborhood crisis plan during a natural disaster. Like Katrina or like a WROL situation… Like London went through last year. And make no mistake, that is going to happen sooner than later here. We all need to pull together on this regardless of political and religious beliefs.


Look at and around your neighborhood and let me ask you this… is it a newly built area? Is it in an open area or in a cul-de-sac? Is it an apartment unit or a trailer park? Is it near a main freeway/highway or is it in the middle of nowhere with few access roads? All of these considerations are a vital part of the crisis plan.

Your neighborhood and surroundings will determine what kind of security you will use and the type of firearms, if any, you might employ (hint: if in a close knit trailer park, I would not carry a .357 magnum and a .308 rifle – way too much power).

Are there areas you can use as checkpoints or a fall back position? Is there a blind spot a person or a large group can out flank you with? Are there tool or storage sheds or public bathrooms/showers someone could hide out in?

The physical makeup of each kind of neighborhood will help with these considerations. It will determine how you will patrol, investigate and defend this area in times of crisis. It would not hurt for you to sometime during the week walk around, look around and map out the neighborhood. Find the weak points, ways in and out. You might even drive around and get the fastest routes in and out, as well as the shortcuts down.


So, what’s the overall makeup of your neighbors? Do you have a lot of divorced single parents? Maybe some retired military or active police live there? Are they newly moved in newlyweds? Maybe newly sworn in immigrants? (I still find these people so interesting to know and talk to.) It would behoove you to know them and talk to them. A great way of doing this is to have a summertime “know your neighbors” block party, potluck dinner. This is a fun, wholesome and inexpensive way to get the whole neighborhood together to talk and have a great time. You will get to know each other better and watch the kids and dogs wear each other out.

Then after a couple of these parties, you can get them together and have crisis plan neighborhood meetings. Most of them will be open to this idea, but be prepared that some might think it’s radical and over the top. That’s fine… nothing you can do about that. During this meeting, ask these questions or talk about: What skill sets and or what life experience does each neighbor bring to the table? What are their strong points or weak points? Are they in the right frame of mind set? Are they prepared or looking into being prepared? What do they do for a living and how would this help the neighborhood? Are they willing to teach others? Are they willing to learn new skill sets?

These are a few small suggestions on getting your neighborhood together for forming lasting bonds and memories. It will also help you get a crisis plan going to help each other out when the S.H.T.F. In most cases, most neighborhoods will be cut off with no services and it’s dangerous to wait for FEMA or any other government agencies for help. AP Chairman Comes Close to Endorsing Obama

The chairman of the Associated Press news agency (AP), Dean Singleton, left little doubt who he is supporting for president in 2012. From the tone and words of his introduction today of President Obama, who was speaking to an AP luncheon, to the softball questions he asked following the speech, there could be no doubt that he wants to see Barack Obama reelected.

The AP is a not-for-profit cooperative news agency that was founded in 1845 by five newspapers who wanted to pool their resources in covering the Mexican-American War. It has grown and evolved to become the largest and most widely recognized U.S.-based news agency. Unlike newspapers like The New York Times and Washington Post, the two most important newspapers that comprise the AP, it generally strives to at least maintain the appearance of reporting without a political agenda. But too often they don’t live up to that standard.

As we pointed out last year, the Associated Press issued a memo to its employees about expressing their personal views on various issues of the day. The concern was that by doing so, in that case on Facebook or Twitter, they were giving ammunition to those who were critical of the AP for being biased. But later on we cited an internal memo that was leaked which revealed that the AP was seeking to have its journalists write with more of a “voice,” while not doing so at the expense of fair and balanced journalism. The idea was that modern journalism was often making their work seem less relevant, with less shelf-life.

In his introduction, Singleton referred to what he called Obama’s “always genteel way” and took obvious potshots at his critics. He said that:

“As president, he inherited the headwinds of the worst economic recession since the great depression. He pushed through congress the biggest economic recovery plan in history and led a government reorganization of two of the big three American automakers to save them from oblivion. He pursued domestic and foreign policy agendas that are controversial to many, highlighted by his signature into law of the most comprehensive health care legislation in history. And the budget plans proposed by the president on the one hand and Republicans on the other hand aren’t even on the same planet.”

