In another indication of his service to the Russians, WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has told The New Internationalist magazine that the Swedish security services intercept 80 percent of Russian Internet traffic and share the information with the United States. The claim is making big news in Russia, where Assange is regarded as a hero for his charges and disclosures damaging to America and its allies. The Russian state news agency RIA Novosti trumpets Assange’s charges.
Assange is angry at Sweden because the government wants to extradite him from Britain to stand trial on sexual assault allegations. But Assange is also working for the Russian government, which has given him a visa, a television show on Russia Today (RT), and has announced that he should be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.
Significantly, RT has been hammering the Swedish government for “heading from neutrality to NATO” and taking too much of a pro-American stance in foreign policy. “Swedes are already venting anger at their government for committing troops to Afghanistan, and feel their national interests are being sacrificed for NATO and the US,” an RT report declared. RT quoted an anti-NATO and anti-American activist from the Swedish “direct action for peace” group OFOG.
On April 1, hundreds of so-called “peace activists,” including dozens of Swedes, attempted to break into NATO headquarters in Brussels, Belgium.
A promo for the new Assange Russia Today show, “The World Tomorrow with Julian Assange,” insists that he wants to “keep journalism honest” and achieve the “maximum political impact” by releasing “full source material.”
But Assange has been anything but honest about his own sources. For example, he insisted that he had no contact with U.S. Army intelligence analyst Bradley Manning, now on trial for treason, when evidence at Manning’s preliminary hearing demonstrated correspondence and communication between the two. Manning is accused of leaking hundreds of thousands of documents to WikiLeaks, some of them dealing with counter-terrorism and sensitive national security matters.
Perhaps in a preview of what he intends to talk about on his own RT program, Assange attacked alleged Swedish cooperation with the U.S. in his interview with The New Internationalist, saying that “…the FRA [Försvarets Radioanstalt], which is the big spy agency in Sweden, intercepts 80 per cent of Russian internet traffic and they sell it on to the national security agency in the US.”
Such a claim can only serve the purposes of those, like the Russian government, who object to cooperation with the U.S. on intelligence matters.
The FRA, the National Defense Radio Establishment, is dedicated to the protection of Sweden and Swedish interests and can monitor telephone and Internet traffic. Sweden joined NATO’s Partnership for Peace framework in 1994 and may consider full membership in NATO, regarded as an anti-Soviet alliance during the days of the Cold War.
Interestingly, an official release from WikiLeaks describes Assange as “one of the world’s most recognizable revolutionary figures” and says he will be interviewing on his new RT show “key political players, thinkers and revolutionaries from around the world.”
In the context of giving an interview to The New Internationalist, such a description has to be viewed as being in cahoots with the international pro-communist Left. The publication has run such articles as “The Meaning Of Che,” describing the ruthless associate of Fidel Castro as having a “selfless dedication to the poor and the oppressed.”
The New Internationalist claims it focuses attention “on the unjust relationship between the powerful and the powerless worldwide in the fight for global justice.” But the interview with Assange demonstrates the anti-American bent of the magazine and Assange. It did not ask about his failure to disclose documents on corruption in Russia that he had promised to release.
Asked if WikiLeaks aims for “some kind of global balance of the countries whose secrets they release” and if “there [is] a policy of focusing on some countries and states in particular,” Assange said, “WikiLeaks is entirely source-driven—sources come to us with their material, and we publish. And we promise to publish everything that is given to us, provided it meets our editorial criteria: that the material is of diplomatic, political, ethical or historic significance, has not been published before, and there is some kind of force preventing its publication: a physical or legal threat, or it has been censored recently—it might have been published but then it was unpublished.”
But this doesn’t make any sense, in light of Assange’s relationship with the Russian government and his failure to hold the Moscow regime accountable for its domestic and international policies. Fred Weir of the Christian Science Monitor wrote, “Worries that WikiLeaks might dump a lot of embarrassing material about the Russian government into Internet never panned out.”
