‘Just be Joe,’ was the marching order given by President Barack Obama to Vice President Joe Biden and, as expected, Joe followed it to the letter, in front of at least 43 million people, during the one and only Vice-Presidential Debate last night, nationally televised from Centre College in Danville, Kentucky.

Joe last ‘blessed’ the GOP little more than a week ago, by declaring that … ‘the middle class has been crushed during the past four years,’ which gave Gov. Mitt Romney one of the ‘poison-tipped’ arrows that struck the bulls eye on a doddering President Barack Obama during the first presidential debate.

Well, this morning, as expected, The White House is attempting to clean up another ‘mess in aisle 3,’ created by Joe last night at the opening bell, when debate moderator, ABC News’ Martha Raddatz, opened the debate with a question about the Libya ‘terrorist attack,’ according to a FOXNews article today.

When Vice President Biden was asked to address the ‘lack’ of security at the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya he proclaimed:

Well, we weren’t told they wanted more security there. We did not know they wanted more security again.

A direct ‘Joe quote’ reported in a separate FOXNews article today.

Too bad for Joe that two former State Department security officers had just testified before Chairman Darrell Issa’s (R-CA) Government Reform and Oversight Committee on Tuesday afternoon, that the Obama Administration, specifically the State Department, had been put on notice several times since January–supported by the identification of 230 separate attacks on diplomatic targets in Libya over the past 12 months, with two against the Benghazi compound as recently as June 6, 2012.

Remember, Eric Nordstrom, one of the [former] security officials, testified about his frustration at how their appeals [to the State Department] for more [security] resources were rebuffed, adding that he felt that [he was fighting] ‘the Taliban was inside the [State Department] building.’

And, Lt. Col. Andrew Wood, former head of a 16-member U.S. military team that helped protect the embassy in Tripoli, the other witness who testified before the committee, said:

We were fighting a losing battle. We couldn’t even keep what we had.

Ryan pinned Biden with these facts, in answer to Biden’s stance of Obama Administration ignorance, by declaring … “There were requests for extra security; those requests were not honored,” pointing out there should be Marines in Benghazi.

Then, in true Liberal style, Biden blamed the ‘intelligence community,’ who he said originally claimed the attack was just a protest spun out of control–rather than a coordinated terror strike.

That was exactly what we were told by the intelligence community. The intelligence community told us that. As they learned more facts about exactly what happened, they changed their assessment.

Too bad Joe can’t find anyone in the ‘intelligence community’ to back up his story, as again, two key security officials testified that the attack was recognizable as a ‘terrorist attack’ by the morning after.

Now that Jay Carney, White House Press Secretary has emerged from hiding from his role in the quickly unraveling ‘Libya massacre’ scandal over this past week, the perform what seems to be perennial post-operative surgery on what Joe ‘really meant,’ saying [lying] to the press:

[Joe] wasn’t talking about the administration writ large… he was speaking directly for himself and for the president. He meant the White House.

These kinds of issues are handled in the State Department. What I’m saying is that matters of security personnel are appropriately discussed and decided upon at the State Department.

Carney was obviously trying to, once again, carry on with President Obama’s narrative of ‘ignorance’ on the subject, which was probably included in the hundreds of unread ‘Daily Presidential Security Briefs’ littering the floor on his plane, ‘Campaign-One,’ and insulate himself and The White House from any responsibility in this deadly calamity.

Too bad for Barack and Joe that the excuse of being forever ‘clueless’ is still proper grounds for immediate termination–with notice to be served upon them both, November 7, 2012.
