Sleeping with the Saudis

By: Terresa Monroe-Hamilton

Last week was horrific with the Boston Marathon bombing claiming the lives of 3 and injuring several score. Two Chechen brothers, one a U.S. citizen, one not, were caught on video placing the bombs. The older brother (the non-citizen) was shot and killed by police (or by his younger brother driving over him, not sure which). His younger brother, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, got away and was later caught hiding in a boat. He was not Mirandized when he was caught because he was deemed a national threat. I’m sorry, but no matter what the scumbag did, he has rights as an American. It would seem that our politicians don’t give a flying crap about the Constitution any more. Just a short while ago, it was determined that he will not be tried as an enemy combatant, but as an American citizen. Time to lawyer up and the way things are going, I bet he stands a good chance of getting off or getting a greatly reduced sentence. He is being charged with using a weapon of mass destruction and could face the death penalty, but more likely will be pampered and honored in a cushy retreat by other Islamic radicals. Another item of interest – ask yourself why Putin was consulted by our President before and after the arrests. Just saying. Also ask yourself about the 12 person sleeper cell that is being hunted in connection to this bombing.

But as bad as that story is, I fear there is another that is even worse that is being covered up. There was someone arrested before the Chechen brothers were caught, a Saudi national by the name of Abdul Rahman Ali Alharbi. Rumor has it that he has strong connections to a powerful Saudi family and that he is a known terrorist. He also has many known terrorists in his family. But the Obama Administration has been doing all it can to muffle anything having to do with this “person of interest.” This kid just happened to be there at the finish line rooting for a runner and probably helping with the bombing. He is also on a terrorist watch list.

In January, Saudi travelers were given ‘preferred travel status’ by the U.S. Napolitano signed off on that. That means while regular Americans are treated like terrorists by the TSA, Saudi nationalists (remember 15 of the 19 bombers on 9-11 were Saudi nationals) get to walk right through security and into the U.S. Everything is upside down. Also remember, that after 9-11, President Bush let 140 Saudis in the U.S. get on a plane and go home when the rest of the country was shut down. Do the math. Hell, even a SWAG would do.

Here are the background facts from The Blaze:

  • A Saudi national originally identified as a “person of interest” in the Boston Marathon bombing was set to be deported under section 212 3B — “Security and related grounds” — “Terrorist activities” after the bombing.
  • As the story gained traction, TheBlaze’s Chief Content Officer Joel Cheatwood received word that the government may not deport the Saudi national, originally identified as Abdul Rahman Ali Alharbi.
  • Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano refused to answer questions on the subject when confronted by Rep. Jeff Duncan (R-SC) on Capitol Hill.
  • An ICE official said a different Saudi national is in custody, but is “in no way” connected to the bombings.
  • A congressional source, however, says that the file on Alharbi was created, that he was “linked” in some way to the Boston bombings (though it is unclear how), and that documents showing all this have been sent to Congress.
  • Key congressmen of the Committee on Homeland Security request a classified briefing with Napolitano.
  • Fox News’ Todd Starnes reports that Alharbi was allegedly flagged on a terrorist watch list and granted a student visa without being properly vetted. Sources close to the investigation also told him the Saudi is still set for deportation.
  • New information provided to TheBlaze reveals Alharbi’s file was altered early Wednesday evening to disassociate him from the initial charges.
  • Sources say the Saudi’s student visa specifically allows him to go to school in Findlay, Ohio, though he appears to have an apartment in Boston, Massachusetts.
  • Sources tell us this will most likely now be kicked from the DHS to the DOJ and labeled an ongoing investigation that can no longer be discussed.

Todd Starnes’ article at Fox was pulled – here’s the cached version. People reporting on this, according to Glenn Beck, are being threatened by the government with up to 20 years in prison. How very fascist of them.