The “worries” cited by Weir had come from the Kremlin, which somehow managed to convince Assange not to publish the material. One factor may have been threats against Assange, and his knowledge of how Russian journalists who probe too deeply into Kremlin affairs are killed. But another factor may have been the prospect of working with the Kremlin. Moscow-funded Russia Today subsequently hired Assange to do a TV show.
Before going over to the Kremlin’s side, Assange had told the pro-Russian government Izvestia newspaper, “We have [compromising materials] about Russia, about your government and businessmen. But not as much as we’d like… We will publish these materials soon.” Another WikiLeaks spokesperson, Kristinn Hrafnsson, was quoted as saying, “Russians are going to find out a lot of interesting facts about their country.” None of this materialized.
According to the book WikiLeaks: Inside Julian Assange’s War on Secrecy, Assange sought funds from billionaire George Soros. Assange did not specifically deny this in an interview with the Indian paper afaqs! when asked about support from Soros, but claimed that “(It is common) in the US to allege George Soros is behind everything. To be fair, the only vaguely conspiratorial things that George Soros has been behind is some of the ‘Colour Revolutions’ in Eastern Europe about five or six years ago that I know about.”
But if Soros did indeed play a role in opening up the former Soviet bloc, as Assange implies, it is certainly a fact that the situation in the former Soviet Union is moving in the opposite direction.
Assange’s statement, of course, obscures the nature of Soros and his international operations, which span the globe and have been funded, according to his own estimate, to the tune of almost $8 billion. Most of that money in the U.S. has been funneled into the coffers of what is called the progressive Left.
Soros funding for WikiLeaks has not been confirmed. However, a Soros-funded group, the Center for Constitutional Rights, is currently defending Assange free of charge in the U.S. and sends legal representatives to the Bradley Manning trial. And another Soros-funded group, the Alliance for Global Justice, is the financial sponsor of the Bradley Manning Support Network.
WikiLeaks has rejected the idea that Assange is subservient to Moscow because of his new RT television show, saying, “Assange show is independently produced and Assange has control. Broadcasters license, only.”
But this is similar to what we were told by Thom Hartmann, a major figure in the U.S. progressive movement who also has a show on RT. During a filmed interview, which went badly for Hartmann, who tried to grab the camera, he was forced to concede that the Russian government was paying him directly. Hartmann, however, had also tried to claim that he was somehow independent of the Kremlin because of the nature of his contract.
Assange told The New Internationalist that he was concerned about “the huge expansion by state intelligence agencies, which are now monitoring nearly every border and nearly every internet traffic flow,” but exhibited no concern for what is happening in Russia, where the KGB has become the FSB, the Federal Security Service. Former KGB Lieutenant Colonel Konstantin Preobrazhensky’s book, FSB’s New Trojan Horse: Americans of Russian Descent, describes how the intelligence service played a key role in smothering an emerging independent media in Russia and how it operates inside the United States.
Preobrazhensky has described RT, which has studios in Washington, D.C., as a channel for disinformation and propaganda from the Russian intelligence services. He appears in the trailer for a new film titled “KGB Does Not Exist.”

President Barack Obama burned up millions in taxpayer dollars again yesterday, by coming to South Florida to “give a policy speech” [campaign pitch], on his going-no-where “Buffett Rule,” a surtax on millionaires and billionaires.
This amounts to a punitive tax on successful Americans who make $1 million or more, by raising their minimum federal income tax rate to 30 percent–seemingly so Obama can “stick it” to the man for “the people,” in his endless pursuit of class warfare.
However, its’ flagrance is found in its’ futility, as estimates, reported this morning on Fox and Friends, have shown that the additional $4 billion in tax revenue it would generate each year–offsets just a single day of U.S. deficit spending.
In maintaining his usual preference, he chose Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, to give his shirtsleeve-speech before a group of mostly college students–obviously the only place he can be assured of finding a minimally enthusiastic audience, while truly feeling like “the adult in the room.”