He concluded the intro with, “We’re very honored today to have the man currently holding the office and aspiring for it for another term, and with apologies to Al Green, my new favorite singer.”

This brought to mind Bernard Goldberg’s 2009 book, A Slobbering Love Affair: The True (and Pathetic) Story of the Torrid Romance Between Barack Obama and the Mainstream Media. And it is a reminder of what the Republican presidential nominee will be up against in his bid to unseat the President.

Obama Demands SCOTUS become Rubber Stamp for his Policies

Like the MCP (Master Control Program) in TRON 1, Obama has already sucked the life out of Congressional members. That once co-equal (per the US Constitution) branch of the US Government is no longer viable and has become little more that a “me too” for Dictator-in-Chief Obama’s destructive and malevolent policies and behaviors. Whether its members were threatened with harm or coerced with very-large bribes, they work for Obama and the New World Order now. The citizens of the USA have been reduced to mere chattel and are currently being treated as such. If you will recall, Speaker of the House John Boehner (after several good on-camera cry-fests) lost no time before he willingly caved to any and all of Obama’s demands and still maintains that personal posture and proclivity today.

Note: Instead of exhibiting any conservative tendencies–whatsoever–Boehner appears to be Marxist San-Fran-Nan in drag.

Now, however, Obama has decided it’s time to set his attention onto the third co-equal branch of government and is in the process of attacking and beginning to destroy the power, purview and will of the Supreme Court of the United States. As has been affected since the inception of the US Supreme Court, after SCOTUS hears oral arguments (this time regarding ObamaCare) from both the US Government’s and the opposition’s attorneys, the Associate Justices take a preliminary vote. These votes were–prior to Obama’s reign over the American people–kept secret until both minority and majority opinions could be pondered and, eventually, put to text.

Note: With the two recent Obama appointees to the High Court, we cannot assume that is still the case and one or both may have already alerted their Master.

In his usual arrogant and condescending manner, Obama–this week–slammed the Associate Justices as being an “unelected group of people” and indicated it was not even their business (unless they provide no more than a rubber-stamp for and to his policies and programs) to determine anything about ObamaCare…as it was his bill and passed by Congress (but, only the Democrat-controlled Congress). Obama’s exact words are: “I just remind conservative commentators that for years, what we’ve heard is the biggest problem on the bench was judicial activism or a lack of judicial restraint, that an unelected group of people would somehow overturn a duly constituted and passed law. Well, this is a good example. And I’m pretty confident that this Court will recognize that and not take that step.”

Note: Obama’s disdain–if not hatred–for all who attempt to uphold the US Constitution is both palpable and truly breathtaking.

Only one of the problems with Obama’s ludicrous statement is that it is the job of SCOTUS to rule upon the Constitutionality of legislation brought to it and if proven to be unconstitutional said legislation is overturned by the High Court. On the other hand, “judicial activism” occurs when judges (traditionally and 99.99999% of the time are leftist jurists) WRITE new laws. Obama knows this. Although the dictator may be certifiably insane he’s not stupid.

If SCOTUS has–as has Congress–been compromised by the Obama syndicate, we will know by June 2012. We-the-People who have studied the US Constitution for many years know that ObamaCare as written is unconstitutional and that the federal government forcing a population to engage in commerce and to buy anything said government demands amounts to a totalitarian form of government. The Obama syndicate–with its willing Marxist RINO partners–has already begun dissolving the First, Fourth and Fourteenth Amendments…and is tirelessly working to disarm us by trying all it illegally can (think “Fast and Furious”) to destroy the Second. Now, it is determined to fully implements its Stalinist USSR and/or NAZI Germany (Fourth Reich) programs.

If ObamaCare is upheld by SCOTUS and the Obama syndicate somehow manages to seize a second term, We-the-People and our country will be dead, anyway. And, by the way to you on the Left, unless you’re working directly for Obama, his syndicate’s crocodile will eat you too. Like it or not, we’re all in this together. Again, if you’re not willing to fight for Liberty, you doom yourself to die under Tyranny.