There are questions that urgently need to be answered on the Saudi in the hospital:

  • It is being claimed there is a second Saudi in custody. Who is he, where is he and what is he charged with?
  • Who is Abdul Rahman Ali Alharbi? Who are his parents?
  • Why did Obama really meet with the Saudi Foreign Prime Minister and the Saudi Ambassador last Wednesday?
  • Why did the NTC issue an event file calling for his deportation using section 212, 3B, which is proven terrorist activity?
  • Why was the 212, 3B changed last Wednesday and by whom?
  • Where is Abdul Rahman Ali Alharbi? Rumor has it he could be on his way back to Saudi Arabia tomorrow, if he is not already gone.
  • Who revoked the deportation order? The only ones who could have are the Director of the NTC, who could do it after speaking with each department, the FBI, the ATC, etc. — which is impossible to do in such a short period of time, — or, somebody at the very highest levels of the State Department could do it. So, which is it and why?
  • Why did Janet Napolitano lie in front of Congress when asked about the Saudi?
  • Why did Michelle Obama visit the Saudi in the hospital?
  • Was the Saudi here to recruit fighters in the U.S. for Jihad?

I think Beck is right, Obama and his Islamic brethren in our government have a deal with the Wahhabist Saudis who are the largest funders of terrorism on the planet. And a cultural Jihad is taking place here in the U.S. It has to do with oil, banking and Islam.

The Saudis have infiltrated this country solidly. They are in our government, our schools and our media. CAIR and the Muslim Brotherhood are conducting a soft coup from within and we are letting it happen. It is a form of warfare that came straight from Italian Communist Party leader, Antonio Gramsci, who promoted exchanging the subtle long-term infiltration of institutions and Government for the outdated, confrontational street-marching tactics of Mao Tse Tung. It is the blending and merging of Islamism and Marxism and it is Death to America.

Every time there is an attack here, our rights are increasingly curtailed and we are further suppressed, while Islamic extremists get more and more freedom. The former Vice President of CAIR in Dallas, Texas is now running the Syrian Rebels – they are terrorists. Look at the Ft. Hood bombing, Benghazi and others. We let terrorist killers walk while persecuting Americans. Islam is in our White House and its purveyors are ruling America. They are teaching our kids and rewriting our laws. America, we are at war on our own soil and Saudi Arabia is behind much of it.

We have to stop sleeping with the Saudis, before they finish us off in our sleep.

Obama’s “Catch & Release” of Saudi Boston Marathon Bombing Suspect

Hat Tip: BB

CleanTVcom:

In the wake of the 9/11 attacks, U.S. air travel came to a screeching halt. All airliners were forced to land at the nearest airport, and no new flights could take off or land for the next 24 hours…with ONE, notable exception. The family members of the Bin Ladin clan were allowed to exit America and fly to their homes in Saudi Arabia!

Has history just repeated itself…again? The U.S. government is permitting a Saudi national with probable family ties to known Islamic terrorists to be deported from this country, despite his initial apprehension and labeling as a suspect in the Boston Marathon bombings. The unexpected move, ordering the repatriation of 20-year-old Abdul Rahman Ali Alharbi, came only after a quickly arranged private meeting between the Saudi Foreign Secretary and U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry. Coincidence?

Just how serious is the issuance of this “get out of jail free” card by the Obama administration? Former Palestinian terrorist Walid Shoebat has translated a list of 85 wanted Al Qaeda members, and seven of them share the last name of Al Harbi! Another five known terrorists named Al Harbi are currently incarcerated at the U.S. operated Guantanamo Bay prison facility in Cuba.

The newly deported Saudi was in this country on a “student visa,” as were many of those who staged the 9/11 operation. So why is this “person of interest” in the Boston Marathon bombings being given a pass by the Obama administration? But if anyone dares to question his motives, those close to Barrack Obama insist that he is fiercely loyal to the nation…We simply ask, “Which nation?”

The Internet Sales Tax Rush

The Senate will likely vote today on the Internet Sales Tax: S. 743, the so-called Marketplace Fairness Act.

Both of Idaho’s Senators voted for this in the vote-o-rama, when the Senate was passing their first budget in 4 years. The feds will use retail stores to reach across state lines and collect their sales tax for the state goverment as a revenue stream. Instead of advocating for responsible fiscal govt, this will only encourage reckless spending.

Please call your Senators and urge a NO Vote on this bill.

The Internet Sales Tax Rush

Harry Reid and Wal-Mart hope nobody will notice their online revenue raid.