President Obama was … “[h]oping to draw a sharp contrast with Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney, according to an Associated Press article yesterday.
So, Barack Obama is attempting to sell the American people on the so-called … “stark difference” … between he, and presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney, who he admonishes as being super rich and “out-of-touch” with the common man.
There are only two things standing in the way of this concept ultimately working…off campus.
John Kerry and John Edwards–the Democrat party POTUS and Vice POTUS candidates just eight short years ago, in 2004.
Why?
Briefly, John Kerry’s mother was a member of the famously successful and wealthy Forbes [magazine] family, and his father was high up in the federal government. As such, he attended elite private schools both here and in Europe, while spending his summers at the Forbes summer estate in Brittany (NW coast of France).
In May 1995, on tony Nantucket Island, Kerry married his second wife, Teresa Heinz-Kerry. She was the second wife of now deceased Sen. Heinz (R-PA), who became heiress to the Heinz food fortune–estimated, ironically, in the annual Forbes 400 List in 2004, at between $750 million to $ 3.2 billion.
Even though Kerry’s individual net worth was estimated at just $1 million, according to statements he shared in a debate with John McCain during his campaign, such as … “we married well,” further comments made it sound as though he and Teresa may possibly have more homes around the world than Mitt Romney and John McCain combined.
John Edwards, came from more modest beginnings, but became a successful personal injury lawyer enabling him to amass an estimated net worth [in 2007] of $29.5 million, according to a May 17, 2007 CNN Politics article.
Since October 2007, with Enquirer magazine on the scent, Edward’s notoriety has come mostly from his affair, which produced a love child with campaign intern Rielle Hunter, which he finally, publicly admitted to on January 21, 2010. His wife Elizabeth, who had been battling breast cancer, legally separated from him on that day, intending to file for divorce after the mandatory one-year waiting period, but succumbed to her cancer on December 7, 2010.
As of late, on March 13, 2012, the Federal Election Commission ordered Edwards to return $2.1 million in campaign matching funds, after they determined Edward’s had used $1 million in political donations to hide the affair and the child.
Tomorrow, April 12, 2012, unless delayed again, jury selection is to begin for Edward’s U.S. District Court trial in North Carolina, stemming from a June 3, 2011 indictment on six felony charges–he faces up to 30 years in federal prison and a $1.5 million fine.
No thinking person can escape this glaring hypocrisy.
As such, maybe half of the 30 percent of voters, who are Democrats, could be intellectually corrupt enough to completely ignore the Kerry-Edwards in 2004 ticket like it never existed.
However, according to numerous polls, nearly two-thirds Independents, who represent 60 percent of all voters, care a lot more about jobs, and the $4 per gallon gasoline prices that are choking off their discretionary spending.
When combined with all 30 percent of Americans, who are Republican voters, who are definitely driven by the economic failures and large national debt–it will be game over for Barack Obama in November.

T F Stern’s Rantings
I ran across a photo by Lexie Garrett this morning, a short piece of advice from Thomas S. Monson, President of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The more I thought about it, the more its simple message needed to be shared.
“Choose your Friends with caution; Plan your Future with purpose & Frame your life with Faith.”
Those we associate with ultimately determine the kind of people we want to be. I figured out a long time ago that I’d rather be considered the dull pointed pencil in the box; that meant that all the others would be able to sharpen my skills. Eventually, rubbing shoulders with good people, folks who have refined tastes in music, literature and the arts, their attributes will become my own; at least that’s the plan.
“…at least that’s the plan;” how’s that for a smooth transition to the next part of Thomas Monson’s advice? I heard a talk at General Conference several years ago; wish I knew who said it. It was either Gordon B. Hinckley or Thomas S. Monson (learning how to use a search engine would be nice); regarding his observation of a young hitchhiker. The fellow had his thumb out looking for a ride, but when asked which direction he was headed the young man said something to the effect, “Doesn’t matter, anywhere will do.” How sad; the young man had no plan of action, no dream to drive him steadily forward towards its accomplishment. He was adrift on the current as a leaf with no purpose.
It’s been said that a bad plan is better than no plan at all. Motivational speaker Zig Ziglar told the story of a young man, it may have been his brother, who boldly stated he was going to have the best year in sales ever; but when asked what he’d done the year before he didn’t know.
Zig went on to say, “If you don’t keep good records how will you know you’re improving?”
Keep a journal, write down what you did, how many people you talked to, record your sales and your expenses in such a way as to be able to look back and mark your progress. Your mind will kick into the next gear once you give it an incentive; then watch how quickly you reach your goals.
The same can be done with other aspects of your life. Did you say your prayers, read your scriptures, call your folks to tell them how much they mean to you or any number of individual entries to mark your progress toward becoming a better individual? Write these down. How else will your brain know these activities are important, important enough to have been written down? There is a method to this madness; training your brain to move you in a specific direction rather than letting it sit in neutral while the rest of your life floats by.
I was about to say, “Trust me, it works.” Wouldn’t that be almost the same as saying, “Frame your life with Faith?” For years I’ve kept a telephone message book to record each business call that came in; the date, customer’s name, request for type of service and the amount quoted. At the end of the day each entry would be checked off as completed or a line drawn through it if the call never came to fruition. Along the edge of the book was a running total of sales for that week so I could determine how close our small business was to “projected budget.” I knew at a glance how much money was coming in and since most of our expenses remain the same, these figures showed our progress toward profitability.
Even when business takes a downward turn, having faith in a system that has worked in the past makes it easier to plan for the future. Having been in business for well over thirty years, I can remember having had some rather depressing sales figures; but they were always followed by a return to profitability as long as I continued to work. Some of you are saying, “Work, I knew there was a catch.” Yes, all this requires effort.
Have a little faith; after all, your Father in Heaven knows your needs and desires.
“Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.
But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.”
Break time is over, time to get on with your life. Figure out who you’re going to spend time with, folks who will improve your life and lift you to the next level. Figure out what you’re going to do with the limited time you have and just do it. Have a little faith and get back with me in a few years to compare notes.

Hi everyone! Hope you have had a good week. I think I am about to ruin it for you. I am celebrating the 100th anniversary of the government-created manufactured crisis (joking). If you have seen REVENGE OF THE SITH, you know that Palpatine started a war and lied about the revolution of the Jedi in order to become a tyrant and destroy the Republic. Where did George Lucus get this story idea from? Well, besides being a filmmaker, he was a student of history, folklore and old myths of older cultures. Read the history of the Roman Empire before and after empire building, or the history of the 3rd Reich or maybe just maybe, read about America’s past 100 years and you will find the pattern. Oh, I am so sorry kid… you can’t remember what happened waaaay back, 11 years ago? Let’s review these fake and phony emergencies and see the results together.
CRISIS OF THE DICTATOR
Joseph Stalin was really threatened by the Ukraine back in the 1940s… so much that he created a famine and food shortages by taking over every farm he could get his hands on, repossessed all farm surpluses, punished any farmer who sold anything and exported all of their crops directly to the Soviet Army. The Ukrainians called this the HOLODOMER – meaning “killing by hunger,” also known as the TERROR FAMINE. Between 3 to 8 million Ukrainians died and many of them not only from hunger, but in some cases cannibalism by their own families. So, the next time someone spews out how awesome the Soviet Union treated its own people, just ask them to Google HOLODOMER and then get back to you on that.