Every time Congress has taken a serious look at proposals to boost Internet sales taxes, it has rejected them. That’s probably why pro-tax Senators are trying to rush through an online tax hike with as little consideration as possible.

As early as Monday, the Senate will vote on a bill that was introduced only last Tuesday. The text of this legislation, which would fundamentally change interstate commerce, only became available on the Library of Congress website over the weekend. And you thought ObamaCare was jammed through Nancy Pelosi’s Democratic House in a hurry.

For Senators curious about what they’re voting on, it is the same flawed proposal that Mike Enzi (R., Wyo.) introduced in February. It has been repackaged to qualify for a Senate rule that allows Majority Leader Harry Reid to bypass committee debate and bring it straight to the floor.

Mr. Enzi’s Marketplace Fairness Act discriminates against Internet-based businesses by imposing burdens that it does not apply to brick-and-mortar companies. For the first time, online merchants would be forced to collect sales taxes for all of America’s estimated 9,600 state and local taxing authorities.

New Hampshire, for example, has no sales tax, but a Granite State Web merchant would be forced to collect and remit sales taxes to all the governments that do. Small online sellers will therefore have to comply with tax laws created by distant governments in which they have no representation, and in places where they consume no local services.

Meanwhile, New Hampshire’s brick-and-mortar retailers will bear no such burden. They will not be required to collect taxes on the many customers who drive across the Maine and Massachusetts borders to shop in New Hampshire. Bill sponsors say it would be too big a hassle to force traditional retailers to ask every walk-in customer where they live, but these Senators are happy to impose new obligations online.

The Enzi plan would require a centralized tax collector for each state or for a group of states that would gather both state and local levies from the online merchants. His office concedes that could still mean 27 or more different auditors of a Web-based business—which is better than 9,600 but hardly qualifies as simplicity.

The drivers of this rush to tax are Wal-Mart and other big retailers that can more easily absorb the costs of collection than can smaller competitors. Also supporting the bill is Internet giant Amazon, which coincidentally now sells its own tax compliance service to other merchants. Adding to the lobbying muscle are state and local governments. The politicians believe they’ll collect tens of billions of dollars in taxes that are already owed by shoppers on remote sales but rarely paid.

So big business and big government are uniting to pursue their mutual interest in sticking it to the little guy. Any Internet seller with more than $1 million in annual sales would be forced to serve all of the nation’s tax collectors. It’s true that many small brick-and-mortar retailers in states with sales taxes support the Enzi bill. They say they’re at a disadvantage as customers examine products in their showrooms and then go home to buy them tax-free. On the other hand, some customers use retail websites for research before buying at a local store.

But even if the goal is to “level the playing field” in favor of Main Street, it won’t happen. Mr. Enzi cannot possibly force all the world’s Internet businesses to collect local U.S. taxes. So instead of shifting sales from online to bricks-and-mortar, he might succeed in shifting them from U.S. online merchants to foreign ones.

This rush to tax is an attempt to overturn the Supreme Court’s 1992 decision in Quill v. North Dakota that forcing businesses to collect and remit taxes to jurisdictions where they have no physical presence was too big a burden. Though that ruling applied to catalogs in the pre-Internet age, it established an important principle of cross-state tax accountability.

Congress does have the power to write new rules for interstate commerce. But for years even politicians who wanted to force remote sellers to collect taxes conceded that it would only work if states and localities dramatically simplified their tax systems. That has never happened. So now the tax collectors promise that software will figure out how every item is taxed in every town in America.

Perhaps software will flawlessly determine, for example, what is classified as candy for tax purposes and what is considered food in each jurisdiction. But the legislation itself contemplates confusion, as it spells out when a merchant is liable for errors and when a software vendor takes the blame. The way governments work, they’ll penalize both merchants and the software vendors for mistakes.

Some of our conservative friends are backing this Internet tax raid as a way to raise revenue to avoid more state income-tax increases. More likely the new revenues will merely fund larger government. Republicans who are realists about government would be wiser to join Senators Ron Wyden (D., Ore.) and Kelly Ayotte (R., N.H.), who are leading the opposition.