Hitler was the master of the phony crisis. He pulled off multiple fake crises in his grab to invade, enslave Germany and of course, kill all of the non-Aryans. To rile up the German population against the Jews, Hitler circulated lies about the Jewish “Blood Debt” sacrifice or how the Jews are some kind of evil scheming businessmen. It has been my experience that the Jewish faith encourages honest and frugal business dealings, so this lie was more of a jealousy and envy problem that pretty much applies to all insecure Jew haters. With this crisis in place, the WEEK OF BROKEN GLASS was instigated with multiple murders, riots, rapes (in a strange twist of law, this was a punishable offense worthy of being kicked out of the Nazi Party, because a Nazi was not allowed sexual intercourse with Jews), pillaging of homes, businesses and churches.
Hitler, in order to get his invasion of Poland and Czechoslovakia positive public support and somewhat legal standing (PHANTOM MENACE reference “I will make it legal”), had prisoners dress up in opposing military uniforms and fake an attack on a Nazi outpost. Hitler would then say, “See those evil and dirty Poles and Czechs were trying to invade us! Let me hit them first.” Then there were all those so-called peace and alliance treaties that Hitler created to fake wanting peace in order to bide his time for a military invasion buildup and border positioning.
Chairman Mao created a second Terror Famine. In order to steal all the food he could for his army and the Chinese elites, he faked a population overcrowding problem to restrict food production for the people. The One Child Only Act enforced abortions. You would think with all the people Mao murdered on a daily basis, that the overpopulation excuse would not work after a while.
CRISIS OF THE PRESIDENT
On July 30th, 1916, in Jersey City on a small island that had an ammo storage warehouse, agents of the Kaiser era of Germany, planted explosives there and on transport ships. The explosion was so massive, the shock wave broke windows as far away as Virgina and some of the large artillery shells pierced the Statue of Liberty and did major damage. This was the first major attack on an American city in that century. Woodrow Wilson, saw an opportunity to use the Black Tom attack as a manufactured crisis to pit class warfare between Americans and big business. He blamed the Black Tom bomb on those evil capitalist industrialists instead of telling the truth.
Franklin Roosevelt was the Democrat’s professional phony crisis president and during his time in office, he created and phonied up many made up problems that never were reality. From the so-called food shortages that forced ration stamps, soup lines and an unconstitutional government agency, Roosevelt wound up burning farmland, paying farmers not to grow crops, exporting surplus to Russia and killing livestock by the millions in order for strict price controls to take effect. The ration books were also a form of massive fraud and theft as well. Let me remind you of the phony crisis of the dangers from the Japanese-Americans and their own unlawful internment during World War II. Instead of the free market getting people to work, Roosevelt had phony “shovel ready” economic stimulus make-work “jobs” and programs (sound familiar). These also fell under the heading of massive fraud and worthlessness.
Obama wanted to gin up a fake crisis of health care in America and was trying to get his own version of universal health care passed (just like Teddy Roosevelt, Hitler and Hillary before him). This bill increases the size of the IRS and approves a bigger budget for their SWAT team – perfect for all those high risk doctors offices out there. Then there’s the single payer clause that flat out violates the constitution and is under court review as we speak. Never let a crisis real or fake go to waste. Fast and Furious and Mexican cartels: Holder this was your great plan of creating a gun violence problem by selling massive amounts of guns to the very scumbags that will kill and rape you on sight. Then you thought you could keep it under the radar and no one would notice the police and border agents killed by these same guns you sold to the scumbags. I have two words for you: BLOW BACK… all politicians always suffer from SRC when it comes to blow back.
CRISIS OF THE RADICAL
Both the old and the New Black Panthers are birds of the same feather, but let’s just look at the so-called “NEW” party. These guys came into the news when they were filmed intimidating voters at voting sites and guys like this Nazi minded Shabazz are going around playing up the phony crisis of the white man’s extreme racism. We have to do violent things about it. Then when the Zimmerman/Martin shooting came into the spotlight and without any information or research, the ‘New” Panther Party put a bounty on Zimmerman. We know now that Zimmerman is a Hispanic guy who’s a registered Democrat who said “cold” and not “coon” on the 911 tape. Both the media and their race baiting pundits are all guilty of condemning him on TV and not through the courts of a faked crisis of racism.
